Mission Thirteen: Hijack

As the chapter starts, follow the truck in front of you and it will go to a small building and the drivers and guards will get out. When they do another truck will drive off from the rear. Ignore the guards and enemies here and go back to following the truck. You can pretty much just let the truck go there by itself and you can meet it later, since when it gets there it just stays there but the dot will disappear so make sure you do stay close enough to know where it went. Follow it to the yard and when you reach it get out of your car and get ready for some gun play.

Enter the area where the car is and you can just start to kill everyone in site. When they are all down, hop in the car that you need to steal and start your way back to the hideout. Along the way there will be tails and roadblocks like the police had set up. Smash through the roadblocks and drive to the hide out with the tail. When you reach it you will be told to lose the tail. You can simply lose the tail by getting out of your car and killing the driver of the tailing car. When you do, get back in your car and drive to the hide out and complete the mission.

Mission Fourteen: Arms Deal

When the chapter starts you have 59 seconds on the clock to get to the warehouse. Go forward and then make a right and follow the little road way through the arch to the street. Make another right and simply follow the road straight to the warehouse where another scene will start. Now you will need to get the package and drive it to the drop spot. Unfortunately to get the package you need to fight for it. Walk to the end of the street and head around the corner.

Make another left when you reach the next street and follow it to the alleyway there where the red arrow is above the truck. Kill the three enemies in the alley and take a few steps forward. When you do, some more enemies will appear asking to be killed. Oblige them and you should be able to hop in the truck now with out obstruction. When you are in it, you will have 2:20 to get to the drop spot. Also along the way, there will be a car following you trying you ram you. If you get hit too many times the meter for the crate will fill and explode.

I found that leading the trailing car into oncoming traffic was the best way to take it out and keep moving but I also made it to the drop spot with about 40 seconds left on the timer. You may want to get out and just shoot the driver to stop him from following you and then make your way to the drop spot without hassle. When you get near the drop spot, turn down the alley way towards the green dot and drive carefully since it is a tight fit. Stop at the red arrow to complete the mission.

Mission Fifteen: Booby Trap

Speed anyone? This just isn’t the same without Sandra Bullock. Just like the movie, if your car drops below 50 mph, then it goes kablooey and you go along with it. For the first part of the mission it is a test of not crashing. If you do go below 50 mph, you have a meter that fills to allow you to get back up to speed so if you do crash you don’t immediately explode. Follow the streets and be careful since hitting things is a good way to stop and die. When you get close to the green dot, Lomaz will tell you that the other car is there so you need to pull to the left and drive along the beach where the truck is. Drive up along side the truck and press Y to get Lomaz to jump.

It isn’t all that easy the first time but you need to make sure that you keep the truck squarely bedside you and you don’t pull away from it while he’s jumping. You also only have a very limited amount of space to get Lomaz to jump so the quicker the better. When Lomaz is clear, another scene will play and you’ll be told to bring the car to the person who set you up. You’ll start on the beach and you need to get to the green dot on your map. It’s tricky at the start to get off the beach without blowing up but here’s how you do it. Drive up the first ramp on your right side as soon as you start. Drive on an angle so that you go up the ramp and you go towards the street. There will be a light pole there that if you hit will finish you, so make sure you go to the left of it.

When you land, immediately swing your car to the right and head down the street there that will lead to a dead end at he far end with three roads going to the right at the end. Drive all the way down there and take the second last right turn. Follow this road until you are close to the dot and enter the parking lot of the warehouse on the right, just before the green dot. Keep your car going 50 or more and don’t slow down for anything. When you go around the corner you will see the red arrow and a truck. Drive towards the truck at full speed and when you are told to jump, press X and jump out of the car. If you live, then the mission is over. If you jumped to close to the truck then you will die in the explosion and fail the mission.

Mission Sixteen: Calita in Trouble

You have Lomaz tell you that Calita is in some hot water and that there is a truck of reinforcements on their way to her position to finish her off. Take off out of the hide out going right and go through the arch and right again along the highway. Keep following it right until you catch up to the green dot. Make a left and a quick right and you should be right behind it by now. Stay back a good distance from the truck since if you get close, the doors will open and two enemies will be in there shooting at you. They will destroy your car in no time flat and Calita will be toast. Stay far back from the truck and have Lomaz open fire on it. Just keep shooting at it and it will eventually die and you will be told to get to Calita. Follow the road around to the right and then 2 left turns and enter the yellow lighted area on the left where the red arrow and two enemies are.

Get out of the car and kill them. Head through the opening where the arrow is and go up the stairs to kill two more guards there. Grab the grenade launcher in the corner and walk up to the railing on the left side of the stairs. There will be a group of enemies on the right side while Calita will be all by herself on the left side. Fire the grenades at the group of guys to kill them and Calita will be saved. Now comes the hard part. You need to catch Fabienne but she is one fast mofo. Run down to your car and get in it as fast as possible. If you take too long, you’ll fail. You really do need to stick on her ass and not let her get away or let yourself crash at all. After about two minutes of driving, Fabienne will spin out of control and get out of her car and start firing at you. Simply step out of your car and shoot her once to kill her and end the mission.

Mission Seventeen: Rescue Dubois

Drive to restaurant as quickly as you want since there really is no rush at all. Stop just before it, down the street a bit and get out of the car. Take out the guards out front of it from a distance to minimize your chances of getting hit. When they are all dead, head to the front of the restaurant and up the stairs to the red arrow. When you reach it, the guards inside should be firing at you already from behind the bar. Start shooting the guards inside and make your way in yourself. There will be a health pack on the far right side of the bar if you need it. Head to the left side of the room and to the door there. When you approach it, two enemies will come out and open fire. Take them down and go through the door to find two more enemies.

Kill them and go through the door on the left and enter the office room. In here will be three more enemies all of which are easy enough to take out. When they are dead, head to the far right of the room and a scene will play where Dubois is taken in a car. Now the fun part. Just like the previous mission, you need to hop in your car as quickly as possible and chase after the car with Dubois in it. When you are chasing it, you’ll also need to fire at it like the Gator mission. The car will have a health meter that shows it’s status. Once you have shot it enough times, it will stop and the two body guards inside will get out. Kill them and the mission is over.

A tricky way to get this part of the mission complete is to run forward as soon as it starts and let the car hit you so that you roll over onto it’s roof. Walk to the front of the car and crouch and use the micro Uzi to blast the car apart in no time flat. Jump off the roof and let the two guards come out and kill them. That way is a lot faster, but it can take many many tries to actually get hit by the car so that you stay on it. Also sometimes while you are on the car shooting at it, you’ll fall off and even blow up the car if you give it too much damage. Either way is up to you but since you don’t have to worry about losing the car when you are on top of it, I found this way a lot easier.

Mission Eighteen: Hunted

Follow the river around and out to the ocean and pull in at the boat house. When the next scene starts, you find yourself in a little bit of trouble. After the scene when you are back in control you only have a few seconds to get your act together. Some enemies are using a torch to get through the door and you need to get out of there. What you need to do is use the forklift to pick up a crate and drive it between the two walkways on the second floor. Lift the box up using the B button and hop out of the forklift. Go over to the ladder and climb up and hop across to the box and from the box to the next walkway. Grab the gun at the next ladder and make your way down to the ground.

Grab the health pack there and turn around. Head for the door opposite the opening to the water and kill the guards that will come through. Grab the shotgun on the ground and take out the three more enemies outside. Hop in the car and take off for the marker. While you are on your way there, a tail car will start ramming you. Stop, get out and take them out. There will also be a roadblock or two on the way that you can drive through. When you reach the circle road around the mark, drive to the cement blocks blocking the door way and get out of the car. Way up the road leading up and there will be a road block of cars and enemies. Take out the enemies and shot the cars to blow them up so you can get past. Run down the road more and grab the health pack on the other side of the tunnel arched way.

Make your way to the next road and head right. When you reach the bridge spanning across over head, slowly make your way forward as there will be a bunch of enemies there on the left. Take out who you can see there and back up a bit and run up the side of the hill and look over the small brick wall to see a few more enemies. Shoot them from there and then make your way back down and around to the left to where the cars are blocking the path. Make sure everyone is dead here and then shoot the car to torch them. Make sure you stay back a bit when they catch fire and are ready to blow. Run past the debris after they blow to the red arrow and the mission will end.

Istanbul, Turkey

Mission Nineteen: Surveillance

As the mission starts you have to follow Jericho and see where he goes. When you are tailing him, there will be a proximity meter to show how close or far you are from him. You want to try and keep the meter just under half so that you aren’t too close where you’ll fail and not too far behind where you will fail as well. It is a simple little jaunt to follow him and a scene will play when you reach the destination. When you are back in control, go around to the rear corner of the building Jericho entered. The will be a short brick wall with an opening and a staircase leading down.

Enter the door at the bottom of the stairs and go through the door. Kill the guard in front with the silenced pistol and head up the stairs on the left. Kill the guard you come to with his back to you and continue up the stairs some more. When you reach the landing before the third floor, turn and face it and you will see a guard standing against the railing. If you don’t shoot him fast enough he will go for a walk and you’ll have to use the wall there for cover until he comes back. Kill him and go up the stairs and go to the left. Go around to the left again through the broken wall and there will be a guard in front of a hole in the floor. Kill him and jump down the hole to the red arrow to find the meeting. After you are spotted, shot the enemy in the door and head through. Ignore the enemies on the other side of the wall and head to the right and go up the stairs to kill the enemy there.

Keep going up the stairs and exit at the rooftop and kill the few enemies there. Head across to the staircase and fire at the enemies below. When they are dead, go down and across the roof. Kill the group of enemies there and head to the next building. Some enemies will come running out at you from the opening of the building under construction. Kill them and go through to the building and kill the rest of the enemies in there. Now you can make your way down the ramp through the opening in the floor. Make your way down to the ground and a scene will play telling you to get to the hotel. There will be two cars that pull up on the street with more enemies. Kill all of them and hop in your truck and boot it to the hotel. When you reach it, get out of your car and kill the driver of the car tailing you. Head over to the red arrow and end the mission.

Mission Twenty: Tanner Escapes

This mission is actually kind of fun. What you need to do is destroy the cop cars following you and not let them destroy the truck by ramming it. Equip your grenade launcher when the cop cars are a good distance away and bounce grenades beside them. Usually beside is better since it blows up a lot of things other then just the car. When the cop cars get too close, use the Uzi on them and mow them down until they stop ramming you. That’s pretty much the basics of the level and there isn’t much to help you out along the way other than to watch the map so that you can see when the cop cars are coming and listen for the sirens.

When one is in front of you and you drive past it, launch a grenade before you pass it and you will usually nail the cop car easily. Keep it up until the next scene plays and you find your self in some water. Drive the boat tot eh left and pull up beside the shore wall. There are stair cases along the wall there that you can jump out of the boat and run up. When you are back on land, grab a car and make your way to the hotel. The drive is a fairly long one and there are plenty of cops around. Some times I would make it to the hotel without one cop seeing me and other times the entire force would be on my ass. Either way, when you get to the hotel, run in the front door or unless you were tailed, kill the cops that followed you and enter the hotel to end the mission.

Mission Twenty One: Another Lead

Another simple chase mission but this one starts off as a real bitch. As soon as the car takes off, go to the left and drive out the yard after the car. Don’t drive out to fast or else you’ll wipe out and he’ll get away. Follow him through the streets and stay real close to him. Eventually when it seems like it’s taking forever, you‘ll reach a mall of sorts and the driver will run inside. Enter it and start taking out all the enemies that appear. Make your way and go to the right. When you reach the end of that hallway go to the left and kill everyone in here. Make your way forward and take the first right you come to. Go to the end and make a left. Again clear out the enemies here and enter the first hallway on the left to find the driver who was running from you. When you find him a scene will play.

Mission Twenty Two: Alley way

This is definitely not one of the easiest missions. As you start you are in control of Jones and are after the bag man. He will zip away quite fast so hop in the sports car in front of you and reverse a touch and then floor it to go after him. This chase is just like any other chase mission where you need to keep on him and don’t let him get away. The tricky part about this mission however is the name, alleyways. The bag man loves to take narrow alleys through out the city and it is quite easy to wipe out and crash there going through them.

Keep following the bag man through the city and he will eventually turn left onto a street that isn’t marked on the map. When he does, stop at the top of the street, which will have a truck at the far end blocking the street off and get out of the car. Walk down the street a bit and there will be some thugs there to take out. When you move closer to them, a truck will block the path behind you and more thugs will jump out. Tag them and then head for the door where the red arrow is. Kill the two guards in side and grab the health pack to the left of the front door. Head up the stairs and kill the enemies in here and go to the right. Wait for the enemy to come out of the door there and kill him.

Go through and follow the room and stairs down until you come to an outside area will a car in the center. Kill the three enemies in here and hop in the car. Drive up the ramp and smash through the wooden doors and you will need to drive yourself all the way back to your hideout. Along the way there will be some cars that try to take you down so you can either let them follow you and get out and kill them when you reach the hideout, or you can just get out when they start following you. It’s a pretty hefty drive so chances are you will have a tail at least once along the way. When you get to the hideout, you have escaped and the mission is over.

Mission Twenty Three: The Chase

I’ll let you in on a little secret right now. This is the worst mission of the entire game. It must have taken me about 300 tries to finally get past the first part. What you need to do from the start is reverse and go to the right so that you have enough room to pull forward to the left and turn around without hitting anything other than the car behind you. After you do that, then you need to chase down Calita before she gets to far away. You’ll be chasing her to a highway bridge but she takes two routes there. The two are left route and the alley route where she turns right after a short jaunt down the long straight stretch of road. The alley route is just incredibly hard. I could make it almost all the way out but I never actually did.

Always very close but never quite the whole thing. The left route that she takes is much easier and lot more straight forward except she very rarely ever takes it. I noticed she would take the left route if there was a car beside her where she would normally turn right or if you were beside her. You can try the right route through all the alley ways like you doing chasing the bagman but your best bet is to hope she takes the left path and follow here along it. When she does take the left path, she go straight past where she always turns right to the next street and make a left. She’ll head to the end and make a right and follow that road until she crosses the street and drives through some trees to another road on the other side.

From there it’s a short drive to the bridge where she’ll almost escape. There really isn’t much help that I can give you to pass this part of the mission other than to practice driving when she takes the right route through the alleys and make it count when she takes the left route. Also if you screw up backing up out of your parking space, just restart and save the hassle since you won’t catch her. After you reach the bridge and the scene plays, get out of your car and walk to the left side of the bridge. Go into the control booth and press the lit up switch there and the bridge will start to lower. Get back in your car and drive across when it lowers.

Drive to the end and make a left to the shop there with the red arrow. After the next scene you’ll be on a bike and need to track her down one more time. Ride out of the store and make a left after her. Make a right when you reach the end of the street and follow her along the next few streets. You can pretty much keep the speed floored after the first two turns and keep on her tail. After a few turns Calita will turn into an Archway on the left and stay there. Slow down and ride through and you will catch her. If you wipe out or crash, she will get away so take your time going through the opening.
