Chapter 1-1 :

After the long introduction movie and when you are finally in control of Leon, make your way forward down the path towards the house. Read the sign there and it will tell you that you are in Peublo. Enter the house and make your way around the corner. Talk to him and then he will attack. Shoot him in the throat and then walk up to him to kick him and take him down. After that, Hunnigan will call and talk to you. As she does, there will be three more villagers that come out to play outside. Head up the stairs after you take the bullets from him and take the bullets off the table there. Head back to the window and jump out. When you land, three villagers will gather around you. Take them all down and pick up the ammo and coins. Continue down the path and you will come to a shack on the right. Enter it and smash open the boxes to get a green herb and some coins. Grab the ammo and save and head back out.

Continue down the path and you will come to a dog that is caught in a tap. Free it and it will run away. Continue along and shoot the explosives that are on the trees ahead of you with the red lights. Go past them and follow the path to the right where you will run into another villager. Kill him and keep following the path to another shack on the left. Two villagers will come up the hill to meet you, so take them down before they get too close. Enter the shack and grab the health and coins and say hi to the lady stick on the wall. Head back out and follow the path down and across the wooden bridge. There will be some enemies on the other side that yell. Make your way down the slope and there will be a shack on the left side with a villager in it. Kill him and grab the ammo and coins. Head back out and go left to the large iron door.

After you go through and read the manual, you will come up to a town. Use your binoculars to look at the town and make your way forward. Run through the center of the town and head for the building on the left that has a red box beside the open door. Enter the room and a scene will play where you will block the door with a dresser. Run up the stairs after it is over and grab the shotgun off the wall. Don? worry about grabbing other stuff other than ammo for now. Jump through either window since now you will just be running around killing people until you hear the church bells. It is best to let a group of villagers come up to you so you can blast them with the shotgun. It will take down three at once if you get in a good shot. There will also be a chainsaw villager running around who will kill you in one nasty hit.

You?l knock him down a few times and then he will eventually stay down. Once you have killed enough people, the villagers will leave and the town will be empty. You can now search through the buildings to find coins, health and more ammo. There is also a spinel on top of the roof around the corner to the left where you grabbed the shotgun. Grab it for a little treasure. Now when you are ready, do what Hunnigan said and head down the path next to the tower. Enter the shack on the left there and read the dossier that is about you and the hostage. Leave and continue down the path to the door at the end. When you enter the farm area, there are only a few enemies to worry about and they come over one at a time.

Head into the shack on the left and save. Head across to the blue piece of paper on the tree to learn about the medallions. There is one right beside you, so shoot it and you can check the map for the location of the other 6 in this area. Around the corner to the left will also be a well with a pendant handing from the top. Shoot the board and the cover on the well will close. Shoot the pendant to drop it and grab it. Once you have searched the buildings for the goods and have gotten the rest of the medallions, head through the gate down the right path (make sure you save first). Make your way down the stairs and some tricky villagers have set a trap for you. Tap A button to run like hell and quickly press the button or combination of buttons it tells you to press to dodge. It? different each time because their crafty like that.

Continue along the path through the tunnel and shoot the Spinels on the ceiling to drop them down. Enter the next area and there will be a house to the right and a shack on the left. There are traps on the ground here and explosives in the shack. As well there is a villager in the house tossing out dynamite. Grab the good from the shack and kill the guy in the house and continue to the left and enter the larger house there. Save at the typewriter and follow the hallway around to the next room. Push the dresser blocking the doorway out of the way and head down the corridor. Open the doors at the end of the hall where someone is knocking and the first section of chapter one will end.

Chapter 1-2:

After the long cut scene, you will need to dodge an attack during it. Once it passes and you talk to Hunnigan, make your way through the room and a fellow will appear in the window. Go outside and talk to him and he will sell you some weapons as well as allow you to sell the jewels and pendants you have gathered. Buy what you want and then save again at the typewriter inside the building. Go through the large gate and you will get a flyby of the next area. Enter and make your way to the right. Head down the stairs and kill the oncoming villagers. Make a left across the bridge to the building there and enter it to grab some goodies.

Head back out and go around the corner and up the ladder. Grab the right half of the Emblem from the chest there and drop down the hole. Grab the ammo and make your way through the next door. When you are back outside, head to the right and head back across the bridge. Now follow the path up to the sandbags there and grab the left half of the Emblem from the chest after you kill the enemies here. Hop down the opening of the wooden structure and down the ladder and head to the rear of the building on the right and use the combined emblem on the large gate there. Go through and head to the end of the pathway where there will be another large door. Enter the room there and make a right to the door with a light above it. Follow the hallway around and hop through the window around the corner.

When you enter the room here, there will be a villager tossing dynamite. Let him blow up the other villagers and then take him down. Continue through the room and you will come to a catwalk above water. Hop down to grab some goods there and climb back up. Climb up the next ladder and you will be back outside. Walk forward to the building there and go up the stairs. Make a right around the corner and you will come to a door with a blue crystal. Look beside it and there will be designs on the door. Turn the crystal until the insignia matches the designs, it was up and left for me, and then enter the bedroom. Read the note on the bed and grab the insignia key from the chest on the dresser. Once you have it, head through the metal door and save.

Chapter 1-3:

If you enter back in to the room you were just in, another scene will play with the big boss. Afterwards, continue down the hall and head down the stairs. Grab the goods from the dinning room and the chicken egg from the stove and head out the front door. A chainsaw villager and some regular ones will come down the road way. Shoot the chainsaw guy and run past the rest to the large gate at the far end of the path. Go through there and you will be back in the village you were in earlier. There will also be a crap load of enemies here to fight if you want. If you don? want to fight them, then run through the mod and head to the right and make your way to the metal door that had the red insignia on it. Use the insignia key to open and enter. Save your game there and head through the next door. Enter the room and shoot down the lamp but make sure you keep a few feet back.

Grab the treasure from it and hop down the opening in the floor. Follow the passage along and when you reach the bottom, take out the next lamp. You will then see a few jewels in the ceiling. Shoot them down to grab them and continue through the tunnel until a scene plays and you meet the store owner. Sell your goods and buy what you need and continue to the ladder. Climb up it and you will be in the cemetery. Follow the path forward and to the right to find a small shack there with a man and woman. Kill them and then you can start your way up the hill while shooting out the rest of the blue medallions marked on your map. When you get to the top of the hill, there will be a large church there and a few more villagers. Kill them and walk up to the church and the front door will be locked. Head around the back of the church and two more villagers will approach.

Kill them and you will come to a dial of sorts with symbols on it. You need to turn the dial in increments of 3 or 4 to light up the three symbols of the families marked on the tombstones in the front of the church. Turn the dial 3,4,3,3,4,3 and then 3 and you will receive the green catseye jewel for your troubles. Head back to the path near the front of the church and follow it to the east and across the wooden bridge where three more villagers will attack you. Kill them and hop over the gap there. Shoot the two medallions there and enter the shack on the right. Read the note about the church and it will say there is a key beyond the lake. Head back out of the shack and continue across the bridge to the door where the villager is. Kill him and go through. You will enter a large area here with some growling. If you check the gate on the left far side it will seem to be coming from there.

Enter the shacks on the right for some goodies and then head through the metal gate. Make a right when you go through to enter a hallway that leads to a typewriter and a merchant. Save and buy and head back out. Make a right and go through the metal gate here and it will lead you to a path and some more tricky villagers and their giant rocks. Run away from it and mash the combination of buttons it takes to dodge it and you will come to a dock area. When you get to the end of the first dock, the area will start to fill with enemies. Use the explosives in the area to your advantage and have them blow up some villagers. Kill them as they enter and then make your way to the next section. Head up the bank and walk past the shack on the left and you will come to a large gate. Go through and you will be on another pathway. Follow it all the way to the end, ignoring the path on the right for now, to watch a scene in the water. After the scene, head back down the path and take the path on the left now.

Grab the goods from the shack on the right and continue to the shack at the end where there will be a green herb and a typewriter. Save there and then make your way out to the dock. Hop in the boat there and drive it out a bit until the scene starts. Now you are face to face with one big fish. The anchor of the boat has gotten hooked on him and he will drag you around the lake. When he heads for trees that are in the water, swing your boat to the left or right to miss it. Grab the harpoons and toss them into the back of the fish to hurt it. When it dives under the water, swing the boat around to one side to make sure you don? get caught up in its bite. After you hit it a few times, the boat will stop and you will be still. Watch the arrows that appear that will show you where the fish will be approaching from. Toss a harpoon into its mouth as it gets close and if you hit it, it will finally die. If you miss, it will grab you again and drag you around the lake a bit more until it stops again. Once you have it killed, tap A during the cut scene to free yourself and another scene will play.

Chapter 2-1:

Now that you are on the other side of the lake, Save at the typewriter there and check out the room. Grab the goods scattered about and read the note on the bed. Leave the cabin and hop in the boat. Look at the map and see where the merchant is. Make your way there. When you reach the merchants little cave, get out of the boat and you can either walk directly in and talk to him or go to the left and push the box out of the way there and climb the ladder on the side. Grab the goodies scattered around and drop down the hole in the ceiling after clearing the path through more boxes. Once you are done with the merchant and have gotten your new Punisher gun, head back to the boat and back to the dock you just were and save again. Now make your way outside and up the path to the right. Go through the large metal doors and continue along the path to meet a creepy new enemy. Kill him and you will come to stream and some platforms to hop across. Jump across and head left.

Jump back across a few more and head to the right where you will be able to climb down a rope. Do so and make your way forward. Climb the ladder on the right to take out a villager and grab some ammo. Climb back down and make a right to come to a dead end. Shoot the crate hanging in front of you to drop it into the water. Hop across to the other side and make a right along the wooden walkway to the ladder there. Shoot the chain holding the crate on the left and climb the ladder to the top. Up here you will see another crate. Shoot it as well and climb back down the ladder. Make your way back to the end of the dock where you jumped the crate and make a right across the next two. Head to the ladder at the end of the walkway and climb up to come to a lever. Pull it and the dam will close and stop the water fall covering the cave. As it does, a group of villagers will enter the area. Head back down and start taking them out as you make your way across the wooden deck to the cave.

Follow the cave to the large door at the end and grab the round insignia from the door. Head through after it opens and make your way to the dock. Jump on the boat and ride it until it stops at the next dock. Hop out and make your way to the left to find a typewriter and the merchant. Buy and save there and make your way back to the right and up the ladder. Follow the stairs up and you will come out to the area you were in before where you hear the growling. Now you get to see what was making it. In the letter you previously read, it said the entrance to the church was guarded by El Gigante and now you get to meet him. After the opening scene, he will have a few attacks that he uses against you that mainly include either throwing things at you or grabbing you. Run away from him as much as you can and use the quick turn move to get some shots off at him. After you pop him a few times, the dog that you saved will hop out and help you out.

When the monster starts to chase the dog, use that time to get some good shots off at him. Eventually he will fall to his knees and a tentacle thing will come out of his back. Run up to him and climb on top of him. Start tapping what ever button is show to start hacking away at the growth. When you get tossed off, repeat the same procedure until he falls again. Start hacking away and by the third time he will finally die. There are some health and ammo goods in the sheds, but it? easier to hide behind them and have him smash them open rather then running into them to get it. Also there is a red herb around the outside perimeter that you can use combined with a green herb for a full life recovery. Once El Gigante is down for the count, continue down the path or return to the merchant to save. When you are ready, head down the path towards the destination marker which will be the church. Head along the wooden walkway and over the gaps till you come to the path that leads up the left side of the church.

At the top of the path will be some wolves. Pop the first one you see and two more will come running down at you. Kill them as well before they reach you and make your way to the front door of the church. Use the round insignia on the opening in the door and enter. Go to the far right and down the corridor there to come to a ladder. Climb up and walk to the center of the walkway where there is no railing and jump over to the chandelier. When you are swinging, jump when it moves to the other side and you?l land on the other walkway. Go to the right and there will be a panel there with some colored lights on it. Operate it and this little puzzle seems tricky at first but it really isn?. What you need to do is turn each color circle so that the pattern on each circle matches the pattern on the circle in the center. There are also little tags on each color circle that should be in this position. The red color should point down, the blue should point right and the green should point left. When you have all the colors in the correct position, select combine and the gate to the right will open.

Make your way to the right side and go into the large metal door there. Now you will have a quick scene and will meet Ashley. Read the manual to learn how to play along side her and you will also talk to Hunnigan about your extraction point. When you are ready, head back to the ladder you climbed up earlier and hop down. Catch Ashley as she jumps down and enter the main room of the church to trigger a scene and end the chapter section.

Chapter 2-2:

When you are in control again, smash the barrels there and head through the door. Make your way around to the front of the church and go to the path that leads down the hill. There will be a swarm of enemies coming up at you. Shoot the barrels on the cart there and it will ignite and roll down the hill killing just about everyone there. Finish off any leftovers and continue down the path and to the right. Enter the opening there and climb down to enter the tunnel. Follow the passageway to the merchant and buy and sell any goods you may have. When you are ready, continue down the tunnel to the stairs and ladder at the end. Climb up and enter the room there and save. Make your way out and you will be back in the village you first entered. Enter the tower to the right and have Ashley stay there while you clear out the town of villagers.

Keep an eye on Ashley though, I had more than one villager try to take her out. Once the village is clear, search around for goodies and then head up the path to the North east towards the farm. Shoot the bear traps on the ground so that you nor Ashley get caught in them. Kill the few enemies that appear and call Ashley forward and enter the farm area. When you enter it, have her hide in the metal bin to the right and clear out the area. There is a typewriter still inn the hut on the left as well as a new letter about Sera. Leave Ashley in the bin as you clear out the farm of enemies and enter the large barn. Climb up the ladder and hop out the window and follow the platform around to the left. Take out the enemies there and the one at the bottom of the next ladder and hop down. Trigger all the bear traps here by shooting them and then call for Ashley. She? hop out of the bin and run over to your position.

Catch her at the bottom of the ladder and walk over to the large blocked door. Piggy back her over the door and she?l open it from the other side. Continue down the path and deal with the merchant there if you need to. Afterwards, head across the bridge and a scene will start. Once you are inside the house, get ready for a huge onslaught of enemies. You will need all the ammo you have to survive this battle not to mention health. When you are in control, walk to the three bookcases and push each one in front of the windows to get yourself some more time. Grab the ammo off the table and the herbs around the room. When you have them, head up stairs and grab the goods there as well. About now there should be some villagers piling in the house. Stand at the top of the stairs and use the rifle to pop them as they come up.

When they start getting closer to you, switch to the shotgun. Some time Luis will come upstairs right away and sometimes he will stay down stairs. If he comes up, let him stay at the top of the stairs while you help clear it out by tossing grenades over the railings. Be sure to grab the ammo and health that the villagers drop. Now there will be some villagers that try to come in through the windows on the second floor. If Luis is taking care of the villagers, run around to each window and push off the ladders. Eventually the villagers will make it in one way or another so keep an eye on your health and be sure to use grenades to clear out the room when it starts to get a little to hectic. Once you have survived long enough, a scene will play and the chapter section will end.

Chapter 2-3:

Head out of the house and to the rear where there will be a merchant and a typewriter. Save there and read the letter about the two paths that you can take. Enter the small room where there is a lever between the two large doors and move the lever to the left. This will open the left door and just make life easier for you. When you enter the area, have Ashley hide in the metal bin and start taking out all the enemies you can see. Climb the ladder around the corner and continue to fight your way through the villagers. When they are dead, call Ashley and have her hide in the next bin. Continue forward and down the next ladder on the right and grab the herbs from out of the barrels. Climb back up and down the ladder on the left to trigger a scene with two chainsaw wielding momma?. Quickly run up the ladder to the side and kill the enemies up there. The chainsaw women will come up so make sure the walk way is clear when they do.

Start filling them with shotgun shells until they both die. Grab the ruby and camp key from their bodies and hop back down into the area below. Call Ashley and go through the door there. Tell her to stay put and run to the end of the alleyway. When you turn the corner at the end, another large group of villagers will come after you. After you have taken down the swarm, retreat down the alley if you have to get some space to kill them all, head for the red doors and go through. When you walk forward, there will be a merchant on the right and a small hut there with a typewriter inside. Use it to save and read the documents in the back corner on the locker. If you decided to take the right path, way back when, then this is where you would have come out through at the end of it. Make your way back out and up the hill to the path to the left of the large door. Hop on the tram and immediately pop the two villagers on the left side standing there. Now equip the shotgun and start popping the villagers that are riding up the tram beside you. Use the shotgun because you can shoot the weapons they throw at you as well as shooting them off the edge at the same time. When you reach the bottom, head around to the office and grab the goods out of the lockers. Make your way down the stairs outside and there will be a cave to the left you can go into to find some villagers and a yellow catseye. Otherwise, continue down the stairs and follow the passage along to the merchant and typewriter. Save and continue forward to a metal gate and go through. Head down the path to the building at the bottom and a scene will play. During the scene, keep your eyes open to hit the controller. You will need to dodge an attack during the scene to stay alive. After that, the battle begins. It really is a pretty simple battle. First off simply fire at the ugly son of a bitch when he walks slowly towards you.

When he gets a little too close, run around him and quick turn and repeat. If he does get too close, you may have to dodge his attack with a button combination. After you have hit him enough times, he will cut in half and start to hang from the beams. When you see him hanging in front of you, shoot him with the rifle. When he jumps up, run to the other side of the room and quick turn to see him hanging behind you again. It only takes a few shots to kill him, so keep running back and forth when you don? see him and he will go down soon enough. When he does die, grab the eyeball from him and run to the wall of the barn that has flames covering the opening.

You will be given the option to jump over them and Ashley will come to meet you. Head back up the hill to wards the tram car and hop back on it. When you reach the top, go down the stairs and make your way to the door on the left. Use the eye on it and go through. When you are on the other side, there will be some villagers ahead of you standing around. Use the rifle to pop them and tell Ashley to stay put as you move forward. When you get down the path a ways, a truck will come barreling towards you. Pop the driver and the truck will crash. Now for some reason there was group of enemies that just appeared behind Ashley for whatever reason. They just appeared out of thin air. Kill them and head up the path, crack open the barrels and when you reach the castle, another scene will play to end the chapter.

Chapter 3-1:

As the chapter begins in the castle, make your way forward past the merchant and up the stairs. Go through the red door and have Ashley stay put. Make your way around the corner and grab the rifle ammo from the crate. When you see the fly by of the area, it will show you where the few enemies here will be. Pop the two monks ahead of you on the upper level and continue around the path. When you go around, a scene will show you some more monks catapulting fireballs at you. Shoot the red barrel beside them to kill them quickly and continue forward. Go to the left and down the stairs there and you will come to room with a cannon. Check it out and then head back up the stairs and make a left through the open door. When you go up the stairs there, you will need to pop off the three remaining catapults surrounding the area. When they are dead, grab the goods from the shack to the right and the chest to the left of the shack. Run across the bridge walkway to the circular opening and use the crank there to raise the cannon.

Fire it at the door and then have Ashley follow you through it. Shop at the merchant here if you like to find some new weapons and a case. Head through the red door and you will see a sword on the wall. Walk up to it and take it and make your way up the stairs. When you reach the top, there will be a few monks there. Kill them and then some reinforcements will show up. As they rush up the stairs, take them down. Once everyone is finally dad, walk to the far wall and grab the bold sword off the wall and place the platinum one in it? place. Take the gold sword and go back down the stairs and kill the red robed monk there. Place the gold sword on the gold wall plate and a door up the stairs will open. Head up there and go through the red door. Walk forward and Luis will show up for pretty much no reason and be gone again. Walk forward a few steps and some monks will run out of the small door and go to the large door. Kill them quickly and head through the door they came out of.

To the left will be a small room with a few monks in it. Run in and clear it out and go through the next door to find a monk on the upper lever shooting arrows at you. Snipe him and continue under where he was to come to two shielded guards. You can shoot through their shield to hit them but it takes a few shots and their maces do some heavy damage. Kill them and enter the next room and have Ashley stay in the far corner of the room up the stairs near the chest. Grab the red herb and grab the key from the chest. When you do, the room will fill with enemies to kill. Immediately shoot the red barrel near the door and you should be able to kill almost all of them instantly. If not, clean up the remaining one or few and head back out to the main area where the large locked door was. Go through there and head north through the laughing until a scene starts. After it is over, the way forward will be blocked, so save at the typewriter and head to the right. Enter the room there and make your way to the painting on the right.

Look at it to get some treasure and clear the vases in the room to get other goodies. Head to the end of the room and read the note on the wall about Luis and make a left. You will come to fire breathing statues of horses and there will be a painting on the right side. Grab the prison key from the painting and head back out to the blue door in the previous room. Leave Ashley behind as you go down the stairs and notice the bells on the walls. These will come in handy soon. Open the cell that has the prisoner in it and as you approach he will break free. Run out and since he is blind, he can only attack from sound. He will have giant claws that he uses to swipe at you when he thinks he can hear you. Let him charge you and get out of the way to shoot the creature on his back. This is where you will keep shooting him to kill him. It takes quite a few shots with the pistol but he really is simple to beat.

Also you can shoot the bells to attract him but he will destroy them if you don? shoot him before he reaches them. After he is down for the count, use the lever in the cell and it will shut off the flames above. Head back up and some monks will enter at the far end of the room. Snipe them quick and head into the room with the horse statues. Kill the monks here and continue to the next room. Go through the large door and you will be face to face with about 6 or so monks. Run forward as you enter with Ashley behind you and use a grenade to take out the two shielded monks in front of you. Kill the red robed monk and continue forward and down the stairs. Enter the room in the center and have Ashley stand on a yellow square as you stand on the other. A pillar will rise in the center of the main room and more enemies will enter. Use this room as a stand and kill the enemies as they rush in. When you have killed enough of them, head back out to the main room.

Kill off any remaining enemies out here and use the pillar in the center to crank down a stair case. Head up it and you will be in another large area. If you don? have a lot of rifle ammo, break some vase and get looking for some. Once you have some, head over to one of the paintings on the left or right and you will lift Ashley up to operate a crank there. While she is turning it, you will need to cover her with the rifle and keep your self alive with the shotgun. Switch back and forth as necessary and keep you both alive until Ashley has both blocks in the water risen. When they are, catch her and head across them to the large doors there. Run down the hallway to the type writer and merchant and save. To the left will be a blue door that leads to a minigame. Play it if you like and head to the end of the hall to end the chapter.

Chapter 3-2:

Now that Ashley isn? with you things should get easier right? Wrong. Head through the door on the right and it will lead to an opening in the floor. Drop down the sewer and make your way around the corner. Head to the end and you will run into an insect that is invisible from a distance but very ugly close up. You can kick it when it close and shoot it when it? far to stay safe. After it is dead, continue down the passage and you will come to a ladder leading downwards. Kill the two insects there before they get up the ladder and take the jewels they have will them. Head down into the water and up the other side and head through the door. When you enter the next area there will be a large circle on the ceiling, a passage to the left and a ladder leading down into some water at the far end.

Kill the insects that pop up first and then head down the passage on the left. Follow it around to the control room and use the valve handle to drain the water. Head back out to the main room and kill a few more insects before jumping down the ladder. When you do, go through the door and follow it around to the stairs case and up through the door. Enter it and you will come out to a room with some swinging blades. Make your way pass them and enter the door on the other side. When you enter, you will be shown a scene with some monks. Jump down and they will make a run for it. One won? get away so take him out and save at the typewriter. Head up the stairs on the side and talk to the merchant if you like before heading through the red door there. Head up the stairs after you clear the room of goodies and you will come out to room with a red robed monk on the far side with a key around his neck. He? your target for this area but he keeps moving. Clear the balcony of other enemies and head through the door on the left. Go up the stairs and kill the monks there and go out the door.

Head around the walkway and drop of to the balcony below. Kill the enemies there and go through the door to the stairs that lead up. Follow the walkway back around and the red robed monk will still be on the move. Once you are back down on the ground floor again, the monk will jump in a machine gun and spin around firing. Head back up to the top floor and snipe him to take him out. Head down to his body to grab the key and you can now make your way back up to where you dropped off the balcony to the door there. Use the key to go through and you will have another puzzle on your hands. For this puzzle you need to flip the paintings so that there are 6 people being shown, problem is that each switch you press flips more than one painting. To make life easier, the solution is 2,3,1 and 4. Press ok after you have it and a door will be revealed. You can also shoot the deer head on the left wall for a jewel.

Go through the door and you will come to a room that loads up with enemies. Take out the first rush of them easily enough with a grenade or two and then make your way up the stairs to find the crossbow monks. When you get up there, two panels will open with rpg monks. Head to the right side of the center of the room and there will be a red button. Press it to deactivate the security and a platform will rise in the center. Head over to the left side of the room and go through the door there to find a vase at the end of it. Smash it and press the button there to extend a bridge to the center platform. Make your way back out and kill the rpg monks on the platform and open the chest to get the goat ornament. When you have it, head over to the door next to the red button you pressed to deactivate the security and go through to save at the typewriter. Make your way to the end of the hallway and go through the door on the left.

Follow the hallway past the birds and the fountain to the bridge that has barrels blocking the path. Smash them to get past and when you reach the large doors you will get a call from Salazar about the garden maze. The maze really isn? all that difficult to get lost in since it really isn? that big and you have a map of it. The two pieces you need of the moonstone are both where the large statures are. The first is on an elevated platform that you need to go up stairs to reach. From there you can see the other statue to the left in the corner. To get to that statue you will need to go over the stair platform in the center of the garden. There are a few dogs roaming around the maze but they aren? too tough. Be careful once you have both pieces of the stone since as soon as you are about to go up the stairs to leave, you will be attacked by three dogs at once from the bushes. Once they are dead, go back through the gate by jumping off the platform to the left and head up the stairs to the door that requires the pieces. Combine them and enter to watch a scene and end the chapter section.

Chapter 3-3 :

As the chapter begins, you are in the room you just had the scene in. Use the typewriter to the right and head through the door there. Follow the hallway around to the dining room and read the plaques on the walls. Walk to the far end of the room and you can ring the bell there to turn over a picture. Shoot the wine bottle on the picture and it will open up the gate door around the corner. Before you go into the room there though, head back down the hall a bit and make a left through the rooms there to get some more goodies from the barrels. Head back when you are done and go through the gated door to the treasure chest in the center. When you approach it, a cage will fall and another blind enemy like you fought before will jump in with you.

Avoid him and shoot the lock on the cage three times to blow the door open. Run out and immediately around to the other side so that no one in the cage gets out. Kill everyone outside and then take down the blind guy as you did before. When he is dead, grab the hourglass from the chest and head out the door on the left. You can also head down the hallway on the right where the painting is to grab some magnum ammo if you have it. Go through the door to the next room and it will be nice and blue. Walk forward and snipe the three monks down below and climb down the ladder. Flip the lever there and a wall will raise up behind you making a bridge to the door on the far side.

Head back up the ladder and some enemies will pop out. Kill them and head across the walkway and shoot the lamp above the monks heads that come through the door. When they are toast, head to the left into the next area and there will be a crossbow monk at the far left firing at you from a window. You can hop down to the floor and grab an rpg and some goodies from the glass case in the center. When you have what you want, run up the stairs and kill the monks there. Break the lock on the door and go through to be back out where you were previously. Head back to the left across the walkway again and this time go through the door at the end. Follow the stairs up and there will be a merchant and a typewriter there. Save and go through the door to end the chapter section.

Chapter 3-4:

After the scene with Luis, walk around the perimeter of the room and smash the vases to find rifle ammo. Once you have it, walk down the steps to the center of the room and shoot the braces that are holding Ashley. Make sure you shoot the outside edges though since you can hit her if you aren? careful. When she is free, some monks will enter and go after her. Take shits at them to keep them away from her. When they are dead, she will run to the door and find it locked. Now some more monks will enter. Kill them all as well and the red robed one will have the key she needs around it? neck. When he? dead, she?l grab it and go through the door. Now you are in control of her. Save at the typewriter dead ahead and run down the hall. There will be a monk in here but you can only attack it by throwing lamps at it. Run away from it and use the crank on the wall to open the gate. Run through the gate and use the lever on the other side to close it before he can get you. In this room there will be two cranks to turn so toss a couple of lamps at the monk in here and get cranking.

When the passage is open, go up it and make a right. Follow the corridor to the end and enter the door there. Enter the room and push the bookcase on the right side to reveal an alcove that has a switch. Press it and the red gate will open. Crawl through and at the end of that corridor will be another switch. Press it and the white gate will open. Go through there and grab the stone tablet off the mantle. Press the button next to you there and go back to the switch that was behind the bookcase. Press it and you will be able to go through the second red gate and through the door behind it. Enter the passage there and around the corner will be suits of armor. Now you will be faced with a tile puzzle where you need to move each piece into position to form a coat of arms picture. There really is no easy way to tell you how to do this since you need to move the tiles around until you have the picture completed and the bottom right hand corner empty.

When you have the puzzle solved like that, place the stone tablet in the empty slot and the door in the far side will open. Also the knights in the room and hallway will come alive. Enter the next room and grab the Salazar family insignia and the serpent ornament and make your way back out. Stay away from the knights and run down the hall the way you came. When you reach the knights in the hallway, you will need to perform a button combination to dodge their attacks. Sneak past 3 of them and you will come out to the room you were in earlier. Head down the hall to the large room with the pedestal to the left and place the family insignia on it. Turn the Dias and a secret passage will open up. Climb up the ladder and head to the end of the hall and the chapter will be completed.
