Before you begin the game, there are a few simple things to always remember when playing through each mission. Always stay low, prone or use cover. You can’t take a lot of hits and in most missions you have a very large number of enemies to face. Also remember to save often and almost always after you complete certain lengthy objectives. Saving often will save you large headaches in some of the defend missions where you have to fight wave after wave of enemies. For each mission you can choose which weapons you want to take along, but for this walk through, all the weapons used were the defaults offered at the mission start. One final thing is that when you see gun emplacements and stationary guns, have your team mates man them. They are pretty damn good shots.

Airfield:

As the mission starts, head your way south into the opening into the airbase. When you enter, you will get a call to take out the machine gun nests on the right side. Zoom in to take a better look at them and take out the way. Once they are down, head forward to the emplacements and take out the enemies on the left side around the corner. Once you clear the area, a chopper will appear and you will need to take it down before advancing. Either use the RPG on it or the machine gun nest you just cleared out. Watch it crash and burn and continue east. Move past the crates and boxes and kill the few enemies there.

As you make your way past them, you will get a call to take out the enemy snipers in the air control tower. Head north around the corner of the building to the opening in the opposite wall and kill the rush of enemies there. When the open area there is cleared out, head through it and work your way to the front of the control tower. As you reach the white fuel tank, another rush of enemies will come from behind it and attack. Kill them and as you get closer the tank and fire off a rocket to destroy it. Grab the ammo from the crate across from it and continue past them, past the crates and work towards the airplane in the hanger.

As you get closer another chopper will swoop in for you to destroy. Blow it up with a rocket and continue past the plane to the British troops. Make your way forward with them up the ramp in the wall and through the destroyed rubble to the building on the left. Use the crates on the corner for cover and heads for the red arrow. As you get closer, more enemies will appear and you will need to mow them down as they rush out. When they are down, you will get the objective of securing the HQ. Head for the next red arrow after they are dead by heading south down the ramp and into the hanger. Kill the enemies as you enter and work your way over to the Jets. Shoot the refueling truck located behind the jump jets and it will take out the two jets there. When they are blown, the mission will end.

Pagoda:

As you start this rather short mission, head forward and you will be told to set some demo charges at the base of the bridge. As you walk forward, take out the enemies along the river bank and on top of the bridge. As you reach the bridge, place the charge on the legs of it and run away. As it blows up, continue down the river and head for the village. Take out the enemies that appear as you approach. Continue going south east to the blue arrow. When you get close to it, a chopper will fly in with reinforcements. As it drops them off, head to the position and clear it out. Head south down the street to make sure they are all cleared and head east into a courtyard. As the enemies attack from all sides, mow them down and work to the opening at the south. Go through and take out the two enemies hiding in the bushes there and go east.

Follow the path up the slope through the archway and enter the pagoda area. Now your objective will be to defend it while you wait for the cavalry to show up. Enemies will appear through each of the openings to the east and fire at you from the trees and bushes outside. Pop them as you see them and grab some ammo from the crate there if needed. Once you have defended the Pagoda well enough from the oncoming enemies, you will get a mission objective to head for the extraction chopper. Make your way towards the blue arrow. Fight off the enemies that appear in the forest area as you run towards it and wait for the chopper to land and your team to arrive to the mission will end.

Ambush:

Watch the opening scene and when you are back in control you will have some night vision goggles to play with. Throw them on head west through the forest and start to clear the area of tanks of enemies. Watch out for tank fire as well as enemies. Take out the enemies manning the guns on the trucks and follow the road west. Take out any tanks or trucks with the RPG if need be and you will need to head back up through the forest to hit the re-supply point to get more ammo. When you have restocked, finish off the convoy vehicles and you will get new orders to advance the north east to finish off some more enemies. Head for the red marker and wipe out the crowd of enemies that will be along the way.

When you have them toasted, you will get another update to kill some more approaching enemies. Continue North East with the NVG’s on and kill the enemies along the forest path. Use the radar to detect their positions and clear out the area as you move to the objective. Once you clear out the second wave of enemies, you will get a third objective to go and clear out another platoon of soldiers in the North East. Once they are wiped out as well, you will get an objective to destroy the inbound enemy chopper. Load up an RPG rocket and take it out or head all the way back to the re-supply if you run out of rockets and run like mad so the chopper doesn’t get you. When you have destroyed the chopper, the mission will end and you will watch the cut scene.

Destroyed City:

As the mission begins, you need to destroy the armor in the area so that the medical convoy can roll through. Make your way north and you will be told that there are some enemies there to take out. Give them a friendly hello with your bullets and head west to come to a tank. Lock on it and press the white button to call in an airstrike to destroy it. Go north and then east after it is destroyed. Around the corner will be some enemies and an APC to take down. Call in the air strike for it and continue east through the rubble. Your new objective here will be to destroy an enemy vehicle in the courtyard. Shoot the enemies and use cover as the tank rolls past. Clear the area of the many enemies that show up and when they are toast, call in an air strike on the tank.

Once the air strike team is ready for another attack, head forward and north and an APC will roll in. Take it out with another airstrike and make your way east to the next target. As the team makes it way down the street, take out the enemies that fire from the sides and lock on the APC when you see it. Once it’s toast, you will get a warning of hostiles to the Northeast of your position. Use the stationary gun there and mow them down as they approach. When no more are coming head north to the buildings and head east around the corner. Your next target will be a stationary APC, but you’ll need to fight through some more foot soldiers to get there.
