Mercenaries Walkthrough
Some help with General Song and his dirty deck of war criminals.

Introduction

As the game starts, pick your merc (I chose Jennifer) and follow the yellow circles on the map as you walk around the cargo plane. Move to each one to get your PDA, M67 grenade and M4 Carbine. Once you have them, hop in your Hummer and hop out the back of the plane. Follow the road to the first road block and clear out the enemies there by hoping out of your jeep. Once they are wiped out, hop back in the Hummer and continue down the road. When you come across some Allies being assaulted by some SK soldiers, stop and help the Allies and clear out the SK. Once they are toast, hop back in the Hummer and honk the horn by pressing O and the soldiers will run over to you. Drive them back to the Allied HQ and enter when you reach it.



Now since the story line of the game is to capture each of the cards in the deck of 52, each mission won't give you a card. It will however give you intel to find the location. The location of each card will pop up on the map when you are near their location. You can complete the contracts in any order you like as they appear but getting the loose end cards is up to you. They aren't necessary to move onto the next suit after you have gotten the Ace. When you look at your deck screen, it will show you which cards you have intel on with a mall blue mark on the corner. Those cards will appear on the map when you get near their positions, which you need to search for.

Clubs



Ante Up - Allies:

After the speech from Garret in the briefing room, walk up to him to accept the mission of finding the 2 of clubs. Once you do, you will be back outside. Hop back in the Hummer and honk for your pals to come over. When they are loaded up, head north and to the east, along the roads towards the club symbol on the map. Drive through the few road blocks and up the slope to the top of the hill there. When you reach the top, a short scene will show you where the target is. Jump out and head over to him and either subdue him or take him out. Clunk him with the square button and then call in an evac with the chopper. Toss the red smoke and wait for it to arrive. Grab the 2 of clubs and carry him over to the chopper.



Toss him in and you will have a new objective. Quickly head to the north west corner and you will see two large artillery guns there firing into the air. Use the surgical strike command you just got and focus the laser on each of the guns until they are bombed and destroyed. Once they are, grab your troops in the Hummer and head back to the Allied HQ. After you return to the Allied Headquarters, talk to the guard and then Garret and he will tell you about the deck of 52 and who you can and can't capture. He will also tell you to get more info on them. Head back outside and on the map you will see the North Korean flag. Grab a vehicle and head there. When you enter it, talk to Buford and he will tell you that Park needs some help. Talk to him to accept the contract and head outside.



Head there by hopping in a truck and talk to the door man of the HQ.



Foothold - Russian:

After the Russian is done talking, accept the contract to steal the troop transport. When you get back outside, you will have the bonus objectives of destroying the machine guns as well. You might as well do the bonus missions as they make the stealing of the truck a lot easier. Follow the map to the teal markers and machine gun down the men operating the first gun. When he's dead, arm the c4 and plant it at the gun with R1. Run away and press it again to detonate it. Once the first gun is destroyed, go and destroy the next two as well. Once they are down, enter the compound and grab the truck from inside the large main building. You can also smash open the crates that line the room here to find some nifty weapons like the RPG. Once you have the truck, head out the opposite way the truck was facing and make a right. Go to the street and drive to the yellow marker on the map. Enter the garage there and park inside to complete the mission. Head your way to the red Chinese flag on the map and enter the HQ when you get there.



Pest Control - Chinese:

After you reach the Chinese HQ enter and talk to the chief inside. After you accept the mission and are back outside, you will receive the Artillery Strike support to add to your collection. Head to the right and grab the type 89 APC and head for the yellow circle on the map. When you get close to the marker, you will get a call from your contact saying she has received an email asking that the Barracks be taken out as well. Each of the Barrack will be highlighted green and you will need to use Artillery strikes on each one to take them out. Make your way to each one if you wish and destroy each or head up the hill to the east to find the children's museum. Call in the Artillery Strike when you are next to it and toss the smoke grenade beside it. Run away as the show starts and you will complete the mission. Hop in a vehicle and take off. Now that the mission is over, there will be the Russians, Allies and the rest of the HQ's available to you. Since the Chinese is closest, let's hit there first.



No One Will Ever Know - Chinese:

After talking to the Chinese, it seems they want a hit put out on three Russians. You will need the sniper rifle for this mission so grab it from the crate marked in front of you and then hop in a vehicle for the long drive. Start your way to the yellow marker and eventually when you get closer you will be shown the positions of all three Russians. You are supposed to kill all three with out being caught and noticed but for the life of me I could never get away with it. I was always caught. The three enemies are easy to spot since their yellow circle and arrow give them away quite easily in the dark fog of the city. Once you pop all three, head to the center of the city to meet your contact and have a chat with him. Also on you map will be the location of the four of clubs just outside the city. Drive over there after you have completed the mission and grab him. Toss him into a truck or car and drive off to a non-combative area and call for the evac to get him out of there. Now you should be close to the South Korean HQ, so make your way there for your next contract.



A Proper Function of Government ·South Korea:

Now you are to make your way to the Chinese airport and snag a SK agent form the grips of the Chinese. Make your way to the marker after you grab the suppressed SMG from the crate in front of you at the HQ and jump in the jeep beside it. Drive your way to the airport and before you get there, you should get a call telling you where the Eight of Clubs is. Since it's on the way, stop and take him out and call for an extraction to remove him. Once he is gone, continue to the airport and along the way west, you should get another call that there is another card nearby. Head for it and you will find that it is the three of clubs. Take out the surrounding enemies and capture him. Call in the evac and get back to going to the airport. Now that you are clear to head to the airport and hopefully still have your Chinese jeep, make your way into the airport through the gate that automatically opens and you will now need to start searching the three yellow markers for the agent. When you reach one, you will be told right away if he is there or not. If he isn't, quickly drive to the next. When you do find him, either honk to get him or run over and tell him to follow you. Once you have him in your car, immediately leave the airport and head straight for the drop off point at the SK HQ.



A Farewell to Kings ·South Korea:

Since you are already at the SK HQ, enter it for another contract and they will need you to get to the airport and blow up three sets of three missiles. It sure sounds a lot easier than it is. When you reach the airport, drive up the hill to the entrance and steal the tank there. Once inside it, reverse and start to take out the towers that have the RPG soldiers and the closest set of missiles on the right. When they are dead, drive to the next set and take out any more towers that are close and the other tank if it is near you. If not, focus on the missiles and fire away. Notice the choppers across from the missiles as well. Once you finally get all nine of the missile to explode, you will be told to hang around until the location of the king of clubs can be found. Ignore that and run and jump in a chopper. Once you are in it, you will be told that he is on the roof. Fly over to him and land your chopper properly on the roof. Run down the roof to his position and knock him senseless. Grab him and head up to the top flat part of the large blue roof and call for an evac. Once it comes, toss the card on and head back to your chopper to escape the area.



Gimme My Money - Russians:

After you are done there, you can make your way to the Russian mafia HQ and you will come across another card on the way. Grab the six and continue to the Russian HQ. Once you get there talk to Sergei and the contract will be take a chopper to retrieve a package that the Chinese have stolen from the mafia. This is really one of the easiest mission so far. Fly over to the yellow marker on the map and drop the winch by pressing down on the D pad. Pick up the crate and rise up. When every one is running around below, simply fire a missile at the Chinese leader to kill him. Now all you need to do is fly the package back to the warehouse and drop it off and then land the chopper at the garage. Easy as pie.



Bait and Switch - Russians:

Since you are still near the Russians, head back to the HQ and you will get another contract from them. This time they want you to take some Russian troops with you to go pick up a vehicle called the Frog7 carrier. You don't really need to steal it since it is just a bonus mission tagged on the Jack of Clubs mission, but while you're there you might as well. Head to the area after you grab the troops and the truck and make your way past the train station. When you reach the objective, kill the guards and the Russians will run over to it and jump in. As they start to drive it back to their HQ, you will need to clear out the tanks at the train station so that they can pass. If you don't have an RPG then get back there ASAP and hijack the tank and blow up the other. Once the Frog is free, head to the rear of the station and on the far side of the train to find the Jack of Clubs. Knock him out and toss him in the closest vehicle. Start driving down the road to a clear spot and pull him out as you call for an evac. When he is taken away, you will complete the mission.



Out of the Woodwork - Allies:

Now you would be able to go after the Ace but since you still have some missions left, lets get those over with. Head to the Allies HQ and talk to Garret. When you leave the HQ you will need to go and find the three bunkers that lead to tunnels and have the surgical strikes take them out. All three are along the road to the west of the AN HQ. When you reach the first bunker, hop out of the truck and clear the area out of Koreans that are attacking. When you finally have enough time, load up the laser and place the surgical strike. When it goes off, hop back in the truck and continue west and up the slope on the left side of the road. From up here, clear the area out and then blast the two bunkers below. You will need to spend some cash on the third strike but it'll be worth it for the intel. After they are all toast, the mission is complete.



Under New Management - Chinese:

For this last Chinese mission of clubs, you need to make your way over to Nampo and grab yourself a heavy weapon vehicle such as a tank, or a chopper to get around quicker. You need to take out 6 NK agents in the small vicinity that they are in and then the Queen of spades will appear on your map. When you reach Nampo, ditch the jeep from the Chinese base and hop in a tough vehicle. Roll through to the small city place where the 6 are gathered and start firing to your hearts content. Blow them all the hell up and the Queen will be visible at the docks. Make your way there and run around the containers until you see him. Pop him and then carry him out to your vehicle and drive to a safe evac point.



Bringing Down the House ·Ace of Clubs: After you complete the previous mission, you will be able to go after the Ace of Clubs. This mission isn't overly difficult, but it is long and if you happen to die while securing the Ace, you'll kick yourself pretty hard. For the first part of the mission, there are three signal Jamming trucks around the island that you need to destroy. There are plenty of ways of destroying them but the easiest seems to be C4 of just getting a tank and blowing the snot out of them. Once you have the three trucks destroyed, you have th e bonus objective of clearing out the LZ for AN troops to land. If you do this objective, then it makes the extraction of the Ace a lot easier to do. Clear out the 6 or so soldiers that are marked with green arrows and then make your way back to Song Tower. When you get there, stay a good distance away from it and use the Bunker Buster laser and point it at the tower. Wait and the bombers come in and destroy the tower and reveal where the Ace is. Run over to his as he flees and either clunk him or shoot him. If you clunk him, grab his body, toss it in your vehicle and drive back to the LZ that you cleared out for a safe Evacuation. Once the ace is off, the mission and ends and the Clubs are done.

Diamonds



Escort Service - Chinese:

Start out at the Chinese HQ and you will be sent out on an escort mission of sorts. Head south in the hummer and eventually you will come to a big road block. Hop out of the hummer and call for an artillery strike near the blockade and head back to the hummer. When the road is clear, continue through and grab the Chinese agent along the side of the road. Just up ahead will the bonus objective of destroying the tents. Hop out of the hummer again and tell the agent to stay put. Run up to the area of tents and toss another artillery strike there. When everything is toast, hop back in the hummer with the agent and roll on through. It's pretty much smooth sailing to reach the drop off point from here on out except for one part where two jeeps would always smack into me head on killing the agent. When you make the turn after the tents, watch for the second set of two jeeps and avoid them. Once you do, drive to the yellow circle and drop of the agent to complete the mission.



Persuasion - Chinese:

For this mission, you are going to be pissing off a whole lot of SK's. Drive to the yellow marker on the map and there will be a bunch of Chinese soldiers standing around with yellow markers on them. The bonus objective here is to keep them alive while you take out the invading SK's. Take up a post at one of the guns and wait as the timer counts down to initialize the attack. Once the counter hits zero, the Sk will arrive and you need to start opening fire on them. Keep firing at them even though the crosshair will be blue and kill them as they arrive. Eventually you will need to take out the SK armored APC that will roll in. Take it out with grenades, rpg or a tank and you will complete the mission as well have the SK's right angry at you.



Knock Knock ·Chinese:

For this mission you need to head down to the NK base to the south preferably in some heavy equipment. When you get there, you will either need a NK vehicle to sneak through the gate, or be destructive like me and run up to it and blast it with some C4. Once you enter the compound, there will be jamming trucks that will block your signal to call in air strikes as well as five artillery guns that you need to destroy. In the rear center, there will be a helicopter pad with a lot of goodies underneath that you can run to when you need the help. Run up to each of the artillery guns and either destroy them with C4 or grenades or even the rpg if you have it with you. You can destroy the signal jamming trucks instead and then call in air strikes if you would rather do it that way, but I prefer blowing stuff up myself. Once all 5 guns have been destroyed, the King will be spotted and he will be marked on your map. Run to his position and chances are he will be in a tank. Hijack it, to flush him out, and then chase after him as he runs. Clunk him to capture him and then go grab a vehicle and toss him in. High tail it out of there to a signal area where you are clear to call for an evac. Once he is rescued, lets head to the SK's since they hate us so much right now.



Hot Time in Nampo ·South Korea:

For this mission, you need to make your way to the city and destroy the three fuel depots there. They are easy to deal with but the tricky part is destroying the 10 fuel trucks that are driving around the area. If you destroy them all before the seven minutes counts down, then you will be free of choppers that chase you around. If not then you will have to deal with them as well. The best way around this mission is to grab yourself a tank from the lower section near the docks and use it to take out the fuel trucks as they appear. Once they are down, then work on the fuel depots and you will have the mission completed.



First Principles - South Korea:

The first part of this mission is pretty simple but the second part can get a little frustrating. First you need to head to the downed aircraft and destroy it and find the pilot. Head outside the HQ and hop in the hummer to the left. Start your way to the down aircraft location and drive up to it. Hop out of your car and shoot the RPG soldier on the right side. Take his RPG is you don't already have one and blast the downed aircraft twice to blow it up good. Once it has been destroyed, you'll get a call telling you that the pilot has been taken and is enroute to the Black wall fortress. Jump back in your hummer and high tail it to the yellow marker on the map that resembles the pilot. When you catch up to the truck, pull in front of it and stop to pull over the truck. Get out and watch that the truck has indeed stopped so it doesn't run you over. Hi jack it and make sure you honk to get the pilot back in. More then one time the pilot got out as I drove away and I ended up running him over. Get him in the truck and drive back to Ichon airbase and stop in the yellow circle to complete the mission.



Master of None ·South Korea:

For this mission you need to head to the black wall fortress and enter it to take out the artillery guns there that are shelling Seoul before the body count reaches 25,000. Hop in a hummer and start your way to the fortress the same way you went in the previous mission to get the pilot. When you reach the fortress, barrel through the front gate and keep going till you reach the bridge. Don't cross and get out of your vehicle. Head up the hillside on the left and take out the gun there with some c4. Right next to it along the same ledge will be another gun to take out as well. Now from this ledge you can taker out all the rest of the guns except for one. Use the stealth strikes and gunships to take them out and then head back down the hill to you vehicle.



Cross the bridge and the last gun will be atop the structure ahead of you. Quickly jump in the chopper that in waiting there before some one else takes it and fly up to the gun. Fire a missile at it to destroy it and you will be told that there is one more gun to take out. This big momma gun is hiding in the rear of the fortress and can only be taken out with the satellite airstrike. Lock on to it with the overhead view and it will blow sky high. Once it does blow, the Jack will be down on your map. Run over and grab him and work on a way to drive him to a clear extraction. It's a lot harder to get out of the fortress then it was to get in, so you might want to just pop him and verify him. Once you get out, head for the Russians.



Playing the Odds - Russia:

Once you talk to the Russian Mafia, they will want you to the North Korean base and destroy the South Koreans that are invading. There is a Chinese officer that you can bribe along the way to get yourself some artillery barrages to make life easier, so go grab him first and bribe him the money. Once you do that, head to the NK base and start mowing down all the SK's you see along the way. You will come to a roadblock to get you a fancy tank to use as well. Once you get past the road block, continue to the base and enter. You can either start shooting at NK's and then back off so that the NK's and SK fight it out themselves, or you can just start blasting all the SK's you see. You can do it however you like although waiting for them to fight it out take a lot longer. Once the meter is empty, the SK's will have retreated and you will complete the mission.



Omerta - Russia:

Head back to the Russians for the next contract and they will want you to off a spy in their ranks. Since he doesn't know who it is, he wants you to off all of them. There will be four to take out so head to the first marker and equip the sniper rifle. Pop the target with the yellow arrow over his head from a good distance and the next target will appear. He will be a prisoner in a vehicle, so chase after it and commandeer it. Drive it to a secluded spot. Get out and kill the snitch. Head along the train tracks there and on the right you will see a helicopter and the third snitch near it. Snipe him as well and you will have one left, a tank commander. Drive to the marker on the map and get ahead of the tank. Hop out and snipe the commander manning the gun and all four of them will be dead ending the mission. Head back to the Russians.



It's Who You Know - Russia:

For this simple mission, you need to meet with a journalist who will tell you where the queen of Diamonds is hiding. Hop in a car and go to meet the journalist. He will be in the center of a firefight, so drive up to him and honk to get him in your car. Once he is in, drove to the yellow marker and continue to drive to the few next ones when the journalist tells you where to go. When you arrive at the hospital, the Queen will appear as the hospital collapses. Kill the journalist for the bonus and chase after the queen. Either kill of clunk him and get him to a car. Drive to a quiet spot for extraction and to complete the mission. Now you will be able to go to AN HQ and get the ace contact, but since there are still other cards out there, complete the AN missions first to get the intel on them.



Embedded ·Allies:

For this mission, all you need to do is pick up a journalist and then transport him to 5 destinations before the time runs out between each. When you reach each spot, he will jump out of the car and run over to take some film. Follow him over since he takes his time getting back to the car. Let him jump in and drive to the next destination. After the fifth one, you will just drop him off at a train station and the mission will end.



Downed Bird in enemy Nest ·Allies:

For this mission you need to head to a crash site and grab three crash survivors from the middle of a battle that is raging there. You have ten minutes to get to the airmen as well as three anti air guns to destroy as a bonus objective. When you leave the Allied base, head west and then north up the dirt path there. Drive over the bridge and then head east and north to another dirt path that will lead to the survivors. Keep in mind that you can't that bridge back after you rescue them since it will get blown out when you approach it. When you reach the second dirt path, blaze up the hill past the tanks and trucks to the top flat part. From here you can start to clear out the area of enemies to give your targets a clear run to your hummer. Make sure you did bring a hummer since you need to be able to load three people into your car. Also from here you can look around at the anti air guns and use strikes to take them out. Once you have them down and the men loaded in, burn back down the hill and all the way around to back to the allies·base. Now that you have all the contracts completed, go out and drive around to look for the rest of the cards. They will all appear on the map when you get close to them. If you don't want to or already have got them, then you can head straight to the Ace mission.



The Guns of Kirin-Do ·Ace Contract:

For this ace mission, it can be tricky one. The main part of it is to not get your identity revealed as you drive to the first part of the mission. When the chopper drops you off, call in for a North Korean vehicle and drive through the woods to the road. Hang a right and stay away from the base as you drive past it. If you are going to get recognized, it's here. Drive past and continue through the road block to the radiation zone. Cross the bridge and make a right and continue along the road until you come to the base at the bottom of the dirt road that will lead to the prototype gun. Get out of your vehicle across the road and call in a carpet bombing to clear the area out. When it's clear, drive your vehicle up the dirt path to the top of the hill.



Commandeer the tank there and clear out the area. When everyone is toast, enter the gun by using the door on the left side and take two shoots at the super gun below. When it's toast, hop out and call in another North Korean vehicle if yours has been blown. Hop in and drive back down the hill to not get recognized and make your way to the ace's marker. When you reach it, grab the tank that is parked at the front and use it to clear the area out. The ace won't go far so just watch that you don't blow him up. When the battle is run down, hop out and go grab the ace. If there are still soldiers left, then you will need to grab a vehicle and drive the ace to a secluded spot to call in the evac. I had to drive him a good distance to get away from enemies but after a while, you'll get it. When he is captured, you are off to the next suit.

Hearts



Inspect and Verify ·Allies:

For this mission, you need to escort 4 weapon inspectors around to three different sites. These sites are the Yongbyan Processing Plant and two Reactors. As you start the mission, grab the APC beside the inspectors and honk to pile them in. Drive to the first yellow marker and as you approach in, start to clear out the area with the APC's big guns. Destroy the two tanks and enter the compound. Park on the yellow circle and let out the inspectors. Kill any remaining enemies until the meter fills green and the inspectors are ready to go. Honk to load them in and roll to the next yellow marker. Use the same technique to clear the area out before entering and then let out the inspectors at the circle. When you are ready, head to the last one and destroy the chopper on the ground and the one that will appear in the air. Once they are toast, let out the inspectors at the circle. When they are finally finished, roll back to the Allies base to complete the mission.



Reactor Retrieval ·Allies:

For this simple mission, you have ten minutes to reach the base where the inspectors are being held hostage. Grab a sniper weapon at the start and drive your way to the reactor where you just where, When you get near the base, climb up the slope across from the base where the hostages are and snipe the two soldiers with the green arrows over their heads. When they are dead, head to the base and hijack a tank. Destroy everything in the area and grab the transport truck in the far corner. Honk for the inspectors to jump in and you will be told there are roadblocks set up. There will just be one on the way to the drop off point so blow right through it and past the tank there. When you reach the yellow marker, drive around the allies·barricades to the yellow circle and park to complete the mission.



Repo Man ·South Korea:

Now let? head to South Korea for those missions. The first mission is to retrieve a piece of equipment from the Russians before they disassemble it. You have 5 minutes to get there and the added bonus objective of returning it to the SK base. Grab a Russian jeep along the way tot base and you will be able to jut drive right in. When you enter the compound, grab the KIFV and head to the left. Roll up the hill and then crash through the fence to escape. There will be an rpg soldier there so watch you don? get nailed too many times. If you do, you will still pass the mission, but will need another vehicle to get back to the SK HQ.



Clear Channel ·South Korea:

This is another simple mission that will be easy to pass as long as you don? get too close to the enemies. You need to head north to the first path there and destroy 5 of the garrison tents along the path. Use whatever you like to destroy them but the stealth bomber strike can hit from very far away and will leave you relatively safe as the area get cleared Once you pass the third tent, then there is more opposition in the form of a tank. Hijack it quickly and then you can use it where it is to destroy the two last tents. Once they are toast, roll on out and take out the helicopter that will follow you. Once all the 5 tents are destroyed the mission ends and you are free to go back to the SK HQ.



The Acid Queen ·South Korea:

Ah the Queen of Hearts. For this mission you need to head over to the chemical plant and destroy it. Hop in the light attack chopper there and fly over to the road just south of the facility. If you fly right to it, the SAM? in the area will shoot you down. Land on the road and grab a NK vehicle. You will also get an email about the 4 SAM? in the area that will be a bonus objective if you destroy them. Roll through the front gate of the facility and you can start taking out the SAM?. Use c4 or an rpg or whatever means you like to destroy them all and then focus a carpet bombing on the chemical facility itself from a safe distance away. Once the facility is destroyed the Queen will be present. Go and take him down and take him behind a building to call for the evac without a lot of interference.



In the Neighbourhood ·Russian:

Seem good old Sergei doesn? like the SK? setting up shop near his territory. So you need go and wipe out the 5 hideouts that have been set up. Grab the chopper and fly over to the area. Locate the lower far right target and equip the rockets. Take out the truck there jamming the signal and then you can land on a hill and take out the hideouts around you with the satellite weaponry. You may need to blow one up because you won? be able to reach it, but rpg? to c4 to tanks will be able to take it out no problem. Once they are all toast, the mission is over.



106 Miles to Sinuiji ·Russia:

As the mission starts, grab the sports car and then head for each package from one to the next. In my opinion the sports car sucks for handling and even a hummer drives better for this mission, but you do get a bonus if you finish the picks with the sports car still intact. You have a countdown on the side that will lower in price the longer you take. If it reaches zero, then you fail the mission. With each pick up you make, you will get an added amount of money to the total giving you more time. Watch for the obstacles on the road and especially in the tunnel when you are zipping through. The second last package, you will have to hop over a wooden fence and get to the contact there behind a rock. Once you have it, burn to the last marker which will be at the end of a pier to get more money. Once you reach him, the mission ends.



Raw Materials ·Russia:

For this mission, you need to take out the command bunker and find the King of Hearts. When you reach the area where the command bunker is, there will be 4 SAM? set up around the area for bonus objectives. You don? have to take them all out so if you choose not too, then just drive up the dirt road, past the guards to the top of the hill. There will be a jamming truck to the far corner of the rear of the building that is blocking your signal, so use some c4 on it and then call in the air strike to blow up the building. Once the building blows, the king will run out and jump in a jeep. Kill the gunner on the jeep and then hijack it. When the King runs, get out and chase him and clunk him or kill him, your choice. Drive him back up to where the command center is if you have gone too far away from it and call in the evac.



Manipulate the Data ·Chinese:

For this mission you?l need to pay off the Chinese to get in their good graces and then download codec data and return it to Chinese HQ. Exit the HQ and grab a vehicle and drive to the Tenement ruins. Don? kill ant Chinese or else you will fail the mission. When you reach the ruins, you can try to sneak in stealthy like or kill everyone in sight, but really the easiest way is to just run straight through the area and up the slope to the yellow marker. Kill the worker there and down load the info. As soon as you have it, grab the nearest vehicle and high tail it back to the Chinese HQ. No fancy trickery needed.



Exit Strategy - Chinese:

This mission can be a toughy once you get inside the roadblock of the city. The main objective is to destroy the SK command center that located in the far right corner of the city as you enter. The other bonus objectives are to destroy the two other building marked green. Before you destroy any buildings however, you?l need to take out the two jamming trucks that are located in the city centers. At the start of the mission, call in for a SK vehicle and drive to the city. Roll through and head to the right and go to the right most flashing dot on the map. Pull up to the jamming truck there and c4 it. Hop back in your vehicle and drive to the next. If you got caught blowing it up then just blow up the next truck. Take out any rpg? and soldiers around and there will be plenty. Run and gun until you get somewhere safe to catch your breath. Now it? up to you if you want the extra bonus or not. Chances are that you have already killed a large amount of the cities soldiers already so the opposition will not be so strong. Take out the SK command center with an artillery strike and you will complete the mission. Head back to the Chinese HQ for the last contact before the ace.



Chain Reaction ·Chinese:

This is one of those mission that sometimes is hard and sometimes isn?. Hop in the tank at the HQ and you are off to get the Jack of hearts. Drive to the yellow heart on the map and there will be a battle raging on with lots of tanks. Also you will drive smack dab into the middle of a large radioactive area. Stay in your tank as long as you can and use the identifier to pick out the friendly tanks and enemy tanks. Blast everyone in your path and when you get close to the building that the jack is on, hop out and kill everyone in your path. Reach the Jack and clunk him and quickly carry him out since the radioactivity will slowly kill you. Get to a vehicle and drive out of the radio active zone to call in an evac and complete the mission.



Gambit ·Ace contract:

This mission is actually pretty damn simple compared to the previous ace missions. From the start, equip the sniper rifle and stay away from the main gate a bit. Snipe the enemies that you can see. There will be 2 to the right on ground and three up top. One in tower to the center and two on the ground to the left of it. The will be one final one behind trees behind the tower. Once they are toast, blow the gate with some c4 and run through to the opening on the right. Head down the ramp and you will be told to use some stealth. Bah. Run through and to the left and make your way through the pathway and the building that looks like a barn roof. Continue running through and kill the soldiers that are in your way. Enter the large building ahead of you and go up the ramp in the center. Follow the catwalk along forward and make a right at the far end. Now you will be under attack by some rpg? but you should be able to outrun them and get to the open door way at the end. Enter there and head up the ramps taking out the enemies you come across. Bash open the crate along the way for full health and you will finally get to the roof. As soon as you get up there, kill the two soldiers with the ace and immediately clunk him. If you don? do it fast enough, he will escape in the helicopter and fail the mission. Clunk him and call in the evac to complete the mission and head to the next suit.

Spades



Humanitarian Effort -Allies:

A very simple mission but hard to get the bonus objective. You need to go pick up a vaccine and deliver it to the Allied base inside the Tenement Ruins. Picking up the vaccine is nothing more than driving down the road a little ways but you need to get the vaccine to the doctor at the allied camp before 10 civilians are killed, none to get the bonus. When you reach Tenement Ruins, drive through and follow the path to the Allied base. Enter it and the doctors will be running around a tent there. Catch him and deliver the vaccine to end the mission.



An Eye for an Eye ·Chinese:

Since there are no available Allies missions, head to the Chinese for the next one. Now you will need to defend the artillery for 6 minutes while the Koreans attack. Immediately head for the artillery guns and man the center one. Watch for the choppers that appear around the sun and blow them out of the sky. Eventually you will get a call saying the ground forces are moving in. Ignore them and continue to fire at the choppers. Only turn around to attack the jeeps and tanks when they start to attack you. Otherwise, keep firing at the choppers and the time will wind down quickly enough for you to pass the mission.



Chokepoint ·Chinese:

For this mission, you need to take out the freighter at the docks located on the map. Hop in the chopper and fly all the way to the freighter. When you reach it, land at the dock and hijack one of the tanks there. Clear out the area of enemies and then board the ship. Head to the right and around the corner to find the jamming device. Deactivate it and head back off the boat. When you are clear of the ship, call in artillery strike to destroy it. Next go to the air field with the chopper if it isn? destroyed yet and land near it. Grab a vehicle and drive into the airfield. When you get in, hijack a tank near the planes and destroy the rest of the tanks near you. When they are toast, focus your fire on the planes and destroy each one to complete the mission.



Two Degrees of Separation ·Chinese:

For this mission you need to fly over to the temple where the contact is located. Land behind the temple near the contact and talk to him. Once you talk to him, the Queen of spades will appear on the other side of the area. Head down stairs at the front of the temple and make a right across the bridge there to the next building to get the queen of Spades. Once you have cleared the area out of enemies sufficiently, you after the Queen and give him a clunk. Call in the evac to complete the mission and get your reward.



Escort service ·Russians:

Sergei would like you to escort Josef to the arms dealer to work something out but of course it is a trap as Sergei is ever paranoid. Drive Josef there and enter the industrial zone where the yellow marker is. Wait until Josef and the arms dealer enter the building and then the Koreans will ambush you from the truck there. Take out the troops in the truck and then three choppers will appear. Use your Anti-aircraft weapon (which you better have brought) to take them down. As they go down, an APC will show up and try to run you down. Hijack it and Josef will come out of the building about now. Honk to get him in and drive through the fence to escape the compound. Once you are free of the zone, drive back the mafia HQ to complete the mission and for one million big ones.



House Keeping - Russians:

For this mission, you?l need to kill the 4 renegade soldiers still under Sergei? power. Make your way to each of the 4 markers and use your binoculars to scope them out from afar until the renegade is pin pointed. Once he is, get a good distance away and snipe him. Do the same for the second target, which I found to be easy to take down from the train tracks. For the third target, he will be the driver of a car, but he will drive to the location of the 4th one. Follow him to where he goes in a civilian car preferably and drive up the right side of the road, up the slope there to the top. From here you can scope out both of the renegade and snipe them as well with out being seen or caught. Once all 4 are dead, head back to the Russian HQ.



Loose Ends ·Russians:

Josef knows where Sergei is and it so happens he is meeting with the Jack of Spades. Drive to the marker on the map and it will eventually turn into Sergei taking off in a car if you not disguised. If you are disguised as a NK, you can get to Sergei and kill him for the bonus objective. When you do reach him however, the Jack and the Koreans will be attacking the Mafia HQ. Head back to the city and capture and verify the Jack before the HQ is destroyed. When you get to where the jack is, jump in the closest tank and start scouring the area of enemies as quickly as you possibly can. Leave the Jack for now and concentrate on the tanks and soldiers. Once they are toast, run and grab the Jack and call in the evac to end the mission.



In and Out ·South Korea:

Easiest mission ever. Call for a chopper, fly over to where the spy is and land. Honk to have him jump in and fly back to SK HQ. No interference whatsoever and the easiest mission of the game.



BOOM! ·South Korea:

Grab the chopper that you just used and fly to the yellow marker on the map. Land at the temple and around the front at the front door. The jammer will be located there and you will need to place the C4 on it. Do so, blow it up and run back to the chopper and hop in. Fly to the bridge and over to the mountain beside the bridge. Land on the top and try not to fall off. When you get out of the chopper, call in the airstrike to destroy the bridge and the mission will be complete.



Titular Regius ·South Korea:

To capture the King of Spades, you?l need to hop through a few hoops first. There are three areas that you?l need visit before the King appears. No matter which locale you go to first, the last will always be where he is. Once you reach the third one, Visit the three locales to find him. The third will be where he is and you will need to go in after him. Once you get to the third area and his position is on the map, start to clear the area out of enemies so that an evac will be problem free. Once you have cleared it out well enough, clunk the spade and call in the chopper to complete the mission.



The Ace of Spades ·Ace Contract:

This is it. The last mission of the game and of course it? one of the trickiest and longest and is broken up into two parts. For the first part you are meant to hop in the tank ahead of you and follow the group of tanks down the road. We aren? going to do that. Call in a North Korean APC from the Merchant of Menace and you will be disguised. Now you won? need to fight any of the tanks or choppers that appear as you make your way to the prison. When you get past the first area of buildings, you will pass two tanks and continue up the path to another area of buildings. You can still use the APC and zip through the area and continue to the right when you reach the top of the hill. Continue through another area of buildings and you will come up to the prison on the left. Get out of the APC and take out the few enemies that are in front. Head to the yellow marker and you will enter the prison.



Watch the scene and afterwards you will be back outside in front of the prison. The Allies will now have control of it so there won? be any enemies around. Go hop in the APC again and continue to follow the road through the gate and around the corner. Continue driving until you get to the helicopter pads. Hop out and run up the stairs and jump in it. Now the important part is to keep the chopper in one piece. You?l need it to get to Song. Fly to the next marker and as you approach, a timer will appear and you will be told that you need to abort the launch. Fly to the right of the area and land beside the large building where the yellow marker is. Remember to make sure your chopper is in one piece. Enter the building and clear it out before using the panel to abort the launch. Once you do, Song will appear on the map on the other side of a large wall. Get back in your chopper and fly up and over the wall to where Song? position is. Jump out of the chopper and take him down to finish the final mission and end the game! Congratulations!
