Central Processing:

Make your way forward around the curved hallway and an imp will smash through the glass wall on the left side. Kill him and then go over to the console to grab the shotgun laying on it. Press the panel that says to open the security cabinet and you will get some armor. There is also a regular cabinet there that will open with code 571 to get the rocket launcher. Head out the door there and walk forward towards the pool of blood. There will be a door on the left there that will tell you that you need to find a Replacement door in Lab A. Head to the right side towards the green lit door and head through. Enter Security monitoring click on the Lab A Meeting room link and you will see a commando walking and the numbers 627. Make your way back out of the room and into the large room with the blood pool. Continue to go straight past it and around the next corner. When you reach the end of the hallway, there will be a locked door to CPU lab A. Use the code 627 from the monitor to open it and head on through. Make your way to the right and after the scene hop across the floating blocks and enter the door on the left.



Make your way to the right and there will be an elevator there. Take it up and floor and go forward and to the right again as far as you can to find another elevator. Take it up another floor and maker your way forward and go through the door on the right. Follow the hallway to the right, through the room and around to the left to get on the other side of the spikes in the floor. Go through the door at the end and go through the next room to the right around the corner. There you will see two cabinets, with one open that has the door panel in it. Be warned though, as soon as you grab the door panel, all hell breaks loose. Kill everyone quickly, especially the buggery trites and open the cabinet using code 468 from Charlie Haskell’s PDA that you picked up down stairs. Now that you have the door, make your way all the way back down and out to the door that you needed it for. When you finally get there, replace the panel and enter the room. Follow the hallway around and head to the right and you will run into Swann’s body guard. Talk to him and then make a left to the elevator. Hop in and you’ll be on your way to main processing.

Central Server Bank:

For this first part all it is really is a room that fills with enemies to give you that old school DOOM feeling. Head forward and then to the left and make your way around tot eh next room. There will be a red lit door against the left wall in the center that will open eventually, after you have killed enough enemies. Kill everyone that comes near you and keep moving because they don’t let up. When the door finally does become unlocked, enter and you’ll be at a large room. When you clear this room out of enemies as well, run across and through the door that is now open. Grab the video disk off the desk in the office and run through the next door.



When the battle with Sarge starts, as quickly as possible throw the soul cube at him from close range and then start on him with the chain gun. You want to use the chaingun because with it you can damage Sarge as well as destroy his BFG shots. Shoot his shots and then concentrate on him. When you see him fire again, focus your attack on the green ball. Be sure you don’t get too close after the initial attack as well. He’ll run you over if you’re not careful. As if that wasn’t enough, watch for the pillars in the room becoming electrified and the opening floor panels. Be very careful you don’t fall through and die. After you take Sarge down, grab his BFG and enter the far alcove where there will be a vent shaft on the left side open. Crouch through and drop down onto a pipe. Hop off to the left side and go down the stairs and enter the elevator.

Site 3 :

Walk forward and you will get attacked by a few imps and wraiths as well as a HK. Take them all out and walk to the end of the hallway. When you get there, you will be given the objective of gaining security clearance fro all site 3 areas. Head to the left to go through the door there. Make your way around and a HK will attack. Take them out and enter the door marked “garage”. When you enter the next room more enemies will spawn in. Kill the wraiths, maggots and HK’s and go through the door on the opposite side of the room on the right side. Head up the stairs to enter Artifact receiving and the room will change as an archvile appears.



Kill him and head up the stairs to the left side. Head through the door marked Lab and kill the Revenant that appears. Head up the stairs where he was and enter the door there. Make your way down the ladder on the left and head to the right. Walk up to the large screen and grab the PDA belonging to Richard Davis on the ground in front of it. Make your way along the catwalk to the other side of the room and go through the door there. Head to the end of the corridor and climb up the ladder there. Follow the red hallway along and make a left at the end. Use your flashlight and look down. Drop off the edge and you will land in Artifact research. Head left and you will come to some stone tablets where a wraith will appear.



Kill them and listen to the recording about the stones. Afterwards, enter the office on the right and make sure you don’t blow up the scientist, Pierce Rogers. After you talk to him, grab his PDA and head over to the door next to where you dropped down from above. You will also get an objective update to find the freighter control. Head back to the beginning of the level to where the friehgt loader was and hop on it. Ride it to the end and hop off. When the freighter stops, get out and walk over to the lift. You can also walk around the back of it for some ammo, armor and the chainsaw. Use the lift and you will exit site three.

Caverns 1:

When the elevator stops, jump on top of the boxes in the center of the room and kill the trites as they creep out. Head up the stairs after they are all dead and make your way around the catwalk to the door. Kill the wraiths and then head through the next few doors to come to a small office. Kill the wraiths there as well and make a left through the next door to come to Base1 Junction1. Head left after you kill the commando and take out a few more wraiths. Follow the hallway along and enter the next doors to enter the containment Monitoring room. Kill the archvile that appears and the imps and wraiths he summons. Head down the stairs and go through the next door. Kill the imps and trites in here and grab the machine gun ammo and health from the med station. Go through t door on the side wall, left from where you entered and you will get a new objective to reach the lower levels.



Make your way forward and to the right and you will come to a green panel on the front of the building. Press it to lower the ladder and climb up. When you climb up. Two caco’s will appear for you to kick their asses. Do so and jump across the gap to the yellow bars across from you. Enter the office there on the right and active the console there that unlocks the cargo lift down below. Go through the door on the right that leads to storage room 2D. Press the green panel across from where you entered to call up the lift. Hop on and ride it down to level one. Head down the stairs and over to the bed with the skeleton to grab some rockets. When you do, some trites will drop down near the lift. Kill them and then head out the door on the left. Now that the panel to the left is green, press it to call up the cargo lift. As it rises, kill the HK and the imp that appear. Hop on the cargo lift when it arrives and take a ride down. When you reach the bottom, Take out the three Hell Knights that appear and then head for the bay door on the right.

Caverns Sublevel:

Head through the next door and the catwalk around until you reach another door. Enter it and follow the tunnel to a set of stairs that lead down to a tremor filled room. Watch for the holes that open in the grating in the floor and make your way around to the right. Kill the commandos and imps there and continue to follow the corridor until you reach the cargo bay door. Open it and enter materials transfer lift. Walk forward and kill the imp and climb up the ladder on the left. Some caco’s and commandos will appear now so take them out as well. When you are in the crane, move it to the right so that the screen says 105 and then move the payload to the far end of the crane by using the control on the left side of the screen. When the payload is it the far end, walk out of the booth on the right side and climb up the ladder there to get on top of the crane. Walk to the end and then hop off to the right and then hop off again to land on the cylinders below. Grab the health there and kill the imp that appears. Walk over to the far side of the room there and enter the open door. Kill the imp and head through the door on the left. Follow the walkway around and you will come to the Personnel Transfer Station.



Head down the stairs and go to the large orange door and press the panel beside it to unlock all security doors. When you press it, the two doors on each side and the center door will open releasing a number of imps. Kill them all and enter the room to operate the panel there to call up the lift. When it comes up, there will be a HK on it. Kill him and then go down on the lift. Walk forward and head to the left. Go down the stairs there and swing around to the right to meet an archvile there. Kill him and continue to the doorway. Go to the right but kill the wraith on the left first. Enter the door at the end after you kill the imp and you will be at the very base of the crane you were just using. Hop across the lava pool on the debris and kill the commando that shows up. Enter the door that is behind him and enter the elevator to get to caverns 2.

Caverns 2:

As you move forward, be prepared for a massive attack. Two HK’s and an archvile will appear. Run and use the BFG on them to take them out quickly and grab the health around the room. There are two doors in here now, a locked one that needs a key and an open one. Enter the open door and follow the cavern tunnel around killing all the many wraiths that appear. Make your way to the ramp on the left that leads down to a table and an open area. Grab the key of the table and head back to the door that needed it. When you grab the goodies out of the room, a flood of trites will attack from the room and from the cavern tunnel. Kill them all and make your way back down the ramp to the main excavation site and head through the large door opening.



Follow the corridor along and it will eventually take you to the Levitation site which has three egg like objects floating with lights on them. Kill all the imps and wraiths that spawn in and grab the 2 video cd’s and armor from the scaffolding on the right side. Continue through the room and into the next which is called the Room of Stars. It should be called the room of trites as after the HK jumps down, a load of trites enter and attack. Kill everyone and make your way forward to the next room. As you walk along the hallway, look at the spiked rock on the floor. Look familiar? Vagary.



As you round the corner of the hallway and enter the next room, two vagaries will come running down the slope across from you and enter the room. Use the BFG if you have the ammo to at least take out one of them to make this battle a lot easier. Once one is down, then you can just use the same technique that you used to defeat her earlier on. Once they are both down along with their little babies, a large door will appear on the right side. Head over to it and go through to find a lift in the center of the room. Use the generator on the left side to light up the room and to see the ammo you can grab laying around. Once you are stocked up, jump on the lift and exit to the excavation site

Primary Excavation:

As you take a ride down, a friendly voice will talk to you. After he is done, walk off the lift and stock up on all the weapons, ammo and armor you can in here. There is a crap load to be picked up which means bad news for you. Once you have everything, head through the door way and make a right to follow the stairs all the way down to the heroes antechamber. In the next room on the left will be a large coffin of sorts. Walk past it and the wall will fall away. Continue forward and it will happen again until the floor starts to lower. When it does, go through the opening and make a left and always stay to the left until you come to a dead end room that has a brick at the far end in the form of the id Software logo.



Press it and the wall beside you will open and you can enter to grab the last PDA on the altar there. The PDA belongs to the development team of the game and is just a little thank you for playing their game. Head back out and go straight and a short scene will play showing you the mother of all bosses, the CyberDemon. To defeat him there are three things you need to do. One is stay the hell away from him. If you don’t he’ll throw you over the edge and you’ll die in the lava. Also he has a massive rocket launcher on his arm that he fires at you when you are in range. If you keep running away from him, you can keep him at a good distance and his rockets will be useless. The second is to only use the Soul Cube to attack him. It is the only weapon that does any harm to him. The third and final thing to do is to keep on killing the maggots and imps that appear around the room to replenish the soul cube.



Use the rocket launcher to kill them the fastest and easiest and keep moving while you kill them. Make sure every rocket counts and don’t miss. After you kill 5 of them, toss the cube at the Cyberdemon and then run away again. Then you can keep on killing more imps and maggots to fill it up again. You also want to keep using the run key. Since it seems you are in hell, there is no stamina drain on you and you can run for as long as you want. Use that to your advantage. If you get low on health or armor, there are some items lying about next to where you entered that you can pick up. Keep repeating that pattern on the CyberDemon and he’ll go down in no time to end the game. When he drops, sit back and watch the ending scene.
