A little help navigating the clandestine operations of the US Government facility..

Welcome to Dreamland:

As the game begins, watch the intro scene and learn your surroundings. Once you are in control, head forward and grab your pistol from the armory on the right. Once oyu have your pistol, head left to the firing range and pop off a few rounds. Once you hit the targets, you and your fellow soldier will have a contest. Nail the five targets before he does and you can continue on. Grab some more ammo from the crate to the right before you walk away. Follow the markers to the next room and follow your squad and you will pick up your scanner. Use the scanner on the patients arm and then head out when the squad takes a run. Make a left and go through the large door. When you go through, you will be told that there is a saboteur around that you need to search for.



Head through the metal door and follow the room to where the platform of tires falls. Make a left there and continue around until you see a fellow soldier get blown up. Make a right there and pop around the corner at the doorway and take some shots at the enemy soldier. When he runs, run after him. Crouch and jump through the small alley beside the firing range and make a left. Wait for the enemy to run into the far left corner and pop the tank behind him. When it blows so does he. Pick up his SMP after the scene is over and make your way back to where you first entered this area. There will be a laptop computer there that you can scan using your arm scanner. Once you have it, head back to the large door where the enemy soldier went blammo. Follow through the room back to the elevators and talk to the squad there. Once the elevator arrives, hop on and it’s time for some action.

The Hot Zone:

Make your way to the squad that is taking cover. When you talk to them, a charge of mutants will rush at you. Take them all out as they keep approaching until you are finally given the ok to proceed. When you are, go to the end of the hall and make a left to find another mutant firing an SMP at you. Take him down and watch the scene. Enter the next room that the scientist burst out of and make a right as you hit the check point. As you make your way in to the lobby, the mutants will attack from both sides here. They will attack from the burning room on one side and the balcony on the other. Keep taking them down until the door on the bottom, under the balcony opens. Once you go through, press down on the D pad to turn on your flashlight and enter the office area. Clear it out as you move to the left and you’ll find a body on a table.



Scan it and continue through and around the corner. Kill the next rush of mutants that enter from the top floor and head up the stairs. Follow the walkway around and you will come out to a large room. Make your way to the far right and you will be told to find the power generator room. Head down the ramp to the door on the left side and follow the hallway there. Head up the stairs and make your way to the end of the corridor. Enter the door on the right and the door at the end of the hall. Now you will be in the generator room and will need to divert the power. Make a right to get to the center of the room between the two generators. Run through when the electricity is heading away from you and the one stream on the ground is coming at you. Jump over it and head for the ladder on the left. If you get zapped it will do some hefty damage so be careful.



Climb the ladder and then walk out onto the catwalk and make a left. Flip the switch there when told to and then you can grab some health from the body on the right and hop over the railing to get back down to the ground. Head through the hallway and watch McCaan lose his head. Kill the mutant there and hop through the window to meet up with your team below. Now another rush of enemies will attack as you make your way to the left and up the ramp at the far end. Go through the door there and another scene will play. Enter Hallway 5 to get a checkpoint and make your way forward. You will meet up with members of another team here but most of them will get taken down by the mutants. Kill them and make your way out to the large room where you will be on a catwalk on the second floor. Kill the enemies below and enter the next room across form you with the green light. When you enter, there should be a hole in the ceiling to the right.



Make your way around to the right and grab the red key card off the table there. Also use the computer panel to the right of the large hole and you will need to report to Ramirez. Head back out of the room and down the stairs to talk to the team there. Once you do, another wave of enemies will appear. Follow the squad leader, with the green marker, to the next door and wait for it to open. When it does, head through and into the next room. Scan the jar with the little bugger in it and continue out to the next large lobby. Kill the wave of enemies here until you are told to get moving again. Once you start to take a few steps, the parasites will rush out and attack. Mow them down and then follow your squad up the stairs and into the first door on the left. When you enter, you will be told that they need a L1 access card for the door and the security room across the hall should have one.



Head over there and enter the hallway. As you round the corner, to the left will be the security door but you can’t enter just yet. Go to the right and grab the severed arm off the ground and you can enter the next room for ammo and health. Head back out and enter the security room. Place the limb on one scanner and use the other before the arm slides off. When the door opens, go through to the left and kill the mutant and grab the L1 key. Grab the weapons from the glass cases and then head back to Crispy. Give the card to Crispy and you will need to protect him from mutants for 45 seconds. Kill everything that moves and when he is ready, the door will open for you to run through.

They Get Bigger:

As you move into the next area, you will need to clear the room out of enemies. In the office to the far left is a pamphlet that you can scan for data. Once the room is clear, head up the ramp on the far side of the room and active the crane there. Now you will need to get to the door controls and open the hanger door. Climb up the ladder on the left side of the room and follow the beams across to the far side of the room. Crouch under the small openings and drop through the ceiling to enter the control room. Use the controls there and the large door will open.



Now you need to fight off the few mutants that appear around you until the scene plays. Hop down to the ground through the break in the railing and head over to the hanger door and watch the scene there. Once you are back in control, kill the mutant that jumps through the door on the left and then walk up the planks of wood there. Climb the ladder to get into the vents and follow them around killing the parasites, until you come out the other side. When you do, you will have a new objective of killing the mutant version of Crispy. Pop him a few times till he drops and then operate the elevator controls. Hop in it when it arrives and another scene will play.

The Last Stand:

Make your way forward now that you are all alone in the base. You need to hook up will team delta so get to it. Kill the few mutants in front of you and make a right down the hall. Scan the sign on the left for giggles and then enter the comm. Room on the right. Clear it out of enemies and then wait for the green objective arrow to appear. When it does, walk over to the console and activate the comm. Talk to Delta team and then head through the door on the left. Kill the spooky mutant there and head out to the catwalk. Make a right and jump down to the floor through the opening in the railing. Make a right and meet up with team Delta there. After the scene is over, you will need to help defend the bunker by taking out the mutants as they rush. Once you have taken enough out, you will be told to grab the ammo boxes for the auto turrets.



Head up the stairs behind the bunker and follow the hallway around to the ammo room. Grab all you can and the turret ammo will be at the back of the room. On your way out, hop over the boxes in the middle aisle of the shelves and there will be a document there to scan. Head back out to where the team is fighting and load the ammo boxes on to each of the turrets on each side. Once you have them both loaded in, sit back behind some cover and help the team defend the bunker for another little while. Once it gets quiet, you will be told to figure out why the power isn’t working. Head back up the stairs and into the door. Head for the door at the end of the hallway and kill the mutants that jump through. Grab the splice kit on the ground near the entrance to the room and head back out and down the stairs. Make a left when you hit the bottom and go through the smashed open vent there. Use the splice kit on the wires there and scan the document on the ground. Head back out and use the radio behind the Delta team to call to base. After you do that, you will need to follow Chew.



Head up through the center of the large room and enter the doorway on the right side. Chew will force open a door and cover you. Enter the room and make a right to the planks of wood that create a ramp. Run up to the top and continue to the far side of the room and drop down on the other side of the wall. Kill the mutants here and follow the corridor around to the room with the explosives. Grab them and then a rush of parasites will attack. Wipe them out and head up the next set of planks that allow you to get over the stack of crates. Head back out of the room into the hallway. Follow Chew back out to the main room and make a right. Give him the explosives and then head back to the turrets. Jump in one and shoot the explosives. When the wall blows up, start pegging off the mutants that’s start attacking. Once the wave of enemies is wiped out, you’ll hop out of the turret and run to the end of the room. Watch the scene that plays and you’ll find yourself having a bit of a change.

One of Them:

Now that you aren’t so pretty, walk around the room and slash at the enemies crawling around. Make you way over to the ladder on the wall and it will slide down for you. Climb up it and go through the door there to enter another large room. Head for the elevator on the far side and take it for a ride up. Make your way left out of it and kill the mutant that jumps out from the corner. Take the stairs down and follow the catwalk along until you get another message from a dead body. Continue along after it speaks and go through the door at the end of the catwalk. Enter the room there and kill the mutant feasting and head up the stairs. Go through the door on the right and you will run into a scientist and a soldier. Take out the soldier and grab his gun and continue to the end of the hall.



Go through the door there and kill a few more soldiers and mutants and hop in the purple chamber down the stairs to return to your human form. Now you will be able to switch back and forth. Exit the lab the way you entered and you will be besieged by a group of soldiers. Make your way down the hallway and use the crates and boxes for cover and you proceed. As you make your way to the end of the hallway, more and more guards will appear. Use grenades when possible to clear out large numbers of them. When you get to the door at the end of the hall, enter the room and use the body there to get mutagen. Make a right to the next room and clear it out of soldiers. Grab the level 2 key card and scan the documents on the floor. Head back out and back down the long hallway and kill the soldiers and mutants that attack. Hop in the elevator on the left half way down and a scene will play.

Internal Changes:

Make your way out of the elevator and take a right. Kill the mutant there and the soldiers hunting it. On your right will be a glass hallway you need to go down, but first head all the way to the end of the hallway to find a document to scan. Head back to the glass hallway and clear it out of enemies. Make your way through the doors at the end and grab the health across from you and watch the scene. Once you are back in control, head to the right and head down the stairs. Follow the corridor around and out into the lab. Once you get there, a scene will play and some doctors will vanish out. Kill the mutants that come leaping at you and scan the body in the center of the room. Make your way to the right side of the room and use the control panel there to take the lift up to the next floor. Use the control panel there to open the door below. Take the lift down and go through the unlocked door. Make your way forward and to the right. Some mutants will attack in here so watch your step.



Head up the stairs at the end and go through the door there to run into more illuminati soldiers as the hallway blows up. Wait for the explosion to stop and then head through and run to the left. Use the shotgun and clear out the room of soldiers. Now use the SMP to pick off the rest of the soldiers down the hall. Make your way down the hall to the corner and kill the few that are lurking there. When you get to the end of the hall, a scene will play with dr. Cray and will tell you to hurry. Go right and kill a few more soldiers and as you go through the next door, a timer will kick in giving you 45 seconds to stop the C4 from detonating. Enter the room and there will be a load of soldiers in here. Equip the shotgun and run up to each soldier and blast them. The C4 is located to the right of where you enter, so you can either disarm it quickly or clear out the room and do it, just make sure you have enough time. Scan the documents on the ground and grab the level 4 key card to the right of where the C4 was. Make your way around the conduits and go through the door there. Head down the hallway and jump in the elevator on the right.

Life or Death:

As you exit the lift, head to the door down the right hall and go through. Take the stairs down and grab the sniper rifles and other goodies along the way. Make your way out in to the large room with catwalks and dark soldiers spread out. Head along the catwalk following it down the stairs and eventually to a ladder. Climb down and make your way to the left along the far wall. Hop in the lift there and make your way to the far side of the rom following the catwalk. Hop over the break in the path and go through the door on the left. Now you will enter another large room. Snipe the soldier at the far end of the catwalk on the right and shoot the explosive that is on the left side half way down the catwalk. Once the bridge blows, head down the ladder to the right and head along the floor. Kill the 3 parasites at the end and operate the lift.



Walk off it and head up the next ladder to find a key card. Make your way back down to the ground and back up the ladder. Use the control panel to the right and the machinery will start moving in the room. Head back down to the ground again and up the ladder on the far side. Make your way to the maintenance access door and hop on the machine that is sliding back and forth when it is under you. Ride it across to the other side and jump off to the right to the platform there. Head up the stairs and go through the door at the top. When you go through, you will have 4 minutes to shut down 4 of the generators at the bottom of the room. When you enter to room, use the shotgun to blast away the closest dark soldiers and make your way right.



Follow the catwalk to the first break and hop over it. Go to the wall and hop over the railing and walk along the ledge on the wall. Go to the left and drop down on top of a box there. From here, kill the soldier in front of you and make your way to the broken catwalk leading down in the corner. Hop down it and now use the shotgun again to blast the enemies here as well as turn off each of the four control panels. Once you have them shut down, you’ll need to climb up the broken catwalk and then take the stairs back up to the top. Follow the catwalk along and jump over each broken section until you come to a door. Kill the dark soldiers there and go through until you reach the elevator.

Dr. Cray:

After the scene, Make your way out of the elevator and make a left and then a right up the slope. Enter the door and kill the few guards in there. Watch for the turrets and run for the large vault door. When it opens, go through and the next and talk to the good doctor. He will tell you that there is a security breach and you will then need to fend off the incoming soldiers. Head back out the door and stay in the hallway under the turrets so that they do most of the work. Once the rush is over, head back in and you will talk to the doctor again. Head up the lift in the far right corner and enter the med lab. Make a left and walk around to talk to Victor.



He will let you through the next door and you will need to clear out the room of enemies. When it is clear, he will lead you to the next room. Clear it as well and then enter the scanner on the right. Once that is done, you will need to head back to the doctor. Grab the fluid vial from the opening and make your way back to the door. When you open the second door, a rush of dark soldiers will attack. Kill them and take the lift back down to the doctor. Place the fluid in the opening to the right and watch the TV screens. Hop in the decontaminant chamber when told to and you will find yourself with a new power. Kill the soldiers as they rush in and then head left down the open corridor. Have another chat with Edgar and the chapter will end.

Hatching Parasites:

Now your commanders are tell you to make your way to the weapons lab. Make your way forward and scan the blueprints on the ground to get a grenade upgrade. Once that is scanned, head around the corner and find the severed head. Come back to the control panel near the red laser and place the head on it. Go through the door and make a right. Kill the mutants here and then climb down the ladder on the right. Walk over to the computer booth on the far right and use the panel there to open some doors. It really doesn’t give you much so head back up using the lift and try to go through the large malfunctioning door across from you. You will be told to find a way around it. Head back down the lift and back to the computer booth and there will be another panel that you can operate. A laser will blast through the door and allow you to enter.



Kill the parasites in the left room and scan the document there. When you have it, head back and through the door that was on the right. Kill the few soldiers here and make a left. Hop off the edge of the platform to the right and you will be in a long corridor room. There will be some soldiers who take up positions at the far end, so use the sniper rifle to take out the majority of them. Then you can start to move closer and use your alien powers to dust them quickly. Head up the stairs on the right and you will need to find the access key to the lab. Make a left and follow the hallway around to the next check point. As you enter the large room, a mutant will take out the scientist in the center of the room. When he goes down, you will need to make your way up to the second floor. Head around to the far corner and go through the door to enter the lab with floating objects.



Take the lift at the far end up and then jump across each object till you reach the far side. Once you do, follow the corridor left and around until you get the key card. As soon as you grab it, dark soldiers will run in. Duck and wait for them to come to you and then blast them When they are all dead, go through the open vent in the floor on the left and kill the parasites in there. Follow it out to the catwalk and take the lift on the left down. Now you can go through the door there on the right and enter the turret lab and the next checkpoint. Make your way to the right and hide behind the pillars there. Some soldiers will come out on the top catwalk. Toss up a grenade to take out the majority and then clean up the rest. Head to the far end of the room and take the stairs on the right up to the top. Make a right and use the control panel there to operate the turret. Now make your way down one set of stairs and turn the turret on as the door at the far end lowers. Head back up the stairs and you can now make a left all the way to the end and run across the top of the large door and across the next catwalk to the open vent. Enter it and kill the parasites that enter. When all is quiet, enter the vent across from where you dropped down.

Project Blue Book:

Drop down through the vent and pop the two soldiers there. Listen to the marine and the will tell you to find the comm. Center and to contact Bridges. Head through the door when it opens and take the lift down. Pop the dark soldier on the left with the sniper rifle and run forward to the computer console. Press the button there and an swirling clear elevator will come down from the UFO across the catwalk. When it comes down, hop on it and it will take you in side. Scan the wall and then press the button in front of the large chair. When you do, hop back down the elevator and run back over to the computer panel and press the second button there. Run up the stairs to the left as the laser blows a hole through the room where the group of dark soldiers have gathered. Once they are toast, run back across the catwalk and up the newly formed ramp.



Enter the room and follow the stairs up to the right and kill a few more soldiers in here. When you go up the stairs and through the large door, you will enter another large room will another UFO in it. Kill the enemies surrounding the room and make your way right around the catwalk. When you get to the far end, press the switch on the panel and head back to the center of the room. Hop across to the top of the UFO and watch for the turret fire. Make your way to the platform on the right and activate it and ride it down. When you get off, head around the corner and to the next lift. Ride it up and kill the soldiers there. Head up the stairs and follow the room through. Take the stairs down and clear out the area of enemies. When you head through the next door, you will hear Bridges talking to you and you will need to continue the objective of contacting him.
