Erebus Level 1 - Main Excavation:

After the opening scene and when you are in control, make your way forward, past the blood pool and into the opening on the right. Grab the shotgun there and head back out and down the hallway. Pop the Forgotten One that comes at you and continue to the left. Grab the power cell generator and continue forward. Place the power cell in the next box and the lift at the far end will activate. Hop on it and take a ride up to the top. Hop off to the catwalk to the right and follow the rocks up to the opening. Follow it around the corner and you will come to a large door on the right.



Grab the machine gun and ammo and go through the door. As you enter the next room named Ancient Ruins, take the stairs down and deal with the imp there. Once the enemies are toast head for the door at the far end to watch a scene. Use you have the grabber in your possession, make your way down the steps and through the cavern. Head through the opening at the far end and make your way through the central excavation chamber to the large set of stairs in the center. Head up it and go through the door at the top. As you enter some Forgotten Ones will attack as well as an imp. Take them out and head up the stairs on the right until you come to an elevator that will take you down to the Erebus Dig site.

Erebus Level 2 - Erebus Dig Site:

As the elevator reaches the top, hop out and make your way around to the staircase at the rear. Head up and follow the catwalk around to the maintenance supply room. Talk to the scardy cat in the locker and grab Marcus Tanner’s PDA off the table. Head back out and you will have some imps to deal with. Head back down the stairs and go through the half opened door by crouching. When you go through, you will be introduced to the Vulgar. Use the grabber to catch it’s fire balls or take it down the old fashioned way. Either way, kill it and use the PDA on the door around the corner to get through. Kill the next Vulgar and the Trite and make a right to come to a large room. When you enter, you will be face to face with a Hell Hunter.



To defeat it, there are cannons on either side of it that are firing green plasma balls. You need to catch those in the Grabber and fire them back at the Hunter. Once you nail him a few times, he will implode and you will receive his power in the artifact. Now you can activate the artifact and slow time which will allow you to move very quickly. Head through the door on the right and now you will get your first opportunity to use it. Suck the souls from the dead bodies and continue. Once you have three you are full. You will then come to some large moving blocks. Why are there large moving blocks here? Who knows. Use the artifact and run through while they are slowed. Run through the set ahead and then the set on the left.



Make a right and kill the Zsec that runs out, and enter the Tablet Beta Site. Now you will need to use the artifact again. Walk to the Power Generator and to the left of it will be a large door. When you remove the power cell, the far door will open and the close door will close. Use the artifact to slow them down and run through. Now you will have the new objective of powering up the elevator to get to the next floor. Make a right along the catwalk and move the boxes away from the door. Go through and kill the imp and make a left to follow the next corridor. Make a left through the door at the end of the hall and enter the room there. Kill the Zsec and imp and make a right to the next door. Enter the elevator bay and make a right to kill the Vulgar and imp there. Continue to the next door and make a left through it.



Make your way up the stairs and the mechanical support room and deal with the Zsecs there. Head up the next set of stairs and out the door to come outside. Walk down the stairs on the left and grab Gregory Martins PDA. When you reach the center of the catwalk, some more enemies will attack. Take them out and use the PDA on the panel to release a ladder. Climb up it and head through the next door. Kill the Zsec and enter the Upper Storage. Walk to the large orange door and use the grabber to stack the small box in front of the stack and hop up them to the next level. Grab the armor and head back down and go through the next door. Enter the Transfer Control room and place the power cell in the generator. Operate the panel on the right to call the lift and three Zsecs will come up with it. They will run to you so take them out when they arrive. Head back down to the catwalk where you lowered the ladder and hop on the lift.

Erebus Level 3 – Erebus Labs:

Next stop, Artifact Storage. Seems McNeil needs some fancy doodad there and you’re going to get it for her. Grab the goods at the top of the stairs to the right and then head up the large set in the center. Go trough the door there and make your way to the left. Kill the wraiths that appear and continue forward clearing out the room. Hop up to the right and go through the door at the end and follow the corridor around until you come to the Proving Grounds. Grab Stewart Jackson’s PDA from the body and you will need to make your way across this jumping puzzle to continue. Simply follow the path laid out and watch for the plasma balls that are being fired at you. Once you get to the other side, head up the stairs in front of you and you will get a new objective of finding two power cells.



Head down the small set of stairs and deal with the vulgars and the Zsecs there. Make a left and another and go through the door there to find an elevator. Take it up to the medical labs and exit through the door on the right. Go through and follow the corridor to the left and enter the X-ray Lab. Kill the zombies in here and go through the next door. Kill the good doctor who talks to you and then grab the PDA belonging to Preston Glenn from the desk. Grab the power cell as well and head back out of the room and continue to the far end of the corridor. Use the code 769 on the cabinet there and make a left out of the room. Hop back in the elevator and take it down. Head out and across the hall and use the PDA to open the door there. As you enter, grab the next PDA of Steven Crane and make a left through the door. Make another left and head for the door marked Offices. Climb the ladder and enter the next room. Kill the zombies there and head to the end of the hall and go through the door.



Ahead will be Sarges’ office for you to enter. Do so and use code 428 on the case to grab the Double Barreled Shotgun and the administration key. Head back out and go to the left. Kill the Zsec there and use the key on the door there. Grab the second power cell and head back out and down the ladder. As you do, the screen will turn red and a rush of zombies will attack. Pop them all and make your way back down the ladder and across to Artifact Control. Enter and make your way around to the control room and insert the power cells. Use the control panel to vent the gas and then head out. Make your way tot eh left and enter the Artifact Storage room. Grab the PDA of Viktor Kharkov from the middle of the room and The Primitive artifact from the left center of the room. Once you have them, head through the door on the far side of the room and follow it around until you come to the bay door. Enter it to get to Erebus Control.

Erebus Level 4 - Erebus Control:

As you take a step forward, there will be a maintenance worker who will yell at you from the vent up top. He will tell you to find two power cells (didn’t we just do that?) so that you can activate a lift. Head up the stairs and enter the Evacuation systems and kill the zsecs there. Make a left through the door and continue through artifact Processing to the door at the end. Go through, kill the imp and go through the next door. Make your way to the end of the room and walk through the gooey hole in the wall. Head across the stairs and up the set on the left. Go through the door there and grab Ron Gibbons PDA from the hallway. Head through the door there and drop off the ledge and head through the gooey hole again.



Now head up the stairs at the far end and make a right through the door there. Make your way to the end of the hall and go through the door on the left. Head through and then swing around to the door on the right. Enter the Evac transfer and grab the PDA off the desk. Ahead of you will also be a power cell generator. After you have the PDA, head back out to the locked door and use it to get through. Go to the far end of the room and there will be a power generator. Grab the cell and head back to the evac transfer and hop on the lift as it comes up. Jump off when it reaches the top and enter the door on the left. Follow the hallway around to the lobby and grab Nathan Reynolds PDA off the ground.



Head through the next door and enter the lounge. Play a round of Hellanoid if you like and continue through. Make your way to the left and down the stairs. Use the PDA on the door and activate the bridge controls as you enter. Cross it and you’ll be back in artifact processing. Head through the door on the far right and pop the imp and vulgar there. Continue to the right and head down the stairs in the next room. Place the power cell in the generator and the lift will be operational. Call it and then stand on it and raise it. When it raises you, grab the ladder and climb up. Follow the air shaft along to the ladder on the right and drop down. When you land in the room, walk up the stairs to the elevator and enter.

Erebus Level 5 - Erebus Research:

As you step off the lift, kill the swarm of vulgars and imps that appear and head for the door at the far end of the room. Follow the hallway around and kill more imps that appear. Continue to the far end of the hall and enter the research lab. Watch the scene and then you will need to find the armory. Head out and make your way up the stairs. Kill the zombie there and enter the door. Make your way through the next room and grab the health to the right if you need it. Go through the next door and follow the blood stained hallway to the end. Go through the door there and hop over the railing and continue through to the next door. Make your way down the stairs on the left and grab Sean Gibson’s PDA. Head through the door and kill the imps that appear. Make your way up the stairs on the right and go through the door there.



Now that you are back where you started, enter the door you went through earlier and make a left to get to the Armory door on the right. Grab the PDA of Led Avery on the shelf and the chaingun near the exit. Go through the door to the Waste Tunnels and follow the stairs down. Enter the tunnels as you put on your helmet. Enter the tunnels and be quick as you only have limited air and need to pick up air tanks to survive. Make your way across the catwalk and head right. Follow the catwalk along to the other side and pop the cherubs that appear. This part of the level is pretty straight forward. Simply keep moving forward and at the end of each section there will be a large orange door and a Mancubus will teleport in front of it. Take them down as you make your way through each door and eventually you will come to a staircase on the left that will lead to the next airlock door. Go through it and you will come to a staircase. Follow it upwards and go through the airlock to reach the surface.

Erebus Level 6 – Erebus Station:

As you exit the airlock, make your way to the far right and climb the ladder there. Head across the catwalk and across the bridge to the other side. Continue to the left and enter the airlock. When you enter the monorail storage, a marine will be there and will have a chat with you about the sentry bots. After he is done, head up the stairs to the far right and go through the door to find the sentry bot. Kill the vulgar in the next room and make a left through the door. Continue to follow the doors until you come to a staircase on the right that leads down. Follow the door there and you will come to a body and a PDA. Grab it and head back up the one set of stairs and go through the door there. Make a left through the room and head to the locked door to the access tunnel. Use the PDA and enter.



Now all you need to do is simply follow the sentry bot to the cargo bay. Help the little guy out along the way since there are quite a few enemies. When you reach the end, go to the right and climb the ladder there and crawl through the opening to the other side. Enter the cargo bay and walk over to the monorail controls for a scene to play. Once the scene is over, you are face to face with the second Hunter. This fellow is not so nice and you will need to use the artifact to slow time to take him down. When you see his gut light up red, that is what you need to shoot. Use the artifact when it is lit up and then take shots at it. When it is not lit up, stay away from him and avoid his attacks. Once you nail him enough times in the bright red gut, he’ll drop and you will receive the second power for the artifact. Head through the gate that opens and hop on the train. Use the control panel to be taken to the Phobos Labs.

Phobos Lab – Sector 1:

As you step off the monorail, head to the right and go up the stairs there. Now you need to find a teleporter to get the artifact to McNeil. Follow the corridor along and take out the Zsec and commando and head through the door at the end. Kill some zombies here and make a right through the next door and down some stairs. Make your way through the elevator access and into the teleportation reception. Continue straight ahead and go through the door on the far side. Kill the Zsecs here and you make your way to the right and head up the stairs. Make a left and go through the door at the end and follow it through to the teleportation chamber. Kill the pinky and Zsecs and head down the stairs to enter the teleportation room. Head through the glass door and activate the panel to bring up the destination panel.



Pick delta labs and head back out to the teleporter. After the scene, you will need to find the sky tram and meet the good doctor there. Kill the three Revenants that appear and head back up the stairs and make a left. Go through the door there and follow the corridor around to the right and kill the revenants and zombies there. Make your way through the door on the right and kill the Pinky in there. When it’s dead, climb in the opening in the floor and crawl through./ when you come out the other side, grab the PDA and access key and head for the elevator on the right. Take it down to the lobby. Make your way through the next door and make a left to find a revenant. Kill it and make another right and then a left to come to the sky tram entrance. Enter and hop on and go for a ride. Once you get off, go through the bay door.

Phobos Lab – Sector 2:

Step off the lift and make your way to the right. Follow the corridor and make your way towards research. Make a left into Research Sector A. Continue up the stairs and you will come to a series of offices. Enter the one with the large table and chairs and grab the PDA off the table. When you do, an onslaught of revenants and vulgars will attack. Kill them all and make your way back down the stairs and you will face a Bruiser for the first time. Pop it a few times to drop it and then use the PDA to enter Research Sector B. Make your way forward and you will come to the office of McNeil. Enter and have a chat with her and you will need to shut down the pumping station. Head back out and make a right and follow the hallway to the utility room. Continue through and make a open the airlock in the next room.



Head through and immediately make your way to the left. Head up the next set of stairs there and follow the catwalk and stairs all the way up to the key locked door. Use the access key and you will enter the pumping station. Follow the catwalk around and up the stairs and you will come to the control panel to shut down the pumping station. Do so and the objective will be to shutdown the research power. Head down the two sets of stairs and grab the PDA on the left from the body there. Continue to follow along the catwalk and you will come to an airlock. Head outside and follow the catwalk to the left and across the bridge. Use the airlock on the other side and enter the building. Follow the corridor to the left and got through the door there. Kill the group of vulgars and make a right through the door. Continue through the kitchen and make a left down the stairs. Go to the right and up and then left down the corridor there. Kill the Zsecs and grab the PDA from the box at the end. Head into the door on the left.



Use code 281 to operate the bridge and enter the security office. Kill the Zsecs in there and use the panel to activate the lift. As you enter the doorway, a scene will play and the final hunter will appear. To defeat the hunter, you will need to nail him enough so that one of the three remaining capsules in each corner of the room will have its control panel turn green. Once it does, run over to it and open it up. When it is fully open, nail the glass tube with a few shots and destroy it. To nail the hunter, stay in front of the control panel across from the doorway and the hunter won’t be able to reach you. He will toss balls at you that you can easily side step and keep firing at him. Destroy each capsule as you open them and finally when all 4 are destroyed, nail the hunter a few more times to finish him off for good. After you defeat the hunter, jump back on the lift and take it down to the next platform. Head through the doors and you will come to another security office. Enter and use the panel to unlock the door and a Bruiser will show up. Head back out and make a left to get to the research lobby and continue to the left to get to the Skytram station. Go through the bay door after defeating the revenants and you’ll be on your way.

Phobos Labs – Sector 3:

As you step off the tram, head into the door marked Reactor operations and kill the zombies there. Head up the stairs and the next set on the right and head through the door. make a left and you will enter the reactor core. Pop the cacodemon and follow the catwalk along to the right to the lift. Take it down one floor and then make your way right to the next lift. Take it down and head left to the door there. Climb down the three ladders ahead of you and grab the PDA and access key off the desk in the room at the bottom. Once you have them, call the lift and go for a ride. Now that you are back where you entered, head out the door and take the lifts back up to the top.



Make a right and enter the door at the far end using the access key. When you enter the office there, use the control panel to shut down the reactor. Once it’s down, head back out the door and use the panel there to activate the bridge. Make your way to the right and enter the door there. Use the lift and ride it down to the bottom. As you arrive, take out the pinky and the 5 or 6 revenants that appear. Head to the far left corner and go through the door there to find a sentry bot. Follow it through and give it a hand wiping out the hordes of enemies that appear. When you finally reach the end and the bot crouches on its square, head to the right and take the lift up to the airlock. Enter it and make your way to the left and then to the ladder at the end of the catwalk.



Continue right to the next ladder and into the airlock at the bottom. As you enter the next airlock, kill the Zsecs and head down the stairs to the next lift. Take the cargo tunnels and follow the red lit hallways around taking out the hell knights you run into. Follow the corridor until you finally come to a door. Kill the pinky there and head up the stairs around the corner. Follow the upper catwalk around to the left and climb the ladder on the left when you reach it. Make your way forward to the office ahead of you on the left. Shut down the life support systems by using the panel and head back out. Now you will need to find the skywalk to use the phobos teleporter. Head out of the office and make a right and continue to the door marked Skywalk. Head across it to the bay door at the end and enter.

Phobos Labs – Sector 1:

Make your way forward as you step out of the bay door. Kill the Zsecs and vulgars here and make your way through the large door on the right. Follow it past the monorail and through the door on the far side. Two Bruisers will come out to play so take care of them and head up the stairs on the left side. Follow the walkway around to the door and go through. Head down the stairs and through the next doorway and you will come out to the Teleportation reception. Head through the large door on the right up the stairs, and head up the next set. Make a left and then a right down the flashing red hallway and go through the door at the end to enter the Teleportation chamber. Pop the revenant and bruiser inside and make your way down the stairs. Enter the control room at the far end and select the delta labs on the destination panel. When you go back out of the office, there will be another Bruiser to deal with. Kill him and then use the teleporter.
