Delta Labs - Unknown:

As you step out of the teleporter, there will be quite a gaggle of enemies to deal with. Clear out the area and then make your way to the far end and to the right. Follow the corridor around and up the stairs. Kill the boney skeletons there and make a left out into the broken bridge area you may recall from DOOM 3. Kill the Hell Knight here and make your way to the left. When you step in the shining lights that are there, you will be teleported to the executive offices which you also should remember. Step out of Betrugers office and make your way around to the next door that leads to the walkway. Head to the end and make a left to find more skeleton fellows. Pop them and continue through the next door and you will come to a railing. Make a left and fight the ticks that appear and continue around the corner to another shining light teleporter. Hop in it and you will be taken to Central Processing.

Make your way down the corridor and take out the Hell Knight that appears. Continue to the common area and grab Patrick Hook’s PDA from the counter top. Make a right around the corner and then a left to enter the specimen research lab. Head through it and make a right at the far end. Continue through taking out the hell knight and vulgars and go through the next door to the stasis chamber. Kill the ticks as you enter and go through the door on the left side. Follow the hallway to the right and jump on the lift there. Head to the left as you get off it and follow the corridor along to the room where the Soul Cube used to reside. Kill the swarm of boney zombies and head through the door way at the far end on the left. Continue to follow the catwalk along and you will come to an office on the left side with another teleporter in it. Hop in it and you will be taken to the Delta Labs teleporter. Hop in it and it’s off to hell with you.

Hell:

Welcome to hell. Make your way forward and you will get ganged up on by some cacodemons, wraiths and cherubs. Kill them all and then enter the cave at the far end. As you make your way through, kill all the ticks and imps and vulgars you come across. When you finally reach the end of the path, hop in the light shooting upwards to get teleported to a green cave. Now you will have rush after rush of Hell knights, imps and Mancubi to deal with. Keep moving and run around to gather as many enemies as you can. When you have them all in a big group, use the artifact and the chaingun and mow them all down very quickly. After you have finally dealt with the last of the enemies there, a green teleporter will appear in the center of the room.

Hop in it and you will be back where you first jumped into the light. Continue down the next cavern and follow it until you come to a set of floating blocks. Hop across after you have killed all the forgotten ones so that they don’t knock you in to the lava. Make your way into the next hallway and deal with the Mancubus there. After he is dealt with, continue to the end of the hall and open the large doors. Kill the Hell knight that enters and continue through the doors. Keep following the path and you will come to another hell knight and some wraiths. Destroy them and continue on. When you come to the large room with a few caco’s, take them out and then head across the stone bridge in the center of the room. Make a right after you cross and take out the group of vulgars that appear up the side of the cliff. Continue past, in to the opening on the left and follow it around until you come to a large room with a green light shooting upwards. Grab the good scattered around the area and get ready for the final showdown.

After the scene, you will be face to …er…tongue with Betruger. For this battle you will need to keep the artifact charged and use it frequently. As he flies above, he will let loose a rush of Forgotten Souls. Use the grabber to snatch them and kill them and then whip out the artifact and use it. While Betruger is flying around, use the chaingun and plasma gun on him to wear him down. Keep repeating that same pattern and eventually the winged beast will perch on top of the skull mountain and call down a rain of meteors. When he does this, run up the left side of the mountain and you will be able to nail him from the side while the meteors will totally miss you. Use the BFG and rockets to take him down quickly. Once you nail him with the final blow, a scene will start to play. Sit back and watch the ending scene and pat yourself on the back for saving mankind once again.
