Sunny Meadows Catacombs

Oh boy, caves. Spooky spooky caves. Head to the end of the passage and make a left. Sam will open the gate there after a talking to and allow you to run through. Sam will tell you that you need to go to the right but the gate is locked. He’ll open the one on the left and when you reach the end of the corridor, there will be a possession point. Use it and have Sam run to the corner of the room and crawl through the hole there. Climb down the ledge and take out the two skeletons at the bottom of the slope. Use two full charged attacks to kill them. Jump across the water and head up the next slope and wall creep across the ledge. Crawl through the next hole and make a left when you exit. Pull the chain at the gate there and you will be back in control of Ash.

Make your way back to the gate Sam said you had to go through, that will now be open and head through it. Make a left and head down the stairs there to reach a lift. Ride it down and kill the skeletons that appear while Sam runs over to open the door. Make sure no skeletons get to him and run through once the door is fully open. Climb up the ledges and run around to the save point. Use it and head up the ladder there. Go to the far right corner of the room and use the possession point there and take control of Sam. Crawl through the hole that is on the opposite wall from where you entered the room.

Run to the end of the hall and make a left. Head down the stairs and take out the mummies along the way. When you reach the bottom, hop across the platforms and kill the deadites as you get to them. When they are dead, head up the next set of stairs and use the chains to open the gate. Now that you are back in control of Ash, head through the gate he opened, directly across from you, and head down the stairs, around the corner and across the platforms Sam just crossed. Head up the stairs and go around the corner and cut through the boards blocking the passage. Go through and Ash will walk to the darkened hallway at the end.

Guess what? Boss fight! For this boss fight, you will need to kick Sam on her head while her shield is down. Once he is on her head, start blasting away at her with the shotgun. Keep running and shooting until the shield comes back up. Once it does, then you can take out the deadites she summoned while you wait for the shield to go down again. Once it does, kick Sam on her again and start blasting away again. Ignore everything in the room while Sam is on her head and keep shooting and she will croak fast.

The Woods

I hate these guys. From the doorway, make your way left and cut through the fence. Follow the path there, past the barrels and jump over the gap in the rocks. You will come to a clearing with some more barrels and some moving bushes. Continue on, through and other wooden fence and you will come to another open clearing. Follow the path downwards to the left and a scene will play showing some deadite dogs showing up. Kill them and continue to the left until another scene plays and more dogs and skeletons appear. Kill them all and head over to the ledge of rocks beside the cave of barrels and log bridge. Hop up them and head to the left for a cave of health and right to continue on. Smash through the boards and you will find a save point to use. Do so and go deeper in to the cave to find a possession point. Use it and have Sam crawl under the gate and then into hole in the wooden fence.

As more skeletons drop down, crawl in to the open space on the right side and you will come out above the he deadite. Climb on top of him and run him down through the fences and smash the metal one at the end. Now that Ash is back in control, head down the slope and you will need to take out the huge deadite while being attacked by skeletons. Use your evil Ash power to make it quick and painless. Once the big guy is down, kill the rest of the skeletons and then climb up the ledge on the left. When you reach the top, a scene will play and you will get the most useful weapon of the game, the harpoon. After wards, use it to kill the miners that appear. Pull them to you with it and then blast them with the shotgun. When they are flying backwards, grab them again with the harpoon and blast them again to finish them off.

This is the best move to use through out the whole game. Every enemy is easy as hell when you use this technique except for the dogs. Use the harpoon on the bridge to the right to pull it down and to grab the goods there. Continue on to the building to the right and get ready for an onslaught. There will be bird type creatures as well as dogs that attack. Lure the dogs away from the birds and concentrate on them, and then take out the birds. After they are dead, a scene will play as you get back to the building. Use the harpoon on the mine cart to reveal a possession point. Use it and have Sam shimmy across the gorge on the track.

When he reaches the other side, go to the right and climb the ladder. Kill the miners up there and then walk over to the large rock. Push the support from under it and you’ll be back to Ash. Have him go back to the building and climb up on the crates in front of it. Climb up to the top and then walk back to the ledge there where there will be a raised bridge on the other side. Use the harpoon to grab it and knock it down. Run up the slope and drop down to the right. Head to the left and wall creep across the ledge and you will be over where Sam was. Climb down the ladder and enter the mine shaft there to complete the area.

Forsaken Mines

Head forward and the first room you enter will fill with deadites. Kill them all and continue down the passage. Chop the wooden fence on the right to find a save point and use it. Head down the passage and take out the miners along the way and you will come to a lift. Use the harpoon on the lever to lower it and then stand on it. Use the harpoon again and take it for a ride upwards. When you get off, head to the left and use the lever there to turn the power on. When it comes back on, a gang of deadites will attack. Take them all out and then head for the end of the passage and go through the metal door. Kill the dog there and use the save point. Run to the end of the passage and you will come to a large room with another Peepers in it.

Yep, you guessed it, grab three more spirits. Head across the track in the middle of the room and kill the deadites around you. When you get to the far side, make a right and climb the ladder there. Head across the wooden bridge and stay to the left. Wall creep along the wall and cross the next wooden bridge until you come to the egg. Slash it open and grab the soul. Follow Sam while protecting him and kick him into Peepers when you get to him. Once Sam is in, the doorway at the bottom of the ladder on the right will open up. Head through it and slash the three wooden fences open. Use the possession point before entering the room and have Sam run in. When you enter, there will be some deadites tossing dynamite at you. Target the barrels beside them to blow them up. Head for the ladder in the far corner and climb up.
