Chapter One:

As the game starts, you will need to follow a tutorial as you take on Venom on a football field. Follow the onscreen instructions and after a few hits head for the green light mark. Now that you are on the street, continue to follow the instructions and when he falls, another scene will play. Now that the Venom ordeal is over, you will have another tutorial to learn how to jump and climb up walls. Simply follow the instructions on screen and move from green marker to green marker. Once you reach the last one, a scene will play and you will get your web shooters from your place. Now that you have them, it’s time for some web slinging tutorials and another mind numbing round of jumping marker to marker.

After the next scene, you’ll have a show down with Shocker to show off how your web attacks work. Simply web his hands and be dine with him quickly. Next you’ll have a few thugs to deal with and learn how to take them down. Once they are taken care of, head to the next marker and you’ll meet the pain in the ass human torch. Learn how to do the races with him and hit each of the giant red balls to proceed to the next level of web swinging. Once you beat him, you will need to complete the needed city events and then head to the Daily Bugle. Once you make it to the green marker, a scene with venom will play.

Now that you are in control of venom, it’s time for his tutorial. Follow the on screen instructions and you will see they are pretty similar to Spiderman’s. Once you get to where you learn how to throw objects, another scene will play and you’ll face off against Wolverine in a bar. A few whaps with your tentacles and he will eventually fall for good. Once he does, you’ll be back in control of Spiderman. Complete the City Events listed and then you will be able to move on to the next training mission which will be a combat tour. This is basically a path you follow and beat up gangs along the way. Once you have that completed, finish the rest of the City Events and then head for the purple marker at your school rooftop.

The Rhino:

After you have completed the required city events, head to the red marker on the top of the building and you will get a cut scene with Mary Jane Telling you about the escaped criminal dressed like a Rhino. Once you are in control, follow the arrow to the first destination spot. Grab the worker at the power wires and pick him up. Carry him over to the ambulance and continue on your way to find the Rhino. Along the way there will be a few times that you need to stop and either help people out or help out cops with looters. Each time you have to stop, it will be pretty much the same thing so do them before the TAM runs out so you don’t fail the mission. Once you finally catch up to the Rhino, there will be one more civilian to save that is hanging from a car in a wall. Save him and then head to where the Rhino is.

You will quickly need to jump on the Rhino’s back while he is trying to lift up the structure. If he does, you fail. Punch him to get his attention when you are on his back and then jump off before he tries to crush you. Lure him over to the wet cement pit and let him punch into it while you jump out of the way. Once he does, his fist will get stuck and you need to jump over to the wrecking ball. Use it at the blue marker and it will slam into him. Now you will quickly need to chase the Rhino down the street before he gets away. When you catch him, he will be in a parking lot full of cars that seem to keep reappearing. Here you will need to jump on the Rhino back when the blue marker shows again and start beating on him. You will only get a few shots in and then need to jump off and avoid his attacks. Once the blue mark shows up again, hop back on and repeat until he is finally out of life.

Chapter 2:

After you finish the required events that the event list says you need done, you will be able to move on to the next storyline mission of the game. Swing your way over to the daily Bugle and hop on the roof. Be sure to take care of any city events that pop up along the way so you don’t have to do them later on. Once you reach there, stop in to the marker and you will take control of Venom. For this mission, you will to simply wipe out any and all merc’s that cross your path. Tossing cars at groups of them works well as does just sucking the life out of them one at a time. Move from group to group following the arrows and eventually when you reach the final group, a scene will play with Silver Sable watching you.

Once you have that completed, you will be back in control of Spiderman and need to complete some events to get to the next storyline mission. Once you reach the next mission marker, a scene will play with Spiderman and venom. After the scene, it will be another rematch to fight it out between the two of you. Simply follow the same techniques you used the first time you fought him, jump when your spider sense rings and punch and kick him when he is standing in one spot. Don’t stand too close to him for too long though or else you will get stunned in the head and be open for a free attack. Once you knock his health down enough, another scene will play and Venom will get hauled off.

After the mission is over, complete the city event, races and tours that you need to complete and then head back to the marker at your house. Step in it and a scene with Mary Jane will play discussing Peter’s funky blood. After the scene is over, you will be back outside and need to complete a few more city events if you haven’t already. If you have, head over to the daily Bugle for the next cut scene and mission. If not, complete what you need to complete and then head there.

Electro:

After the scene is over, you will be in control of Venom and will need to chase Electro through the city streets. He will take off ahead of you and then stop periodically to let out a blast of electricity. When he does stop, stay back a bit from him so you don’t get hit. You will really need to keep close to him when he starts heading up the high buildings. Use your tentacle whip, L2 + R2 to run up the side of the building faster and to jump from roof top to rooftop along with his locomotion jump. He will go and and down high buildings twice during the run and will eventually stay on the top of one of them and wait for you to arrive.

This chase can be difficult the first few times, since one little slip and you will fail and have to start all over again. Listen to what he says as well. He will tell you if he is going up or down buildings and you can use the arrow and map for directions. Once you finally catch up to him, watch the scene and round two will begin. During this round, you will need to save Spiderman from Electro as well and try and take out as many of the neon signs around the square by smashing them with cars or your claws, as well as feed and whip Electro. Try to protect Spiderman and take out as many signs as you can before you give Electro too much damage.
