Kill the Strogg that appear and continue forward. Walk up the stairs to the right and use the panel there to open the next large door. Kill the Strogg here and then talk to Newberry. He’s the engineer that is needed, so have him follow you back to the lift and back to the corridor next to the control room. Head down the stairs to the right and through the door there. Continue to follow the corridor around until you are told to shut down the defense grid. Follow the open doors to meet PFC. Jones and Newberry will open the door there. Wait for Jones to get shafted and then enter the room. Go to the lift in the right corner and ride it up. Follow the corridor around to the end and then jump down to the room below. Use the 2 control panels there and turn around to have a chat with the soldier at the window. Afterwards, go through the door that opens and continue through the next to come to a large room.

Bidwell will radio and tell you that they are taking off but they left you a hover tank to catch up. Kill the Strogg that run in and then hop on the lift. When you reach the top, kill the enemies here and continue through the door on the right. Follow the blood stained corridor around to the next lift and ride it down. Wipe out the room of Stroggs here and go through the next door. Continue to follow the corridor the only way you can go and you will come to a big mofo with a shield. Take it down quickly and continue past it going down the hallway to the right. Go through the door and kill the Strogg having a snack there and head to the left. Run past the control room there and hop on the lift. Ride it up and enter the red door to the left to exit.

Aqueducts

After you get an upgrade to you nailgun, head forward and make a right to find the hover tank. Hop in it and take it for a spin. Kill the flyers in the area and then head for the door on the left and enter. A lot of this mission can just be avoided by driving past everything. There will only be a few times that you will actually have to stop and fight. Zip through the corridors and eventually you will come outside to an area that has a large circle in the center. When you reach it some flyers will enter and start dropping balls that open up and fire at you. Take them out quickly and eventually some big guys will come through the large door. Take them down and continue through the door and into the passage. Follow the aqueduct to the end and there will be an opening on the right. Go through there and you will reach the annex.

Aqueducts Annex

Ride through the corridor and you will come outside to see some tanks get messed up by a giant red spider type machine. Dodge and fire at its head to take it down and then enter the door that opens on the far side of where you entered. Follow the corridor again, don’t bother to stop. When you come outside to the large valley, you will run into another 2 of the red spider bots. Take them down and then enter the doorway under the tower. Drive up to where Rhino squad is waiting and hop out.

Nexus Hub Tunnels

Ride the lift to the bottom and you will be told to escort the EMP to under the Tetranode and set it off. When you lift stops, hop off and head to the group. Go through the door that opens and follow the corridor around. Head up the stairs on the left and talk to Strauss who will tell you to find the temperature controls. Follow Strauss in to the next doorway and kill the Strogg that take the lift down. When they are dead, enter the next door way and make a left. Follow the catwalk around to the controls and protect Strauss while he works. Kill the flying bots that appear and return to the group while Strauss stays put. When you reach Voss, kill the few Strogg in the hallway and head through the door at the end. Follow the corridor around and enter the door at the bottom to enter a large corridor. Kill the Stroggs here as you make your way to the right. When you reach the red force field on the other side, enter the door there and make a right. Follow the hallway out to the room with pipes to the left and blue steam.

Kill the flying robots and then hop on the pipes and walk across them to the control panel. Use it to deactivate the force field and head up the stairs to the right. Kill the Strogg there and then hop off the catwalk to the right where the railing is broken. Head back to the squad and wait for the team to set off the EMP. A red spider bot will come crashing through so take cover before it kills you. Once it passes, talk to Voss and he will kick open a vent on the ground. Jump in and follow the crawlspace around to a ladder. Climb up and take the next crawlspace to the next ladder. Climb up and take out the flying Strogg there and then head up the pipe on the right that is a ramp. Hop over the railing and continue through the door to the catwalk. Head across and kill the flying enemies here and enter the next door. Enter the next room and kill the Strogg in here and make your way up the stairs on the left and then walk around the room to the stairs in the center that lead to the catwalk stretching across the center of the room. Head across it and jump on the lift.

Nexus Hub

When you get off the lift, head to the right and get in the elevator. Ride it down and make your way to the right. Talk to Strauss and enter the door behind him. Follow the corridor there through the doors and you will come to the power plant controls. Kill the enemies in here and let Strauss use the controls. Once he is done, you will need to head back to the Tetranode and deactivate the shut down controls. When you reach the tetranode, run around the catwalk to the door on the far side and head through. Follow the corridor around and make your way up the stairs on the left. Kill the big Strogg there and make a right down the corridor and kill the Stroggs there until you come to the lift. Take it for a ride and hop off at the top.

Run forward and Strauss will run to the computers and deactivate the shut down mechanism. Now you need to shut down the coolant. Make a right through the door there and follow the corridor around to the corridor room. Enter it and Strauss will tell you to use the control panel in the center of the room. When you do, two smaller spiderbots will appear. Use your heaviest weapons on them and keep moving as you fire. Focus on one and then the other to take them down faster. Once they are down, you’ll get a surprise visit from the Makron. Guess he isn’t dead after all. You won’t be able to kill him but you do need to stay alive. Dodge and move from his attacks until he fires his purple beam at you. When he does, it will lift you into the air and start a cutscene. It may take a few times to get the Makron to pick you up but he will eventually.

Strogg Medical Facilities

Now that you are all Strogg-ilizied, follow the squad and Voss will open the door at the bottom of the stairs. Head through and follow Anderson. As the transport takes off, you will have to regroup with Rhino squad. Why you can’t just run back 5 steps to where they were, I don’t know. Follow Anderson through the next door and own the hallway to the medlab. Watch the scene and then take out the Strogg medics. When they are down, use the control panel where Anderson was taken and go through the doors there. Follow the hallway along and take out the Strogg that appear there. Head through the next door and hop on the conveyor belt at the end. Ride it to the next room and clear it out. Call the lift in the center and take out its passenger.

Use the control panel the ride the lift up. Hop off it and go through the large door and head outside. Take out the Strogg and the Gladiator there and head to the next large door. Enter there and then head up the stairs on the right. Take out the Stroggs there and head up the stairs on the left. Grab the ammo and head down to the door and take out the gladiator. Go through the two blue doors and you will come to a curved hallway. Follow it along and head up the stairs. Talk to Voss through the door and make your way back down. Head through the curved hallway to the right, and kill the Strogg that come through the door. Continue through to the next blue door and head up the stairs. Hop on the conveyor belt there and ride it to the platform.
