Colossus 13

Location: E6

Type: Airborne

Ah boy, this guy is a pain in the ass. When you reach the stone structure, a cut scene will play and the beast will rise up and fly around. Take a look at it and you will see three giant sacks underneath it. You will need to shoot each of these with your bow. To get a good shot, ride Agro so that you can get onto an intercepting course with the colossus. It’s a lot easier to jump off the horse and fire as many arrows as you can at it as it flies past than it is to try and keep up with it and fire at it while running. Once you have popped all three of the sacks, call Agro and jump on him and run to the beast. Once you catch up with it, you will need to ride along side it and get ahead of it a bit. You are going to be jumping from the horse onto the wing that is digging into the ground as it flies.

When you jump, grab onto the wing and pull your self up to the back so that you are on top of it. The wing will have several ledges on it that you can use to pull yourself up. Once you reach the top, jump over to the body and run along its back. After a little while, it will start to fly around again and flatten out. Now you will need to pull out your sword and work your way to the first vitality symbol. There are three up here that are located underneath plates that lift up. Head to the closest one and stab at it a few times with charged attacks and it will vanish. There will be two more to nail that are also under plates. Run to the next one and give it some stabs before the plate closes down onto you. When it does close, it means that the beast is about to take a header back down into the sand. Hop off and you will need to repeat the same pattern to get back up on the back of the beast and to take out the rest of the symbols.

Colossus 14

Location: C2

Type: Small Quadruped

This little teeny boss takes a little while to finally defeat. Right beside where you enter the large area that this boss is hanging out in, there will be a pillar on its side to the left. Climb on top of it and run to the end. Jump off to the left and grab the ledge on top of some more columns. Pull yourself up and run off the far end and jump to grab the top of the broken wall. Walk to the far left and then jump off to the right to another platform there. Walk to the end of this one and there will be a large pillar in front of you. Jump across to it and grab the ledge around it. Jump and grab the ledge and pull yourself up to the very top. The beast will ram into but will need to ram it twice to knock it over. After he hits it once, fire an arrow at him to get his attention and he will charge again. Once the pillar falls, climb back on top of it and run along the top to the next platform.

Jump and grab it and head to the wall at the far end. Climb on top of it and make a right until you can see the next platform to the left and lower. Jump over to it and run to the end and jump to the right to grab a pillar there. Climb up to the top and have the beast ram into it twice to knock it over. When it falls, hop back on top of it and run and jump to the next pillar. Climb up it and the beast will knock this one down as well. After the series of three pillars are knocked down, run across it and make a diagonal jump to the next platform on the left and run across to another pillar. Climb up and have the beast knock it down. When it falls, jump to the platform on the right and then jump to the left to grab onto the wall there. Shimmy around the corner and then jump up to the top, to the small ledge there. Jump across from the ledge to the top of the pillar and have the beasty knock it over as well. Now the pillar will smash through a wall and you will quickly need to run over to the far wall where there will be a narrow set of ledges to climb up.

Climb up the quickly as the beasty will charge at you and knock you down as you try to get up. Once you do get up, walk up the stairs and stand beside the two square boxes and fire an arrow at the colossus. He will charge the square pillars under the platform and make it collapse. Once the scene is over, hop up on the debris, some place preferably one of the many pillars that he has knocked over and wait for the colossus to charge at you. When he does, he will get dazed for a few seconds and that will give you enough time to jump on him and give him a stab or two. Once he is back in action, jump off and get back up on the pillar and wait for him to charge to repeat the same process. Once you stab the vitality mark enough times, this little guy is no more.

Colossus 15

Location: G1

Type: Biped

To find this boss, you need to ride up to a castle type building and jump off Agro. Run through the passage and over a collapsed pillar and into a huge entry way. When you reach the far end, a scene will play and the colossus will appear. This is actually one of the coolest colossi in the game. He is a huge mofo that is inside of a stadium of sorts. When he climbs up, start running back to the middle of the right side. Here will be some plates on the ground and a lower ledge that is just above your reach. Stand on the plates and wait for the colossus to come to you. When he goes to step on you, dive to the side and the plate will lift up. Jump on it and then jump up to the ledge above. Pull your self up and head for the stones that are on the ledge.

Above you will be some more stones that need to fall. Stand near the stones and fire some arrows into the beast to get his attention. When he swings his sword at you, he will knock down some more stones on top of the ones there. Climb up them and jump back to the ledge there. Shimmy over to the right and pull yourself up. Head to the left across the path there and climb the stairs. Now make your way across the pathway here and there will be a bridge at the far end. Don’t cross it or get on it, but stay to the side. Fire arrows at him to lure him to you and he will smash the bridge. Once he does that, wait for him to walk forward closer to the bridge and then you will need to run across the bridge and jump on top of the beasts head.

Once you are on him, equip your sword and the symbol on his head will appear. You need to stab this one a few times with some charged stabs, but it can be a little difficult since he does thrash his head around a lot. Once you stab him in the head enough to make the vitality symbol disappear, climb down the right arm, the one holding the sword, and there will be a smaller vitality mark there glowing blue. Give it one quick stab and the beast will then drop his sword. Once he does that, drop to the ground and run away from it. Now along with his foot stomps, he will smash his hand down to the ground. When he does that, dive out of the way and quickly run back to the hand and jump into the palm and grab onto the hair there. Give his palm a quick stab and the beast will fall.

Colossus 16

Location: F8

Type: Structure

Once you finally reach the resting place of the final colossus, you’ll see just how massive it is. When you are at the bottom of the ramp in front of the behemoth, run up the ramp and hide behind the pillar on the left. The colossus will fire blasts at you that will seriously do some hefty damage to you and you cannot dodge out of the way of them. They will always nail you, no matter where you are going. You need to keep using cover until you finally get close enough to him. From behind the pillar on the left, run and dive behind the broken pillar to the right. From behind here, jump down the hole to the right and follow the passage along until you reach the box in the corner. Climb up it and grab the ledge. Pull yourself up and hide behind the half-wall in front of you.

Run to the right and hide behind the next 4 walls and then jump down the next hole in the ground. Follow the passage to the end and make a left. Go to the end and jump to grab the ledge and shimmy to the right. Jump over to the next platform and climb up and head to the end. Make your way to the opening in the hillside and follow the passage to the end. Climb the ledges there and you will come up to the surface behind another set of walls. For these, you will want to dive from one to the next since they are farther apart than the last series were. Jump down the hole to the far right after you reach the third wall and follow the passage along until you are under the colossus. A scene will play and show you how much farther you have to go. Walk forward to the wooden wall in front of you. Climb up the ledges on it and you will come to a platform.
