Digging In

As Dizzy prepares the grind lifts, you and company need to defend the rig. Use the mortar to clear the locusts as they appear in the cemetery. At first it will be regular drones, and then a mortar crew, then boomers and then a Reaver will appear. Using the mortar, set the distance at about 107 for the middle of the graveyard and higher to reach the far back and lower to rain death on the enemies closer. Once the Reaver is dead, another scene will play and into the ground you go!

Chapter Two: Denizens

Scattered

Now that you are in the locust Hollows, you and Dom split up to look for Carmine. Head for the ladder behind you and climb up. Continue down the path there and you’ll come to a fork in the road when Anya calls. Take the left path and watch as some grind lifts come in. Continue along until you come to a set of vines blocking your path. Cut through and continue to the gunfire and take out the locusts there to save Carmine's butt.

Once they are down, head to the downed grind lift and use the control panel on the side of it once Jack has finished fixing it. Head down the ramp to the left to give Omega Squad a hand. Kill the grubs, tickers and boomers there and continue forward after Anya talks to Dom about Maria. Head forward towards the darkness and pop the wretches that arrive. Once they are down, hack through the vines and keep moving forward.

Indigenous Creatures

As you move forward, you’ll come to a rockworm. Creepy buggers aren’t they? Shoot the pink glowing fruit up on the right side and the worm will head over to it. Useless for now, but will be handy later on when you need to use the worms for cover. Continue on and shoot the next fruit to get the next worm moving. After you pass it, you’ll come to a fork in the road and can choose either left or right. Head to the left and you’ll come to a locust outpost.

Clear it out and use the rockworm in the center for cover after you shoot down its fruit. Once the area is clear continue to the sandbags and grab the sniper rifle. Pop the snipers that keep appearing across from you beside the troika until they stop running out to their death. Once the area is clear, continue forward down the ramp to come to another split in the road. Follow the right path and you will be able to practice your sniping on a gang of locusts below you. When you have had your fun continue to the right and climb up the ladder there to find another locust outpost.

Clear it out and grab the parchment on the right side that Baird wrote about the worms. Head for the door and it will open letting out wretches and boomers. Take cover to take them down and then head through once they are all dead. Once Alpha 2 arrives, head down the ramp to the right and grab the mortar there. Clear out the locust attacking alpha 2 and continue on to the right.

Disturbing Revelations

As you move forward through the pretty flowers, you’ll come to a temple of sorts. After the scene with the Kantus, take him down and the middle door will open allowing another to enter. Kill him and the rest of the locust will flee out of the area. Continue through the temple to the ladder and you will be given a choice of left or right. Head left and you will take the high road to a small room.

Shoot the fruit out the windows to give Dom some cover and eventually a swarm of wretches will appear. Take them out and then use the lever in the room to open the door beside it. Head through and wait for Dom to come and give you a hand with the troika. Head to the right and follow the path to the sandbags and take out the Kantus first and then the rest of the locusts. Once the boomers have been taken down, head through the large doors and watch the cut scene.

Sinking Feeling

Head forward through the area and watch out for the blood mounts. Keep killing all that shows up until you reach the Reaver. Take it out and continue to the downed chopper. Once you get close, a Corpser will appear and create a tunnel. When the bridge comes out, kill the locusts that appear and the Reaver that joins the party. Once they are all down, head around the flaming buildings and enter the far left side to find the chopper. Once the ambush begins, head back to the door way and use it for cover as the locust start to swarm in. Stay alive as long as you can and an old friend will join in to save the day. Head back out of the building and go to the left, through the gate and up the hill towards the tunnel. Kill the Kantus there and enter the tunnel.
