Chapter 5 - Roadblocks

10. Jacinto Sentinel Newspaper

When you start the chapter, you'll have to kick open the door to building so that you can proceed. Once inside, jump over the counter and then head up the stairs to your right. The collectible is upstairs.

11. Memorial Inscription

Keep progressing through the level and you'll get to a part where you have to cut down a fence. Once you cut down the fence, head to the right. You'll come to a building where there's a Locust infested gas station up a hill to your left and a small cemetery to your right. The collectible is a plaque on the back wall of the cemetery.

12. Truck Driver's Note

Once you've cleared out the gas station, go in it. Go through the door, and straight towards the back of the room. Turn a corner and the collectible is on the floor.

Once you get in the tunnel, keep to the left wall. You'll come to a small set of stairs. Don't go up the stairs, but instead go in the small room to find the collectible.

Chapter 2 - Indigenous Creatures

14. Gears Journal

Before the second rockworm comes out of the wall on the right, you'll see a "wall" of vines that can be chainsawed. Do so and go through the vines. The collectible is on the ground near the grindlift.

15. Kantus Scroll

After splitting up, you'll make your way up to a large clearing filled with Locusts, two of which are on Troikas. If the two massive chainguns tearing you apart aren't a clue, look for three tent like structures. Once everyone is dead, including the guys coming out of the large double doors, position yourself so that the doors are at your back. Hug the left wall and you'll come to the collectible on the ground.

Chapter 3 - Disturbing Revelations

16. Locust Emblem

Once you start the chapter you'll move forward and go up a flight of stairs which will trigger a cut scene as well as give you lots of Locust to kill. Do so and then go through the door. The collectible is on the right next to the ammo box.

Chapter 4 - Sinking Feeling

As you move forward, you'll see a lot of burning buildings, however the one you want is on the right. You'll know it's the right one because there's an overturned car behind the building. The collectible is behind the car. Just keep exploring behind the burning buildings once you've cleared out the area and you'll find it eventually.

Eventually you'll enter a building where you're ambushed by Locust on the ground floor and the top floor. During the battle a cut scene will play. After the cut scene is finished, search around for a dead body. The collectible is next to the body.

Chapter 5 - Captivity

19. Stranded's Journal - Jennifer

After freeing Baird, continue forward. You'll see a blue path head off to the right at a right angle to the main path. Go down the blue path and you'll be rewarded with a collectible.
