Leviathan
Pick up the LAARK next to your allies and hold on to it without firing for the time being. Wait until the Leviathan grabs you and opens his mouth, then fire a rocket. He naturally is a little unhappy about it and throws you onto another roof. Run up the stairs to the top of this building. There's a metal walkway created from a fallen crane that you need to take to reach another building. Once inside that structure, walk down the circular stairs until you see an opening in the wall. Go through it and the Leviathan will once again pick you up. Wait until his mouth opens before firing a rocket.
Again thrown by the Leviathan, you this time fly through a sky bridge and land inside another building far from the creature. Exit the room and walk down the ramp to the level below. A few hybrids will be waiting for you here, although that Auger you saved from earlier makes killing them a breeze. Descend further down the building by taking the spiral ramp in the center of the room. You should now see an exit back outside and the Leviathan in the distance. Kill the two hybrids outside before going out there yourself. Equip the LAARK or reload it and fire a rocket at the Leviathan to get its attention. When it's right under the sky bridge, fire a rocket at it to kill the Leviathan. One more shot in its eye socket and he's dead.
Mission 6: Holar Tower
The clock ticks down for Hale and humanity. Dr. Malikov's efforts to shutdown the spire in Chicago proved useless as Daedalus prompted activation from Holar Tower in Iceland. Despite his assured transformation into a Cloven, Hale leads the effort to seize Holar Tower and stop Daedalus.
North Entrance
Dropped off well away from the tower's base, you need to begin hoofing it there by heading up the road. Keep the tower on your left as you do so. A short jaunt will bring you to a flight of stairs on the right side of the road--walk up them. You should see a courtyard with an American flag, tattered but still flying, and a flak cannon on the opposite side of the yard. That's your objective. Getting there, however, requires pummeling a wave of very tough Chimera forces. Break out your Marksman that you're given at the start of the mission and use it to take out as many hybrids as possible. There's a couple extra clips on the dead soldier in the alcove to the left in the yard, should you need it; realize, however, that once you come down the stairs into the grassy area you can't go back up. Only switch to the Bullseye when you're out of ammunition. Stay on the far side of the yard--the part where you came up from--while sniping.
Once the yard appears cleared, move up. The second alcove to your left is actually a small tunnel that is housing three hybrids. Pull out your Bullseye (which can be swapped out for a Mark II) and deal with them when they come out from hiding. Lobbing a frag grenade their way doesn't hurt either. Continue to the stairs, although be careful coming around them as a shielded elite will come at you. Chuck your second frag grenade at him and then finish him with Bullseye fire. Run up to the cannon and set the charges.
Turn to the tunnel at your left and enter. Go down the flight of stairs to your immediate right and past the wall at the bottom. There are two Hellfire turrets defending the hallway in front of you. Before running across the hall, pick up the Magnum in place of your Marksman to the right of the desk in the room. Take the opening next to where you found the Magnum when running across the hallway. As soon as you reach the other side, you'll face a couple of hybrids and an elite. Use the Magnum and its secondary fire to kill them. There's a small recess in the wall on the right side of the hall that you can use as a cover point. Move up to the intersection from which these enemies attacked you, turn left and fire what remaining shots you have in your Magnum through the metal bars to kill the Auger and hybrid there.
Walk down the hallway toward the previously mentioned metal bar door and take a left into a locker room. [INTEL #18: Between the sets of lockers lies this document.] A spider grenade's waiting to be picked up in the corner opposite the entrance. Grab it and go out the other door. You should now be on the other side of the bars, standing where the Chimera dropped the Auger. Swap it in your inventory in place of the Magnum. Do that and then drop down to the floor below.
Landing Platform
From the hall in which you just came will fly out several drones that you need to eliminate using your Bullseye before venturing out into the open area. After you kill all eight drones, head toward a set of stairs directly in front of the exit out of the room which you're in. You need to run, otherwise the Stalker will kill you. The stairs take you to a series of pathways underneath the Stalker. Kill any hybrids in the hallways and pick up a LAARK. Use this to destroy the Stalker by peeping up from the stairs and launching a rocket. Only fire off a single rocket, then take cover back underground. Don't risk more time above on the same level as the Stalker or he will kill you. Keep firing rockets using this tactic until he's down. Hybrids will also attempt to shoot you from a balcony surrounding the area. Use the Auger to shoot through the metal grating, where you're safe, and kill them; using a different gun will require you to move out from safety while the Stalker is still moving about.
As soon as you defeat the Stalker, a bay door on the side opposite of which you entered the area will open. Inside is an Auger-equipped foe that you need to quickly kill. If there's some ammunition left in the Auger you dropped or may still have equipped), use it to kill him from the tunnels below ground. Otherwise, grab a Bullseye Mark II and tag him to fire bullets from cover. There's also a hybrid on a higher level from within that room, so take care of him too. Head up the stairs in that room to set your charges on the anti-air gun.
With the charges set, go to the designated waypoint by moving through the door behind the cannon. You are forced to drop down into a room with some spinners; fortunately, there's nothing to be fearful of as these cocoons won't hatch when you walk past. Navigate through the room and reach the other side of the barred wall. Continue along the halls until you get to the observation room where the rest of Echo Team is waiting.
South Courtyard
Right after the detonation occurs, the observation room comes under heavy assault from Chimeran forces. Drones make up the first wave, hitting at you from the windows. Pick up a Marksman to quickly destroy them. Grab the Bellock as soon as you've cleared the drones for use against two elites and a group of hybrids that come into the room. Exhaust all of the ammunition in the Bellock before switching to the Marksman that you also should pick up before the ground forces move in. You should always be behind cover and lobbing grenades from the Bellock and firing off the secondary shots from the Marksman until all of the enemies are dead. Trying to take them on directly is suicide as they are loaded up with grenades and weapons, not to mention outnumbering you. Exit the Chimera bloodbath and head down the tunnels.
Holar Battlefield
A set of bay doors signals you've reached the exterior of the complex once again. Some hybrid resistance requires shooting, after which you can continue outside. No sooner than you step foot outside, though, do you face a slew of enemies in the courtyard. This is where the Marksman is needed to snipe at enemies from a distance. Heading too far up into the courtyard will result in death, so stay back and snipe until you run out of ammo. There are at least a dozen and a half hybrids that stream down to ground level from the roofs of the buildings lining the yard; additionally, you need to deal with a Ravager on the tower ahead.
When you've cleared enough hybrids to make a safe advance, creep up to the first set of sandbags and grab the Fareye. While the Marksman works well for distance shooting, the Fareye allows one-hit snipes that you can't get with the Marksman. Use it to kill the Ravager atop the tower and clean up remaining hybrid forces. Near the end of the battle a couple of Augers will appear that you need to take out. One appears at the base of the tower and the other in the bunker to the right. Use the Fareye for quick kills.
A shielded drone will emerge from a set of bay doors on the left side of the courtyard once all of the ground forces have been eliminate. Use whatever remaining ammunition is in your Bullseye Mark II to whittle down the shield, then use the Fareye to finish the job. The sniper rifle will take out a good chunk of shielding with each shot, so as long as your aim is good you can do away with the shield fairly quickly. Keep to cover though, as his explosive rockets can easily kill you.
Scavenge for ammo before heading into the bay doors that opened for the shielded drone. The bay doors close behind you, forcing you to list to radio chatter before another set of doors open allowing your to proceed. Walk down the stairs to the central computer terminal surrounded by spinner cocoons. If you haven't already guessed, you're about to encounter a whole mess of Grims. Grab a Rossmore (ignore the Splicer) and blast Grims that attempt to break the perimeter of the platform. Stand your ground as Warner calls the elevator. Capelli and Hawthorne will take the Grims on the left, leaving you responsible for those on the forward point. Time your shots so that you nail more than one Grim at a time. If you run out of ammo, there's more to the right. You can also take the Splicer if things get really bad. Once the bay doors close on those two areas, more Grims will emerge from the cocoons remaining in the room. Kill those and the elevator doors open, letting you travel up to the battlefield in front of the tower.
Holar Tower
Follow Echo Team as they make their way from the elevator down to the battlefield, picking up the air fuel grenade next to the fallen soldier on the right. Drop down and immediately head to the right or left. There's a platoon on the initial rocky platform to which you drop onto, but they only get killed by Auger fire moments after dropping down. You want to avoid that, hence quickly moving to the right or left. Both side eventually converged a short bit ahead, but we're taking the left side here.
As soon as you reach the ground, turn your sights to the Auger on the rocks to the right. He's the most immediate threat. Once downed, you can pick up the Marksman on the left and use it to snipe at hybrids ahead. Proceed carefully when you've eliminated the hybrids because Chimera forces have a superior position throughout this section and can easily kill you from above. Upon reaching the downed helicopter, about 10 hybrids will launch a forward attack. Use the helicopter for cover and fire at them using a Bullseye Mark II picked up from one of the fallen hybrids. Before moving up, grab the air fuel grenade in the helicopter.
You should now see the opening to the tower. Unfortunately, a Titan stands in your way. Move toward it and to the left until you run into a LAARK. Pick it up and run to cover. A couple aimed shots at the beast and he'll go down, allowing you to continue to the entrance. Walk to the tower's entrance, picking up the Wraith on your way. Keep the LAARK, though. Rev up the Wraith to chew up all the leapers that come in three waves. Next, switch to your LAARK and kill the Titan that follows after the leapers. If you need extra rockets, check the helicopter bits strewn across the section of battlefield immediately in front of the tower's entrance. Once the second Titan is down, you can enter the tower. Take the elevator down and watch the cutscene, then move through the hall to the left.
The Node
Tracking down Daedalus means navigating the maze of halls inside the tower. Begin by moving forward to the four-way junction up ahead. There's an Auger to the right, but Capelli and Warner will take him out for you. Continue down that hall after swapping in the Wraith found in the forward alcove of that junction, then follow your teammates.
You'll reach a door that Warner will open. A squad of hybrids, a couple of elites, and an Auger await on the other side. Instead of turning directly to the right and bearing down on them, turn left and follow your guys. Flank the squad from the left using the Wraith. Activate the secondary shield and use it to protect yourself from the hybrid fire. Kill the first few hybrids, then the Auger, and then the enemies by the door you just came in from. Another set of enemies are firing from Augers on the farthest side of the room. You should have plenty of shielding left, so proceed down the hallway to take care of them. There are two Augers and a couple of hybrids. Your Wraith is close to empty, so drop it and pick up an Auger.
Capelli and Warner should be waiting at the door near where you just killed the two Augers. Lead them into the next room. Use the Auger against an enemy behind the wall in front of you, then move to the hallway on the left (it's the only open path). Here the trio splits up and you're on your own again. Swap out the Auger for the Carbine as you move up the hall. You need it to quickly defeat the bombers in this room. Take position along the wall to the left in the center. Stand your grand as bombers rush toward you. Focus your fire on each one and move to the side if they get in close. They stream in from the other side of the room from left to right quickly, so stay calm and fire quickly. There's about half a dozen in total.
When the bombers are finished, move forward and take either right or left hallways. Both lead to the same place, so it doesn't matter which route you take. Make the loop around the wall and kill the Chameleon that runs at you. Walk to the hallway on your left that heads further down. The door at the end of the passageway opens and you should see an Auger walk by. Shoot fast to kill him, then go through the door. There are two hybrids on the left, chuck a grenade or use the Bullseye Mark II to tag them and shoot. Take the Auger in place of the near-empty Carbine and continue through using the door on the left side of the room.
As you walk forward you should see some enemies run in the distance. Fortunately, they're not after you; but, some hybrids will pop out on the walkway above and shoot at you. Take of them with the Bullseye Mark II, preserving ammunition in the Auger for later. Once you reach the top of the walkway, a wave of forces follows you in. Use one of the walls for cover and equip the Auger to shoot through it. You have to work fast because a couple of bombers will rush up the slope and attempt to blow you up. Concentrate on the elites first, then switch focus to the hybrids. Make sure you take out the bombers as they run up, otherwise you'll die. A second, much tougher wave of hybrids follows after you've defeated the first group. If you have a grenade, chuck right as they enter the room to get them all at once. Otherwise, be smart with your Auger fire and switch to the Bullseye when out of ammo. Move through the door that opens on the left to finish the mission.
Mission 7: Cocodrie
With the attempt to stop Daedalus failed, the last safe haven in the US is now threatened by the whole of the Chimera fleet in Louisiana. Hale's last hours are spent in a desperate effort to obliterate the Chimera using a nuclear bomb.
Field HQ
You start the mission next to a dilapidated house in the middle of a swamp. Move forward with the house on your left until you reach some murky water with Furies. Jump to the capsized boat in the middle of the creek to get to the other side. Crouch and take out the Fareye to snipe the enemies guarding the plantation. More ammo for the Fareye is leaning against a tree on the right. Quick shots are a must here, otherwise hybrids will run up to you in the brush. Use the trees for cover while sniping. Take a shot, then flick the left analog stick to go back behind the tree. When the coast is clear, grab a secondary gun (preferably an Auger, Bullseye Mark II is a solid second choice).
Enter the plantation house, grabbing the frag grenades at the entrance. If you picked up the Auger, you'll have an easy time eliminating the hybrids waiting inside; otherwise, use the Bullseye Mark II tag function to mark them, take cover at the sides of doors inside the house, and then unload bullets to kill them. Clear the first and second floors, being careful to preserve Auger ammo. A wave of enemies will then make a forward assault on the house, which is easily dealt with using the Auger. If you no longer have ammo for it, switch to the Bullseye or Magnum to take them out one-by-one.
It's somewhat difficult given that you're dealing with a couple of Augers and some awfully aggressive hybrids that will run up the stairs to kill you. Stay off the balcony and use the windows to fire down instead. The balcony is simply too exposed for you to survive their attacks. Your first priority needs to be killing the pair of Augers outside. They will be a real problem if you try dealing with the other enemies first. If you find yourself getting overwhelmed by rushing hybrids, climb the stairs from the second floor to the attic. [INTEL #19: Next to the LAARK in the Attic is the document.] As you retreat, you can fire on the hybrids as the climb the stairs in a vain attempt to shoot at you.
As soon as you've killed everything, the checkpoint hits and you're told to expect a nice little encounter with a Marauder. Think a Titan, but much, much bigger. The attic houses a LAARK that proves essential for the job of taking down the beast, so run up and get it. Fire on the Marauder, which is at the back of the plantation house, being careful to avoid its attacks. Escape to the front of the house if you find yourself getting hit too hard. When you run out of rockets, use the secondary fire on the LAARK to finish the job.
Climb over the dead Marauder, then waltz up the stairs. Collect the spider grenade from the soldier's body in the little room to the right before dropping down to the wooden walkway in front of you. Move along to the staircase, go up it and drop into the area with the stacks of palettes. Weave through the stacks to arrive at the docks.
The Docks
A ferry boat in front of you is being used by a pair of Titans that you're tasked with killing. First, you need to get out of their firing range. Run across the bridge to your right, toward the Titans on the other side of the river, then right down an alleyway, and finally up a set of stairs to meet up with allies. There's a Bellock, Rossmore, and Carbine on the top floor of this building. Pick up the Carbine and head downstairs. Use the Carbine against the hybrids that come in through the door. Before heading to the door, go to the wall next to the stairs to pick up a Pulse Cannon. Now, move to the door and swap out your Carbine for a Fareye. Use it to snipe the hybrids at the other end of the wooden bridge.
Once clear, drop the Fareye and grab a Carbine or Bullseye Mark II. You can now run to the other side into the half-destroyed building. Go upstairs, being mindful of the hybrids and drones on the second floor. After they've been taken care of, use whatever ammo is in the Pulse Cannon against the Titans. When exhausted drop it for the LAARK that's begging to be used on the second floor closest to the Titans.
When the two Titans are down, drop from the second floor windows to the wooden deck below. Hop onto the ferry boat's lower deck. Search the rooms for grenades and ammunition before going up the stairs to the mid-level deck. A few hybrids need shooting before you can completely walk up to the middle deck, after which you can search the rooms there for additional ammo and a Wraith. [INTEL #20: Adjacent to the Wraith is the final document.] Head up the top deck to deal with the remaining Titan. You should use the Wraith, which is more than enough to kill the Titan. Grab the spider grenades on both sides of the top deck before walking across the wooden planks to the adjacent rooftop. Jump down to your allies and meet up with Capelli at the designated waypoint.
