Steel River Bridge
Following the short cutscene, pick up the two grenades at the base of the chain link fence. About a dozen hybrids stream in immediately after, requiring good use of cover. The sheer number of enemies in this enclosed area is enough to take you out in a split-second, so tread carefully. Start by killing the hybrids in the street directly in front of the fencing where the grenades were, then clear the alleyway on the other side of the street. Move to it when it's safe. Pick up a Bullseye Mark II and Carbine for your secondary in anticipation of another wave of foes.

Walk up the street to grab ammo and grenades, as well as tease the second wave of enemies over the barricade. Toss whatever grenades you have at the assaulting wave then hightail it back to the alley and use the edge of the building there as a cover point. Hybrids will rush toward you, at which point you should back into the alley and shoot them when they turn the corner. As long as you threw your grenades right at the start of the second wave, it should be easy to clean up the small group of forces that remain.

Now, leap over the barricade and kill any hybrids on the other side. Take the stairs on the second pylon to make your way across the bridge's underside. The strange material filling the space between steel planks is surprisingly safe to walk on. Venture forward across the bridge, picking the hedgehog grenade up there. On the other side, take the long flight of stairs up to the road.

The Swamp
Following the cutscene, keep up with your Maj. Blake's squad as they trek through the swamp. You should reach a barred up drainage pipe that one of the soldier blasts open. Go inside and prepare for a huge wave of leapers. Continue through to reach another drainage pipe. After the private demolishes the door, head through to the flooded side. Stay on alert for Chameleons as you walk from the pipe to dry land next to the rundown house on the other side of the pond. There's a Rossmore that you should pick up right as you jump into the water. No more than six Chameleons will rush you here, so inch forward slowly.

Once again on dry land, crouch and move to the ledge near the Chimera outpost ahead. Pick up the Fareye and snipe as many enemies as possible; start with the Augers before concentrating on the hybrids. When you run out of bullets for the Fareye, either run up to kill the remaining enemies with the Rossmore or pick up a different weapon. If you killed the Augers, pick one of those up; otherwise, a Bullseye Mark II works fine. With all of the enemies dead, head to the back of the base to meet up with allies at the drainage pipe.

Another short cutscene moves the story ahead and takes you to a new location in the swamp. Your objective is to clear the ramp in front of you so that you may walk up to the elevator into the Chimera battleship. Not an easy task when you consider how many forces are streaming down that ramp. Chuck a hedgehog at the first wave of hybrids, the another at the shielded elites that move in behind them. You may need to throw another. At this point, take cover and start shooting at whatever surviving forces are at the bottom of the ramp. Since the Rossmore is practically useless here, swap it out for a Bullseye Mark II from a dead hybrid if you hadn't already picked one up earlier. More hybrids will begin to comes down the ramp too, so chuck the occasional grenade to clear them out. Spiders are nice touch here, since you can throw them up the ramp and let enemies run into the damage zone.

With this massive first wave of enemies done--yes, that's only part one of two--heal up in anticipation of a tough fight against two Titans. Joining them are a batch of hybrids that take shots at various points on the ramp. They're an incredible nuisance that you should try to ignore as you focus on the Titans. Chuck whatever remaining grenades you have at the two beast and unload all your bullets in the Bullseye to kill them. Take cover and heal up if you get close to dying.

When they fall, grab the Marksman to the left of the ramp next to some crates before heading up. Use it to snipe a few retreating hybrids. As you move up the ramp, seize the Wraith on the left side. Activate the shield and blow some bullets in the direction of the hybrids at the top. If you have a spider grenade left, you can quickly eliminate the hybrids at the top by chucking it. As soon as enough enemies have been killed, a cutscene triggers and you're off to the battleship interior.

Chicxulub Crater, Hangar Bay
Move up with Capelli to the ramp on the far side of the hangar, slightly to the left of the door in which the bomb squad ran through. Capelli leads the way to another hangar, which you'll know you've come to when you see a sole drone fly by toward the left. Shoot it and move up to begin clearing this area out. Take out a few hybrids using the Fareye, being careful to switch over to the Carbine should any hybrids run up the ramp to your position. There's only a handful of drones and a few hybrids that you need to kill before you can head down the ramp and flip the switch on the door as designated by the waypoint.

Immediately after activating the switch, run back up the ramp. Don't wait for the doors to open or anything. A Titan and a couple of Augers are about to come into the hangar, which makes staying on the ground floor an unattractive proposition. From the ramp, you can chuck a frag grenade to soften up the Augers, killing them with the aimed shots with the Fareye. Once down, you can then focus on the Titan. The Bullseye Mark II, which you can swap in place of the Fareye, is a good option since you can tag the creature and fire at it from under cover. Alternately, you can let Capelli deal with the Augers and concentrate on the Titan; however, it's a riskier strategy because you'll have to deal with incoming Auger fire in the process.

Grab one of the dropped Augers before going through the door next to the switch you activated. It's actually an elevator that takes you to the floor on which the control room lies. Exit the elevator and stay behind Capelli to wait for the drone patrol to move by. No need to aggravate them and start a battle here. Follow the drones' path through the door to the right. Keep a safe distance behind them. Continue following them through the next room, going through the door on the other side. Go up the ramp into another circular room, taking the door on the other side as well. This next room houses a handful of Augers that are easily killed if you picked up the Auger from the Titan battle. You can see right through the floor to them, so the shots are cake. Keep moving as you fire, though, because their Auger fire can quickly whittle away your health.

Run down the ramps, picking up Auger ammo on the way to the door on the right side of the bottom floor. Go through the hallway to reach a wide-open area that looks perfect for a battle. Thankfully, it's a massive tease and you just walk across the bridge to reach another hallway connecting you to the inner sanctum.

Chicxulub Crater, Inner Sanctum
When the door behind you shuts and the one in front of you lifts, prepare to deal with a mess of hybrids protected by clear walls. Again, this is why you've been keeping that Auger and pick up ammo. Pull it out and kill the first two hybrids across the way. Next, turn left and head along the path until you reach a door. Along the way a couple of hybrids and an Auger will appear on your right across the gap. Defeat the Auger first, then take cover on the clear wall using the Auger to kill the two hybrids.

Pick up the hedgehog grenade in the doorway and use it on the hybrids running up the ramp toward you. That should clear most, if not all of the hybrids out. Next, use our Auger to defeat the one standing at the bottom of the ramp. Walk down knowing that as soon as you reach the bottom of the ramp, you're going to come under serious Auger fire. There should be a hedgehog grenade at the bottom of the ramp, which you need to chuck at some enemies on the other side of the door before going back up to the level where you can see the entire inner sanctum room. If throw just right, you'll kill the two Augers and elite downstairs making it easy to clean up the squad of hybrids up top.

Break out your Carbine and zoom in for easy kills. Keep your distance, though. If you didn't manage to kill the Augers and elite below with the grenade, it's a matter of evading any Auger fire that pops up from the ground. Additionally, the elite will come and find you if you didn't kill him, so be aware that he'll try and flank your backside. As you fire on the hybrids across the way, regularly check behind you to ensure that you don't get surprised. Once all of the enemies are dead, head back down and across to the other side to hit the checkpoint. A pair of elites will come through the door, but you can take them out easily if you have any Auger ammo left. Even without it, you can use the pillars in the room for cover to get them with the Bullseye.

Chicxulub Crater, Engine Rooms
With the room clear, Capelli will fiddle with one of the terminals in an effort to open the door for the bomb squad. Unfortunately he's unsuccessful and you're drafted to continue through the battleship to reach the conduit hub. Move through the door that opens and let the elevator take you up to the engine rooms.

Inside the first engine room you should walk across the metal bridge over the super-heated water. You're welcome to walk through the water, but at the risk of killing yourself. Walk up the winding ramps to the pressurized door that Capelli opens for you. Go through it to the next room and head to the left, following Capelli's directions to take the catwalk to the override controls. When you pass through the pressurized door on the catwalk, enemies will begin creeping up behind you that you can easily view from your position high on the walkway. Fire down on them with the Bullseye or Auger if you're lucky to have any ammo left. The door prevents them from flanking you, but that doesn't mean they aren't dangerous. Kill the Auger first, crouching if needed, then the three hybrids.

Continue forward through the next door. Go through the small room, taking the door immediately to your left. You should now be in a room with a large pool of yellow water that you can cross over using a metal walkway. Take it and follow Capelli's direction to use the door on the left. Before doing so, though, pick up the Rossmore on the right side of the room. As soon as you open the door on the left, shoot the Chameleon that runs forward.

Open the next door and you'll see am Auger that starts shooting at you. There's actually three of them and you can't shoot at them because they're using a wall for cover. Fortunately, there's an Auger you can pick up directly in front of the door. Quickly grab it and retreat to the previous room. From there you can fire on the Augers and kill them. Note that they will aggressively pursue you, so don't be shocked if they come into that room. Turn it into an advantage and shoot all three when they attempt to come in.

With the Augers down, go into the next room. Pick up the Rossmore (again) and proceed slowly. Make sure to keep the Auger, though, which should now have plenty of ammo. Three chameleons will rush you in quick succession, which you can turn into a pile of goo with the shotgun. As you move up the catwalk, a fourth tries to kill you there too. Continue forward along the route until you reach a room with two ventilation shafts. Go to the other side of the room from which you entered to drop your Rossmore for a Bullseye Mark II. Use that to shoot down the drones that emerge from the shafts. You can also use the Auger for one-hit kills behind the clear wall. When you're destroyed all the drones, jump down one of the shafts to the floor below.

There's only one way to go, so move down the hall to the control hub. Go up the circular ramps to reach the switch. Before pulling the switch to open the blast doors, pick up the Wraith next to the fallen soldier near the switch. Activate it and proceed through the once shielded area. In the distance you'll see some hybrids and an elite come into the room. Rev up the Wraith, hit the secondary shield and take them out. Wait for the elevator doors where the enemies filtered in from to open and then take it to the exterior decks below.

Chicxulub Crater, Exterior Decks
Exit the elevator and hang a left up the ramp to continue. The Marksman at the base of the ramp proves very useful in sniping the enemies up ahead, so swap it out for the Wraith. Take out the Auger milling about first, then take cover on behind a crate. Snipe the hybrids firing from above next. An elite and some hybrids will attempt to rush you, so be careful not to get taken by surprised. When they run up to you, fire off a few shots and melee them for quick kills. With all the enemies dead, pick up the Auger in place of the empty Marksman and a Bullseye Mark II as well before continuing up the next ramp. Inch forward slowly here, as there's an Auger on a catwalk above you that needs to be killed before running forward.

A checkpoint hits at the top of this ramp, which means you have something nasty coming next. Sure enough, a Titan appears on the left and another drops in on the right. Make a quick jaunt to the left in order to pick up a LAARK there, dropping the Bullseye. Don't fire at the Titans from there; instead, run back down the ramp you just came up. Fire from there and evade any incoming blasts from the Titans. Concentrate on killing one at a time. Remember, you can also chuck any grenades you have at them to whittle them down. Back up if the Titans start moving down the ramp toward you. Stay away from their range of fire. When you've killed both of them, swap in a Bullseye Mark II and Carbine before proceeding.

Take the winding ramps on the far side of the area in which the Titans appeared. Go through the door that opens and across the short hallway. The next area brings you inside a hangar where you must start by killing two hybrids to your left. Next, clear out the drones on your right. Move through the room to encounter another pair of hybrids near the exit you need to take out of the hangar. Kill them, grab the Marksman near them, and make you way to the second area within the hangar. You ought to now have a waypoint on the screen. Run toward it into the next area. You'll see a Titan and a couple elites, but do not fire on them! Wait until the Titan goes through the door on the far end, leaving the two elites to you. Zoom in with the Marksman and take them out.

The door's sealed, but you can still get to the bomb by moving past the guard rail on the left side of the walkway. There's a ledge that you can use to work around the door to reach the Chimera that have the bomb. When you come to the slumped soldier on the ledge, turn to your right and pick up the Fareye in the alcove. It's a must in killing all the forces protecting the bomb ahead. Crouch and move forward to a good sniping position, then open fire. If you start taking damage, pull back and recover, moving back up when you're healed up. There's an elite, Auger, and a pair of hybrids. Concentrate on the two bigger baddies before bothering with the hybrids. If you run out of Fareye ammo, use the Bullseye to finish the job. Do not head down there until all of them are killed.

Chicxulub Crater, Daedalus
You've made it. The final encounter. Before facing Daedalus, though, you need to kill the two hybrids guarding the path to the waypoint that just appeared. Pull out the Bullseye Mark II and fire on them. Move up to the waypoint, which is situated in a circular dome. Daedalus will then begin attack with its tentacles, jabbing through the metal plates to get at you. Avoid the tentacles staying alive until the door opposite from which you entered the dome opens up. You don't even need to fire at Daedalus--it just wastes bullets and doesn't damage him.

When Daedalus has destroyed enough of the dome, the shield will come down, allowing you to move to the next waypoint. Of course, you have to kill the hybrids protecting the path to it first. Five will come out from the dome ahead that can be quickly killed if you zoom in with your Bullseye Mark II and inch forward. Just fire when they start filing out of the dome. As you walk into the dome, be careful of debris that Daedalus hurls at you.

Like the previous section, just avoid Daedalus' tentacles as he jabs into the dome. No firing necessary. Upon finishing the second dome sequence, grab the hedgehog grenade outside the dome and chuck it at the hybrids that come out of the third dome. Kill whatever hybrids remain and go to the third dome. Again, be careful of debris. Inside the final dome, use the same tactic as outlined in the previous two sections.

A checkpoint hits as soon as you exit the final dome. Some hybrids run up the ramp ahead, which can be easily killed with a spider grenade. If any survive, just shoot them with your Bullseye. Proceed to the waypoint marked to confront Daedalus once and for all. You actually don't fight it head on, instead firing at generator nodes to electrocute it. Waypoints mark the places where you need to shoot, so just use them as a guide to defeat Daedalus. It takes several nodes before he goes down. You must avoid the tentacles at all cost because they will kill you in short order. Just keep running around in circles as you fire on the nodes. Don't look behind you or zoom in--both slow you down and make you vulnerable to Daedalus' attacks.

Once Daedalus is killed, you have one final task--escape the battleship before it goes boom. No more guns, though, as you race to get off the ship. Hale now possesses the power to simply point at enemies with hands to make them explode--fun! Just follow the waypoints to the escape shuttle and finish the game. Congratulations on finishing Resistance 2!
