Let's get right to it. Here's the list of trophies and where to get them.

Recycler (Bronze): Defeat the Goliath in the Single Player Campaign

At the end of the Prologue mission, you defeat the Goliath.

:: Fried Kalamari (Bronze): Defeat the Kraken in the Single Player Campaign

At the end of the first mission in San Francisco, you take on the Kraken.

:: Exterminator (Bronze): Defeat the Mother Spinner in the Single Player Campaign

At the end of the third mission in Twin Falls, you beat the Mother Spinner atop of the tower.

:: Flyswatter (Bronze): Defeat the Swarm in the Single Player Campaign

Near the end of the fourth mission in Bryce Canyon, you defeat the Swarm.

:: The Bigger They Are (Bronze): Defeat the Leviathan in the Single Player Campaign

At the end of the fifth mission in Chicago, you take down the Leviathan.

:: Big Game Hunter (Bronze): Defeat the Marauder in the Single Player Campaign

At the start of the seventh and final mission, you beat a Marauder.

:: Rampage (Bronze): Kill 40 hybrids in the Single Player Campaign

It won't take you long to get this easy trophy. Sometime midway through the first mission in San Francisco it should unlock.

:: Covert Ops (Bronze): Collect 5 pieces of Intel in the Single Player Campaign

Refer to the Intel locations marked in the single player campaign guide above. If you collect every piece of Intel from the start, you should get this trophy during the San Francisco mission.

:: Nowhere to Hide (Bronze): Tag and kill 30 enemies with the Bullseye in the Single Player Campaign

A simple task: just make sure to follow the advice in the walkthrough to tag enemies with the secondary fire, take cover, and the fire. You don't even need to do that, though, to unlock the trophy. As long as you tag an enemy before killing it, it counts. Doing this 30 times is easy since there's tons of Bullseye ammunition through the course of the campaign.

:: Sharpshooter (Bronze): Get 30 headshots while scoped in with the Fareye or Marksman in the Single Player Campaign

Another easy trophy. Follow the advice in the above walkthrough to use the Fareye or Marksmen at specific points in the campaign and you'll unlock the trophy midway through.

:: Explosives Expert (Bronze): Get 150 kills with the Carbine 40mm, LAARK, or Frag Grenade in the Single Player Campaign

Note that you can only get kills that apply toward this explosives-oriented trophy using the secondary fire on the Carbine. As long as you consistently use up your frags, wield the LAARK against Titans and other big foes, and deplete the secondary fire on the Carbine everytime you get grenades, you should have not issue getting enough kills by the end of your first run through the campaign.

:: They Go "Boom" (Bronze): Get 30 kills with the Magnum secondary fire in the Single Player Campaign

An extraordinarily easy trophy when you learn to use the Magnum properly. Always fire a shot and hit R2 after it hits your target. If you get into the habit of using the Magnum this way, you can get the few kills needed for the trophies. Good places for lots of Magnum kills include the Grims at the start of Chicago and in Holar Tower, as well as leapers in Cocodrie.

:: Pyromaniac (Bronze): Set 100 enemies of fire with the Bellock Semi-Automic, Air-Fuel Grenade, Spider Grenade, or environmental hazard in the Single Player Campaign

If you focus on getting kills using indirect fire and air fuel grenades, this trophy becomes much more accessible than if you attempt to earn kills with the Bellock and spider grenades. The Bellock and spiders are simply too infrequent through the course of the campaign to add a significant number of kills to your total for this trophy. Instead, blow up cars whenever enemies venture near them and chuck air fuel grenades at groups of enemies for efficient means of getting lots of kills.

:: Spitting Lead (Bronze): Kill 50 enemies using the Wraith with the force barrier engaged in the Single Player Campaign

As encouraged in the walkthrough, whenever you get the Wraith activate its shield. Every kill you make with it on counts and since you can mow down a dozen enemies pretty quickly with the weapon, it shouldn't take long for this trophy to pop on the side of your screen.

:: I See You (Bronze): Kill 50 enemies through solid matter with the Auger in the Single Player Campaign

If you follow the above walkthrough, you'll unlock this trophy no problem. The Auger is perhaps the best weapon on the game, so you should be eager to utilize its ability to shoot through walls. Every chance you get, equip the Auger and fire at enemies through walls and other objects to net the necessary 50 kills.

:: Talk To The Hand (Bronze): Use the Auger force barrier to stop 150 incoming enemy shots in the single player Campaign

Whenever you wield the Auger in your efforts to get the above "I See You" trophy, just make certain to throw up the shield by hitting R2. A good place to earn the trophy quickly is during any large fight where several hybrids are aiming at you, such as the middle of San Francisco on the docks. Whip out the Auger, throw up a shield, and let the hybrids shoot the shield 150 times. Simple.

:: For Close Encounters (Bronze): Get 10 one-hit head-shot kills with the Shotgun in the Single Player Campaign

The best place to get this trophy is Mission 3, Twin Falls. After meeting up with Warner, a massive wave of Grims will rush you. Use your shotgun and aim for their heads to earn enough kills to unlock the trophy.

:: Pincushion (Bronze): Get 50 kills with the Hedgehog in the Single Player Campaign.

Hedgehog grenades are the most abundant and useful of the types of grenades in the game. Whenever you come across some, hold on to them until you can chuck them at a group of enemies. Throwing them at individual hybrids will make it a slow road to getting 50 kills. Good timing can net you half a dozen kills with a single hedgehog, so toy with the angle of your throws to get the right one. You're assured to unlock it before the end of your first run through the campaign.

:: Up Close and Personal (Bronze): Get 50 melee kills with any weapon in the Single Player Campaign

Usually getting closer enough to melee an enemy is a bad idea, but there are some occasions when it's possible. In Mission 3, Twin Falls, Grims are easily dispatched from a melee blow. After saving Warner at the start of the mission, you can log in at least a dozen melee kills there.

:: Wrecking Machine (Bronze): Destroy 40 vehicles in the Single Player Campaign

You can start blowing up cars in Mission 2, Orick. Upon arriving in the town midway through the mission, you'll come into a bunch of cars. Just start unloading your guns at them to make the explode. Later on, you can blow up more cars in Twin Falls and Chicago.

:: Mind Your Surroundings (Bronze): Get 50 indirect kills using explosive objects in levels in the Single Player Campaign

You can start earning kills for this trophy in the Prologue when you escape the detention center and encounter hybrids near a series of propane tanks. Through the campaign, keep an eye out for explosive tanks and cars as these are the objects that you need to hit in order to accumulate indirect kills. Note that grenade and Magnum secondary fire kills do not count toward this, so you have to try hard to explode propane tanks and cars. Given the huge number of cars in the Orick, Twin Falls, and Chicago levels, you ought to get a majority of your indirect kills in those levels.

:: Berserker (Bronze): Use every berserk at least once in Online Competitive Multiplayer

The third of a trio of extremely difficult competitive mode trophies. This one requires you to use every berserk available in this mode, but you must first unlock them.

:: Specter Recon (Bronze): Collect 50 pieces of gray tech in the Cooperative Campaign

Acquiring gray tech is done during each cooperative mission in which you kill a Chimeran primarch. The enemies with red health gauges leave pieces of gray tech for purchasing new abilities for each class, in increments of 1, 3, and 5. Given that you earn at least a couple of gray tech per successfully completed mission, you'll the trophy about 20 missions through the cooperative campaign.

:: Specter Initiate (Bronze): Complete 20 missions in the Cooperative Campaign

Aiming for the "Specter Gold" trophy will net you this simple one. You'll actually receive it well before "Tour of Duty" since more than 20 missions need to be completed in order to unlock the final location in the cooperative campaign.

:: Team Player (Bronze): Complete 5 missions with a full party of 8 in the Cooperative Campaign

In the course of completing all the cooperative mission, you should get this easy trophy. Unfortunately, if anyone drops out of a full game that mission doesn't count toward this goal; additionally, you must complete the mission successfully.

:: Tour of Duty (Bronze): Complete one mission on each region in the Cooperative Campaign

Sounds simple, but in order to access each location in the cooperative campaign you need to unlock them first. Every region has a requirement that is directly related to how many missions are completed in the area preceding it. Chicago is your starting point, from which you need to complete 5 missions there to access Orick. Complete another 5 missions in Orick to unlock Axbridge. In Axbridge, you need 3 completed missions to venture to Bracknell. Another three in Bracknell opens up Bryce Canyon. Finally, getting to Holar Tower requires finishing 10 missions in Bryce Canyon. In total, you need to complete 26 missions at minimum to get to Holar Tower. At that point, all you need is to complete a mission there to get the trophy. Additionally, it's worth noting you need to get so much gray tech as part of the requirements for unlocking each region; however, it's redundant since you usually earn enough by completing the required number of missions to unlock the area anyway. One last note, you can get lucky and unlock the trophy without completing all of the requirements if you get placed into random games view the matchmaker. It's chancy at best, but totally possible.

:: Salute Me (Silver): Achieve the rank of Lieutenant

Resistance 2 features 61 ranks based on the amount of experience received across single player, cooperative, and competitive modes. When you've accumulated so much experience, you're awarded a new rank. You can view how much experience you have from the community menu under your profile. Lieutenant is set at level 30, which is an indeterminate amount of experience. You'll need to have played through the campaign at least twice and earned a million points between cooperative and competitive to get close. Some server synchronization issues may show less experience on your profile than you actually have, so it may unlock even if it appears that you aren't close.

:: Exotic Weapon Collector (Silver): Get 20 kills with each weapon in the Single Player Campaign

Surprisingly, this is a tricky trophy to unlock. You have to get 20 kills with every weapon which includes all of the grenades and exotic firearms like the Splicer and Pulse Cannon. No problems to be had racking up kills with the Bullseye and Carbine, but for the rarer weapons use these strategies to get 20 kills.

Pulse Cannon--The first time you encounter this weapon in San Francisco, hang onto it and use it against a series of hybrids in the area immediately proceeding your run in with the Kraken. You should log in a handful of kills there. Later on in Cocodrie at the docks, you can pick up a Pulse Cannon against a set of Titans; but, it's best to use it against hybrids to earn kills. Splicer--At the beginning of the mission in Chicago, your teammates will signal a Spicer on the street. Pick it up and rack up easy kills on the Grims that rush you right after that point. It's a rather weak weapon, so get your kills in here so you don't have to bother with it later.

LAARK--Using the this rocket launcher near the end of the mission in San Francisco is a good start to racking up kills. Whenever its around, there's usually a Titan or two to take down; however, you can easily get kills by holding on to it and firing it at groups of hybrids and leapers.

Bellock--You first encounter this bombastic grenade launcher in Twin Falls outside the diner on Main Street. Pick it up and you can get several kills before running out of ammo. Later in that mission, another Bellock pick up allows you to take on three Titans. At Holar Tower in the South Courtyard, you can use a Bellock to kill at least a dozen hybrids too.

Grenades (Frag/Hedgehog/Air Fuel/Spider)--Kills with the frag and hedgehog grenades are easy enough thanks to generous placement through the campaign. It's slightly tougher to get air fuel and spider grenade kills because they're rarer. You first get spider grenades in mission 3, where you can get a good number of kills by using it against a theater full of Grims.

:: Master Spy (Silver): Collect all the Intel documents in the Single Player Campaign

Like the "Covert Ops" trophy, use the above walkthrough to locate all of the Intel. There aren't too many documents to collect and they're in easy-to-find places.

:: Snipe Hunt (Silver): Kill 30 Spinners in the Single Player Campaign

Spinners are the tiny insect-like creatures that you first encounter in Mission 2, Orick. They're completely harmless and never attack you, but are a little challenging to aim at. More spinners inhabit Twin Falls and Chicago. You ought to get the trophy in that mission no problem. If not, the final mission in Cocodrie has a few. Whenever you see the buggers running around, take aim.

:: Xenocide (Silver): Kill 1000 enemies in the Single Player Campaign

This easy trophy unlocks approximately halfway through the single player campaign.

:: Point Man (Silver): Earn 1 million XP from ranked games in online Competitive mode

One of the toughest trophies in the game, you need to play a ton of matches to unlock it. A good way to start racking up experience is to play a few games between each mission of the single player campaign. The better you play, obviously, the more experience you earn. While you'll only earn a small amount of experience when you begin to compete, you'll earn more as you adjust to the style of multiplayer. Expect it to be among the last trophies you'll get on the road to platinum.

:: Specter Officer (Silver): Reach max level (30) with one class in the Cooperative Campaign

This takes quite a bit of time. Select your favorite of the three classes and stick with it as you complete missions in the cooperative campaign. Depending on how effective you at earning experience, you may unlock the trophy around the time you complete every mission; more realistically, however, you're going to have to play several missions beyond that point.

:: Primarch Hunter (Silver): Kill 200 Elite Chimerans in the Cooperative Campaign

This trophy refers to Chimeran primarchs that appear in every mission in the cooperative campaign. Enemies with red health gauges are considered elite. Killing 200 of these guys nets you the trophy. It'll take a few dozen missions before you earn enough elite kills to unlock it.
