Enter the hallways off the track. You're wanting to reach the pump room, which isn't that difficult thanks to signs that point the way. As you follow the signs, engage the Replica forces that appear. There are quite a few soldiers in the tunnels leading to the pump room, so picking up one of the automatic shotguns isn't a bad idea. When you finally reach the pump room entrance, you have to climb down a yellow ladder. After Keegan fiddles with the electricity, you're now going to have to switch it off in order to walk through the watery tunnels without getting fried. Walk over to the switch and shut off the current.

Now you can head down the stairs into the water tunnels. Unfortunately, shutting off the electricity was only a trade-off: ghosts appear throughout the bottom floor of the pump room. Switch to your pistol and shoot them whenever they appear. Snake through the tunnels to escape the pump room and arrive at another set of tracks. [INTEL #62, "Line extension": Located on a seat in the second, lit subway car.] Use the stairs to climb up the platform and follow the halls to reach a flooded room. Three Replica soldiers patrol the flooded floor, with another squad camped on the floor above. Hit slow-mo and throw a grenade to rid yourself of the guys in the water. Next, inch into the room and take aim at two soldiers at the railing on the floor above. You can access that floor by going through the chain link fencing and climbing a set of stairs. Do that, fighting Replicas along the way. Continue on this floor until you reach a yellow ladder leading up to a passenger platform.

Run to the information booth in front of you and take cover at the counter. There are several Replica soldiers that you can zero in on from the booth before heading to the subway car on the electrified track. Once all the soldiers you can see have been killed, exit the booth and use the subway car as a bridge to the other side of the platform. You're likely to face a couple more soldiers on your way, as well as at least one more on the other side of the platform. Most are carrying automatic shotguns, so don't get too close to them while fighting. When you reach the other side, walk all the way to the end and shut off the electric current. Stay by the switch and wait for three soldiers to walk by. Flip the switch to fry them and then collect the oh-so nice laser off one of them.

Proceed up the flooded tunnel and go through a broken brick wall on your left. [INTEL #63, "Supply report": Sitting on a sawhorse after walking through the broken brick wall.] Go through the door into a section of the subway that has caved in, a bus teetering on the edge of the street. Hop over the wall and watch the bus fall down into the subway. Walk around the bus, onto the track, and into the maintenance area through the door ahead. Continue through the hallways to reach another track, this time with a tilted subway car. Take that up to the passenger waiting area. Walk toward the coffee shop and use your laser to make toast out of the Replica soldiers here. There's a door at the end of the platform: take it and follow it until you arrive at another ticket and gate area.

The Replicas here a slightly more challenging to deal with because of a laser-equipped unit. You should make him a priority, but he's on the other side of the gates so you need to take out some of the soldiers near you first. Utilize cover because the laser takes huge chunks of health. Pop out of cover and fire a couple shots or hit slow-mo to take him down. Continue through a door at the end of the platform to your left. Walk through the room to reach yet another set of tracks, this one however is functional. Jump over the railing to get down to the track, then immediately run to one of the alcoves on the opposite side. Watch the train crash, then emerge from the alcove to fight the Replica soldiers on the maintenance platform. When they're all dead, climb onto the platform and walk up the set of stairs in the office. [INTEL #64, "Laser manual": On the second floor located on a shelf in the darkened back stock room.] Hop over the railing on balcony and use the crashed train to jump across to the other side. Kill the soldiers here and make your way through the remaining tunnels to finish the level.

XIII. Epicenter

"Lt. Stokes sent you after Sgt. Keegan, who wandered off during a firefight and disappeared. he seems to believe he is pursuing a woman. Lt. Stokes has advised you to locate an Armacham cargo tunnel that should lead you to Still Island. She and Sgt. Morales will rendezvous with you there."

Return to street level by walking up the stairs out of the subway system. Immediately, you fight four Replica soldiers. This is a good place for slow-mo, as these guys can overwhelm easily. After the checkpoint hits, grab the sniper rifle and zoom in on the sniper on the broken freeway overpass. Continue down the street when he's down. A couple more Replicas will appear as you walk up the street. Kill them, then pull out the sniper rifle to shoot a sniper nesting on scaffolding next to a burning dumpster.

Continue moving forward, killing two more Replicas that are patrolling the fallen, flooded section of the street. Make your way along the intact bit of asphalt along the left side after they're dead. A third sniper is taking aim at you from atop the movie theater billboard. Crouch and inch forward along the corner of the building next to the fallen section of street to kill him. Collect the laser ammunition inside the building, using it against two Replicas that come out of the building across the street. When you've finished them off, head toward that building. Another Replica will fire at you from inside, take care of him before entering. A hammerhead-equipped Replica emerges from within the building, use your laser on him. [REFLEX INJECTOR #11: Located at the ticket counter inside the movie theater.]

Go into the actual theater and walk through to the alley in the back. Proceed down the street until you see an Elite Powered Armor sitting in a puddle of electrified water. Shoot the power box on the adjacent pole to make it safely to the armor. Get in and use it's massive firepower to plow your way through the streets. Along the way are several armored units, rocket units, and tons of Replica soldiers. Just steady your aim, fire rockets when primed, and remember that you can regenerate the Elite's health by staying clear of combat for a few seconds. When you reach the end of the street, the rubble blocking any further progress, you'll confront a Replica-controlled Elite Powered Armor. All it takes is three rocket salvos and some machine gun fire to take it down. Use the nearby rubble for cover. Exit the Elite when all enemies are cleared from the area and enter the building to the right of the debris.

The route through the building is linear, just saddle over broken walls to reach another street. Although there are a bunch of ghosts here, they won't attack you. Walk to the end of the street and drop down to the half pipe. You need to make your way down the side of the debris to reach the Armacham tunnel and complete the level.

XIV. Approach

"You've entered the Armacham cargo tunnel through a breach at what appears to be the epicenter of the explosion that devastated the city, Your goal is to reach the Still Island facility before Alma overwhelms you. You don't seem to be any closer to intercepting Sgt. Keegan. If anything, he seems to be moving further away."

Having fallen from the debris into the tunnel, slide down the pipes to the floor below. Make your way to the ruined tunnel and walk along the yellow catwalk to continue. At the end of the platform, careful hop boxes and other debris to land on the platform below. Keep walking through the corridor ahead. [INTEL #65, "Replica brochure 1": Locate on the ground in front of the first Replica box you come across.] Turn the corner to battle four Replica soldiers: one on the same level as you, the other three on the platform above you. Lots of yellow explosive barrels in the area make it best to use slow-mo, then shoot barrels to kill them. Proceed to the cargo tram when the area's clear. [INTEL #66, "STS guidelines": In front of the tram on the ground.]

Activate the tram by using the control panel. As it moves down the tunnel toward Still Island, another tram comes in parallel to it. Prepare for Replica soldiers to board your tram. Move up and down the tram killing Replica soldiers. When the first wave of enemies has been defeated, the tram system lets you know that an obstruction is detected. A couple more enemies will appear then the blue tram will begin to buckle under the weight of the second tram being placed on top of it. Escape to the other tram car. Another wave of enemies has to be taken out before a second warning sounds. This time you need to access the control panel to regain control of the tram. Ironically, as soon as you attempt to take control of the tram it crashes.

You come to next to the wrecked tram. Keegan is here, although clearly disturbed. Approach him using the yellow catwalk. When he disappears and shows up further down the room, use the yellow ladders and catwalks to reach him. [INTEL #67, "Transfer notice": The intel is on the left side of the room, up a ladder.] He vanishes from the central catwalk before you can get to him. Continue forward using the set of stairs on the left side of the room to go through a door to the next area. Climb the ladder here, careful to hit slow-mo when you reach the top in order to kill the cloaked Replica waiting for you.

Continue through the facility to reach a set of stairs leading to a catwalk. [INTEL #68, "Replica brochure 2": Take the ladder to the right of the stairs down to the ground where this piece of intel sits.] If you want the medkit on the platform to the right of the catwalk, go to the left of the catwalk through a vent. Follow it all the way around until you're dumped in front of that platform. There's a cloaked Replica, so be prepared as you reach the platform to engage him. After you collect the medkit, continue following Keegan's path. [INTEL #69, "Op guidelines": Located on the ground near the pulse gun in the hallway.]

Keegan has lifted himself using a platform that you need to lower in order to get to him. The control panel is located directly beneath the hydraulics. Clamber down the slope to access it. [INTEL #70, "Replica brochure 3": Take a ladder down to grab this intel on the lowest area of the room.] Lower the platform, jump onto it, then let it lift you up to the adjacent platform. As soon as it gets to the top, however, three cloaked Replicas appear. Work fast to avoid losing too much health, remembering to use slow-mo. Drop to the catwalk beneath the platform when they're all dead. [REFLEX INJECTOR #12: Go right on the catwalk, take the ladder down at that end. Use a second ladder to climb up to a platform where the injector sits on the ground.]

Walk left on the catwalk, climbing down the ladder at the end. Stay alert, as there are a couple more cloaked Replicas that appear randomly. Lower the platform in this part of the room in the same manner you did the first. Hop aboard and jump to the next platform. From there, drop to the yellow catwalk and slow-mo for the purpose of killing the cloaked Replica that appears. Another one shows up on the catwalk ahead too. With them both out of the way, you can venture through the bright, white door.

Keep moving forward, minding the cloaked Replica that tries to sneak up behind you as you climb down a ladder. Continue until you reach the door override switch. [INTEL #71, "Replica brochure 4": Beneath the set of stairs in front of the manual door override switch.] As the sniper rifle sitting next to the switch would suggest, there are snipers in the next room that you will want that rifle for. Equip it and crouch behind the panel. When the door opens, peak from the left side and aim at the first sniper on the right side of the room. The second sniper is on the left side of the room, so lean out from the right side of the panel. The third is also located on the left side of the room, although you need to enter the room in order to get a shot at him. A fourth sniper is near where you killed the third one.

With the fourth sniper dead, you can proceed to the tram control panel. Unfortunately, it's locked down because the system detects an obstruction. Hop over the tram's railing to a platform below. Climb the ladder and immediately crouch. A fifth sniper will kill you if you start running across the catwalk. Instead, use the box near the top of the ladder for cover and aim at the sniper from there. Don't get excited, though, and dart across the catwalk just yet. Another pair of snipers are further down the way from the last one. Zero in on them as you inch slowly in a crouched position across the catwalk. Take the ladder on the catwalk up to the cargo control panel and activate the release on it.

Now, you can fight your way back to the tram and take it to Still Island. It's a hard fight, though, as at least half a dozen Replica soldiers show up. Conserve ammunition and use bullets wisely, otherwise you'll run out and end up getting killed. Use slow-mo and melee whenever you're close up to an enemy. Take the tram when the area is clear. When you arrive, walk off the tram and deal with Alma. Find a route through the crates and take the elevator up to the facility, ending the level.

XV. Climax

"Alma is closing in. You won't be able to resist her for much longer. You have arrived at the Still Island facility and must now rejoin your team and locate the Telesthetic Amplifier. Sgt. Keegan seems to be beyond your reach now."

Following the weird cutscene, exit the elevator and make your way outside to Alma's courtyard. On the other end from where you enter the yard is an opening to the sewage system. Drop into it, using the drainage pipe to reach the next area. Before leaving the pipe, kill the soldier near the ladder. [REFLEX INJECTOR #13: Can't miss it as you exit the drainage pipe.] Upon hopping down from the pipe, take aim at a few enemies near the concrete pillars to your right. When they're dead, go through the pillars and down the path to the right (there's nowhere else to go, really). Half a dozen Replicas will come toward you. This is an ideal time to pair grenades and slow-mo to get rid of them quickly. With the area clear, continue through the chain link fencing to the right, fighting a few more soldiers before meeting up with Manny. While Stokes hacks the door, mount the turret on the APC to defend the area and keep Manny alive. Scavenge for ammunition when the area is clear, then head into the airlock.

Once the airlock cycle ends, exit and meet up with Stokes. [INTEL #72, "Containing Alma": Sitting in front of the three computer monitors right after exiting the airlock.] Get into the elevator and press the button to go up. [INTEL #73, "Situation update": Lying on the ground near where you get off the elevator.] Make your way from the lift through the complex. [INTEL #74, "Power flow": In the office adjacent to the room where you got off the elevator; in front of the airlock.] Go through the airlock and down the chain link corridor to reach another airlock. [INTEL #75, "Music box": Sitting on the ground at the end of the chain link fence pathway in front of a doorway.] [INTEL #76, "Emergency shutdown": Located on a barrel immediately upon exiting the airlock.]

Now that you've arrived at the amplifier, you need to activate it. Begin by extending the bridge from the control panel to your left so you can access the amplifier. Take the bridge across and strap yourself into the chair. Watch the scene unfold as you sit helpless in the chair. When you resume control, you need to activate the control panel to turn on the amplifier. The first time you attempt to reach the control panel, you fail. Try again, this time using slow-mo to take out the enemies. You need to do it a third time, as well, using the same tactic. One final time tinkering with the control panel, a button-pressing sequence, and the game is over!
