Verudan Alley: "Helghast fiercely defend the approach to the Arc tower."

Sprint down the stairwell and prepare to meet a mess of Helghast. The best way to deal with the enemies here is hang back and let them come to you. Stay close to the door and kill them as they try to approach you. There are at least half a dozen Helghast that will do this, so have patience. When you're certain that no more will come at you, move forward slowly and eliminate the remaining Helghast situated along the staircase and on the machine gun. Rid yourself of the machine gunner first, mainly because it'll do the most damage. Zoom in and clear him out, then focus on whatever Helghast there may be on the staircase. Once the stairs are clear, go up being careful to take cover. There might be one or two Helghast at the top (depends on how efficient you were about killing them beforehand). Don't go to the top of the stairs until you kill every Helghast. Use the guard rail for cover and engage along the stairs. [SYMBOL #7: At the top of the stairs, turn right and shoot the symbol through the chain link fencing.] Head into the building and take the elevator up. [INTEL #4: An alcove on your left shortly after you enter the building has an intel briefcase.]

Cableway Heights: "The Arc Tower is within touching distance. Can ISA forces secure the area before launching the final assault?"

As you exit the elevator, you find yourself in view of the Arc Tower. Before you can get to it, however, you need to eliminate two mortar crews station on the rooftops. Resist the temptation to engage the Helghast from afar near the elevator. Instead, run across the metal walkway to meet up with allies that will help you in the fight. Go down the stairs to battle the mortar crews. There are plenty of cover points here, so make sure to use them as you pick off Helghast. Concentrate your fire and wait for enemies to peek out from cover. Move only when you're confident the coast is clear. Once you've killed the first set of Helghast, you have two options for pressing on: take the bridge across to the second mortar or use the alley to the right to sneak in behind. Both are equal in terms of difficulty. Since you have to eliminate all hostiles in the area anyway, it comes down to preference. When you've cleared the rooftops, proceed through the room located across from the second mortar. [INTEL #5: After eliminating the mortar crews, find the fifth intel briefcase in this room on the floor.] Walk up the stairs and outside to the metal catwalk. [SYMBOL #8: Turn around as soon as you go through the door and shoot the symbol located above the door frame.]

Cableway Rooftops: "Sev and Garza must destroy the Arc Tower as Helghast frantically try to retake lost ground."

Slowly inch up the stairs so that you can fire upon the Helghast on the roof near the Arc Tower. Kill them and take cover on the roof. Aim at the enemies next to the control panel to clear the area. Hop over the low barrier (you can also walk around) and activate the panel. The rods on the Arc Tower will be exposed, allowing you to shoot them. You can only destroy one before they close again and a couple of Helghast come in at your rear. Eliminate them and then fire on the last rod as the Arc Tower opens a second time.

IV. Visari Square

"Rico and Natko are pinned down and require assistance. Once reunited, Alpha Team rejoins Narville's forces as they advance on Visari Square."

[INTEL: 2]; [SYMBOLS: 5]

Prefect's Office: "While Garza heads off to meet up with Narville, Sev aids the ISA on his way to find Rico and Natko."

Move up with Garza along the rooftops to arrive in front of the Prefect's office. [SYMBOL #9: Step onto the walkway made of red metal grating. Using the other end of the walkway (where Garza is) as 12 o'clock, look for the symbol on a lighted building at 10 o'clock. It's the building with the colored Helghast icon.] Helghast defends appear below. From your position on the roof, begin eliminating enemies. Once enough forces have been cleared on the ground, hop through the hole in the roof to reach the ground. A squad of ISA forces joins on the ground floor of the building you as more Helghast stream from the office. Only a couple to deal with at street level, but it's the guys on the balcony that are the problem. Ignore them for the time being, running toward the office entrance to eliminate the two Helghast taking cover behind the pillars.

Go inside the building, killing whatever Helghast may be on the first floor (depending on how many you killed outside it may only be a single enemy or several). Head up the stairs, noting that an open area near the top of the stairs is guarded by a couple Helghast. Chuck a grenade in the open locker room to get them, moving through when it's clear to the balcony. Now you can eliminate these guys. Use the door at the other end of the balcony to enter another area of the office populated with more Helghast. All the way at the end of this room, the roof has been torn out. Look through that gap to find a Helghast that you need to kill. He will shoot at you as you move through the rest of the office, so it's best to kill him now. Continue through the garage. [SYMBOL #10: Look inside one of the doors cracked open above the garage to find the symbol.] Drop down the hole in the floor to proceed to the alleyways.

Malik Back Alleys: "Behind the Prefect's office a back alley links up to the downed intruder site."

[INTEL #6: The briefcase is located behind the desk in this room, right before you exit the Prefect's office into the alley.] Exit the building and immediately whip out your knife to kill the Helghast at the pillar on your left. Walk up the alley along that path to encounter a second soldier. Rush up the staircase and eliminate a rifleman after that. Shoot the electrical box to disrupt the power supply to the door, opening it. [SYMBOL #11: With all the Helghast cleared from the back alley, move forward to the second set of stairs (you should be standing next to a chain link fence. Look up and behind you to find the symbol on the angle wall.] Go through the door, open the next one, and step down the stairs to reach Ostoja End.

Ostoja End: "Rico and Natko are under attack near the downed Intruder. Sev must reach them before it's too late."

You're now located in a set of buildings above Rico and Natko near the downed Intruder. Before emerging from the doorway out of the stairwell, take aim at the Helghast firing upon your buddies on the concrete walkway viewable through the barbed wire. Stock up on ammunition at the weapons rack to the left, then high tail it across the walkway to eliminate Helghast forces on this side of the building. Walk up the stairs and kill whatever enemies may remain up here. [SYMBOL #12: Go up the first staircase at your left and turn around for this symbol.] There are two enemies on the ground that you should wipe out before using the ladder on the second floor. The reason: two Helghast appear as soon as you step off the ladder. Throwing a grenade works well in either killing them both or scattering them so you can pick them off one-by-one. Meet up with Rico and Natko by hopping over the barricade.

Union Storage Yard: "Sev finally reaches Rico and Natko. Although the circumstances could have been much better."

Rico and Natko are at the far corner in the yard, so walk over and help them defend against the several waves of Helghast that are about to appear. As they discuss the survivors of the Intruder crash, collect any supplies you may need. There are several weapons racks and ammunition boxes lying around. The first set of Helghast come into the yard over the barricade you jumped over at the start of the section. A second wave appears following the arrival of a Helghast dropship above one of the buildings. Keep an eye on the balconies of that building to strike at the soldiers that emerge from the dropship.

Another set of soldiers will come from the dark alley to the left of the defensive position when Rico attempts to open a door on an adjacent building. Hold your ground, using the sandbags for cover as you shoot down the forces. More enemies arrive on the top floors surrounding the yard. An easy way to deal with them is climb up the stairs next to where the Helghast are dropping in and knife them as they enter the yard. Once those guys are down, the ground shakes as a Helghast transport busts through a wall. When black smoke clouds your view, throw a grenade to try eliminating most of the forces. As you slowly mop up the remaining enemies, a few more arrive over the barricade. Rico will open a door once the area is clear. [SYMBOL #13: Find this symbol on a wall to the right of the ladder. If you have trouble locating this, wait until Rico attempts to open the door midway through the fight, then look to his right and up to find it.] Go into the building and make your way to Visari Square. [INTEL #7: Next to Garza in the kitchen is the last briefcase in this level.]

The Square: "Alpha Team manages to reach Visari Square just in time for the ISA's assault on it."

Upon dropping into the square, your first order is to secure it by eliminating the Helghast attacking the ISA forces already there. Move up the stairs cautiously, taking out any enemies you encounter. Play it safe--don't go rushing up the stairs, as you're likely to get overwhelmed. Let your buddies help out by shooting enemies too. The knife is particularly helpful when you have a few Helghast near each other for quick kills. After clearing the area, Captain Narville explains more Helghast are on the way. Climb the ladder to the roof of the small ammunition shack and pick up the sniper rifle. Use it to take out enemies at a distance as they appear down the square. A second wave, this one supported by an APC, arrives. There are more Helghast than the first wave, so make sure you're reloading behind cover and throwing grenades at groups of soldiers taking cover together. When these guys are cleared, the tram at the back of the square descends with half a dozen more troops. Just stand near the tram and shoot the soldiers as they come out of the aerial tram. Now, onto the final wave. Two heavies stomp into the square on the left and right sides. Before you engage them, mount one of the machine guns to clear some of the Helghast troops that stream in with the heavies. You can also eliminate one of the heavies via the machine gun. Do that before dismounting and rushing over to the other side to kill the second one. Remember, you need to shoot it in the head and blast the red tanks on its back. Wipe out any remaining forces after the heavies are killed to end the mission.

V. Salamun District

"Captain Narville's convoy is poised to seize the main bridge over Corinth River but the bridge is blown up and Sev is separated from the rest of the convoy."

[INTEL: 3]; [SYMBOLS: 4]

Canal Bank: "Taking to the sewers and back alleys, Sev picks his way through Salamun District to rejoin the convoy at the north bridge."

Having leaped off the bridge before it went up in flames, you now need to make your way through canal system to rejoin the convoy. Shoot the power box to stop the electric current from block the pipe. Enter the pipe and walk until you reach a tear in its side that provides a nice vantage point for shooting the two Helghast on the opposite side of the room. Zoom in and kill them before climbing out of the pipe. [SYMBOL #14: Exit the pipe and walk to the left. Go to the edge of the walkway and look down and to the right for the symbol on the wall.] As you walk right along the catwalk, notice the red laser bisecting you way. Don't walk through it! Shoot the explosives attached to the wall where the laser is emanating to bypass the trap. Climb down the ladder and take out the Helghast that shows up when you reach the ground. Scramble up the set of ladders to reach the other side, grabbing any ammunition you may need before meeting up with Garza in the courtyard.

Dushan Tower Courtyard: "Garza and Sev are reunited. All that separates the two friends is a couple of flights of stair and a whole lot of Helghast."

As Garza gabs, walk to the door in the far right corner. A dropship dumps a squad of Helghast into the courtyard, a few of which descend into the stairwell in front of you. Kill them and turn around to shoot the enemies on the balcony opposite from you. Go inside the first room on the second floor, eliminating the one Helghast soldier there. Walk through it, hit the checkpoint, then prepare to enter the second room by throwing a grenade inside. Mop up the remaining forces by going in and either slicing them with the knife or opening fire with a rifle. When the initial squad of Helghast in the second room has been killed, the wall explodes and another comes through from the adjoining room. Kill him, and then kill a second soldier using the counter in the next room over as cover. [INTEL #8: Sitting on a counter in the second room on the second floor is an intel briefcase.] Head up the stairs to reach the third floor. Move forward through the room ahead, climbing over the debris to the next room. Meet up with Garza as you eliminate the last few Helghast. Follow him to the loading bay.

Dushan Loading Bay: "Sev and Garza stop to silence a Helghast mortar battery before it destroys Captain Narville's convoy."

The first of two mortars is located on the ground floor to your left. As you approach it, throw a grenade to get a couple of the Helghast guarding it, and then take cover to eliminate the remaining soldiers. You probably want to prioritize the machine gunner on the balcony overlooking the mortar, then take out the Helghast at your level second. Set the charge when the enemies have been cleared from the area around the mortar. Before you head upstairs, work with Garza to eliminate any Helghast that use the machine guns on the balcony surrounding the loading bay, as well as those that stream in from the hallway near the first mortar. Make you way down that hallway, careful to shoot the soldier hiding in the corner as you climb the stairs.

When you walk up the stairs, note the three Helghast hiding under cover. A grenade will either kill them or cause them to move from cover, which at any rate gives you the opportunity to fire on them. Open the door to walk onto the balcony. Garza will join you in the all-out firefight that ensues between at least a dozen Helghast stationed throughout the loading bay. You may want to just backtrack to the room you just walked out of, using the doorway as a cover point to fire upon Helghast across the loading bay. [INTEL #9: There's a small room on the second floor of the bay that houses a briefcase on the floor.] When enough enemies have been dispatched, Garza will hack open the door across the catwalk. Go through it, after killing the two enemies that appear when the door first opens of course. To the left are a trio of Helghast that you can kill to access a weapons rack and grenades. [SYMBOL #15: Go through the door that Garza opens then take the first door to your left. Follow the walkway to its end to find the symbol on the wall to your right.]

Head right to continue to the second mortar. As you go up the stairs in the room to the right, turn to your right. That point of cover is hiding a pair of Helghast defenders that you want to eliminate before reaching the top of the stairs. Inch up the stairs and aim at the top of their heads, firing when you have a clear shot. There are two more when you finally do reach the second floor behind the first wall. Exit the loading bay through the door on the adjacent catwalk. Prepare to engage five Helghast when the door opens. Good time to throw a grenade and potentially earn yourself a trophy. Continue by dropping down through the holes in the floor until you reach the sewers. Follow the drainage pipe out to the shanties.

Corinth Shanties: "With the mortars no longer causing Captain Narville's convoy trouble, Rico advises Sev and Garza to link up with ISA detachment sweeping the nearby shanties."

Emerging from the drainage pipe puts you underneath the shanties. Make your way through the flooded area to the edge of the shanties; there are ramps to walk up. [SYMBOL #16: As you emerge from beneath the shanties, look back toward the loading bay. At the top of the second pillar near the wall is the symbol.] A wounded ISA soldier sitting against a makeshift house is calling out for help, but it's a trap set by the Helghast to lure you into combat. As soon as you approach him, they open fire and kill him, enemies appearing throughout the shanties. The key during this battle is to utilize the shanties for cover. With so many enemies in such a confined space, standing out in the open is suicide. When the shooting starts, move forward and take the first opening to the left. Follow it up to the second floor of the shanties, taking out Helghast along the way.

A dropship will descend when you've killed most, but not all, of the Helghast in the area. Things get hard at this point with more soldiers and two rocket troopers. These must be your priority; otherwise they will kill you in one hit. One rocket trooper appears in the far right corner of the shanties and the other is on the left side; both can be found on the second floor. It's better to get close to them and melee or shoot them at point blank, as distance shots leave you vulnerable to rockets. Of course, you also need to eliminate the other enemies in the area too before the gate on the second floor to the right of the machine gun opens the way forward. Work with Garza to climb up to the now open gate. Go through it and down the hallway to reach another drainage room. Before running down the hall like a second grader on a sugar rush, shoot the explosive traps tied to those red lasers darting across the floor. Climb the ladder on the other side to arrive at the embattled convoy.
