Suljeva North: "Sev and Rico give chase to their captured buddies who are being escorted towards the train station."
When you exit the maintenance office, you discover the control room and surrounding area in flames. The Helghast are taking Natko, Garza, and Evelyn into possession. You need to follow them, first eliminating the forces that stay behind to keep you from doing just that. All the enemies are concentrated in the area around the elevator. Load up on ammunition using the rack underneath the stairs across from the elevator, then climb those stairs to take a vantage point slightly above the Helghast. Use the railing for cover, popping up to kill enemies one at a time. The LMG troopers are the toughest, so aim for them as a matter of priority. You can shoot a red barrel near the gate ahead to kill a couple at once too. Move from the Badlands into the tunnels when the area is clear.
Waystation 14: "The train is about to leave. Will Sev and Rico make it in time?"
Continue through the tunnels until you reach weapons rack. Stock up and go up the stairs to encounter two Helghast chatting. Kill them, then turn to the left to eliminate a couple more Helghast on the walkway there. Aerial drones appear when these guys are dead. Move back to the stairs to avoid getting shot, emerging to aim at the drones. The door across from the stairs opens when you've destroyed the drones, letting three Helghast in. Kill them, then go through the hallway on the other side to engage another couple enemies.
As you exit the tunnels, you have a new objective: secure the train in order to follow your kidnapped allies. Before exiting this first room in the train station, grab the sniper rifle and kill the rocket troopers using the tiny window to the left of the weapons rack. That will make it much easier in this initial section. Swap out the sniper rifle for the LMG or another rifle, then go down the stairs outside the building to begin engaging the Helghast on the first floor. [INTEL #15: Locate on the other side of a cargo container next to the first set of stairs you walk down when you enter the train station.] Use the Petrusite containers to your advantage, shooting them to kill any enemies in the vicinity. After defeating the half dozen soldier on the first floor, climb the staircase to reach the network of catwalks. Snake through them, shooting Petrusite containers to kill enemies and firing on the rest with your rifle. [SYMBOL #25: The symbol hangs on the pillar separating the two train tracks. It's on your left as you make your way across the catwalk to jump down onto the train.] The rocket troopers on the catwalks may be problematic if you don't get them early, which is another valid reason for exploding the containers on the catwalks. You could also grab a sniper rifle and take them out from a distance. Either way, eliminate all resistance to access the end of the catwalk and jump onto the train.
VIII. Tharsis Refinery
"Rico and Sev need to search Tharsis Refinery for their kidnapped teammates."

Suljeva Minetrain: "Sev and Rico must take control of the Helghast train if they have any chance of finding their captured buddies alive."
You start the level with only your revolver, so the first objective has to be finding a better weapon as you make your way to the engine. Walk up the train cars until you run into a submachine gunner next to a tank. Kill him with your revolver, then pick up his gun. Another submachine gunner after him, plus a Helghast with a shotgun. Continue along the car until you reach an enclosed space. Stock up on ammunition via the weapon rack next to the tank, heading along the right side of the car on the lower level when done. Go around the crates to the next section of the car where Helghast are waiting. Take them out, shooting at the Petrusite cargo for area damage. Exit the car when the area is safe. Continue up the train to find a functional tank. Mount the turret in anticipation of Helghast coming in from the front of the car. Defending against the onslaught is surprisingly easy, mainly because of all the Petrusite crates that you can shoot. When you think you've eliminated every enemy, dismount the turret. There's a chance that another couple Helghast will appear anyway, but you should be able to handle a couple of enemies without needing to mount the turret again.
Head up to the next car around the stacked crates. As you come around, notice the tank and about a dozen Helghast defending it. You must make destroying the tank the priority, otherwise the enemies will keep spawning. Grab the rocket launcher on the weapons rack ahead and fire one on the tank. Immediately back track to the crates near the end of the car. Reload and switch over to your revolver to deal with any Helghast bearing on your position. When there's a lull in the action, take another shot on the tank. Keep repeating the pattern until you destroy it. Move up to the bridge to the next car. While you've rid yourself of the tank, you still have plenty of Helghast to deal with. They continue to stream in from the roof of the next car. Take cover behind one of the crates and kill them as they drop onto the deck of the car. When the coast is clear, run through the building to reach the engine room.
Tharsis Station: "After securing the train, Sev and Rico infiltrate the refinery."
Three Helghast accost you when you deboard the train, so rebuff their attacks by shooting them up. [SYMBOL #26: At the very tip of the train is a symbol.] Help Rico over the chain link fence after you've killed the three soldiers. After he's over, another squad of Helghast arrive. Eliminate them, then go through the open door to enter the lower refinery complex.
Lower Refinery Complex: "Sev and Rico split up and must search the refinery alone for their captured buddies."
Once you drop through the floor, you're prevented from going any further due to a Petrusite leak. Turn it off by shooting the switch down the hall. You should note that through the refinery are more of those Petrusite-infused spiders, so don't get caught off guard. Exit the hall to encounter Helghast guarding the lift to the processing complex. Two are immediately out the doorway, both easy kills. More are situated on the catwalk surrounding the lift. You can shoot the Petrusite canisters in the area if the soldier walk near them, but you're probably going to have to fight them normally or rushing up and executing them with a melee attack. Disable the electrical current running in front of the lift by shooting the switch to the right of it on the wall. Activate the lift when you're done.
Depart on the lower level, walking forward to meet your new best friend: the Arc Trooper. This dude is equipped with an electricity gun that fires a stream of pure electricity. Much like the heavy, it's only vulnerable from behind; red tanks on its back can be shot to kill it. You can't shoot it's head, though, to make him turn around; instead, you need to coax it underneath the conveyor line of Petrusite containers running overhead. Shoot one and it will drop, stunning him. Run behind him and shoot the red tanks. It should only take a few times before he explodes and you can grab the electricity gun for yourself. Climb up the ladder to the left of the lift (when look away from it) to flip a switch opening a door to the next section.
Processing Complex: "Sev must sit and ride it out in unlikely transportation while he makes his way through the refinery."
Climb up the ladder, walk across the platform, and up another ladder to a catwalk. Head across to the conveyor line of crucibles. Jump into one and prime the electricity gun for the enemies ahead. Just fry Helghast as they come into view. If you need to replenish the gun, crouch and hold down square. When the line ends, shoot the electrical box on the building to your left and you're automatically dumped out of the crucible. Head into the control room, zapping the handful of Helghast inside. [INTEL #16: In the room is a briefcase sitting on top of a counter. Grab after you've killed all the Helghast in the room.] Proceed by exiting the room and following the walkway to the shipping department.
Cross-Facility Shipping: "Whilst trying to get back to Rico, Sev is in for a surprise as a new type of enemy attacks."
The electricity gun is indispensable when traipsing through the shipping area because of all of the aerial sentries that op up. As you wind through the crates to reach the elevator on the other end of the room, fry any sentries that appear. Stop and replenish the gun after destroying a sentry before moving forward. There's about 6-7 sentries to fight before taking the lift up. Walk off the lift and through the hallways until you reach Rico in the transportation control room.
Transportation Control: "Sev and Rico are reunited once again as they rendezvous at the control room."
Meet up with Rico and listen to his analysis of the refinery. [INTEL #17: The second briefcase of the level is on a table in the control room.] Exit the control room and follow Rico across the looooooong bridge. Drop down the platform on the other side and continue following him to find the other half of Alpha Team.
Central Observatory: "Alpha Team suffers a casualty as Garza is injured while Sev and Rico try to capture Radec."
Enter the room and watch the scene unfold between your guys and Radec. [SYMBOL #27: Following the cutscene, look to your right to find a symbol hanging at the top of the wall.] Start making your way up the observatory using the spiraling ramp. Zap any Helghast that file down, as well as sentries that descend down the center of the observatory. The electricity gun makes this very easy, so even if you think you're outnumbered firing a stream of electricity will likely eliminate the enemies you're facing. When you've reached the end of the spiraling ramp, either take the stairs or ladder up. Each leads to the same destination, although the stairs go right around the outer edge of the observatory and the ladder leads left. A handful of Helghast wait on top. Kill them and call the lift down for Evelyn and Garza via a switch in the control room up the stairs. Allow Natko to pick the lock on the door, then head through. Go up the set of stairs to reach the aerial dock.
Tharsis Aerial Dock: "Can Alpha Team hang on and survive until their evac arrives?"
Upon arriving, a Helghast ship takes off with Radec and his team. That leaves you to mop up any remaining forces in preparation for evacuation. Clear out all the enemies on ground level, then begin working on killing the Helghast on the surrounding deck. When you've cleared the landing zone, Evelyn and Garza come up to call the aerial support. Eliminate the Helghast that appear as Natko hacks open the door to the communications tower. Run up the stairs inside when he gets the door open and kill the Helghast at the top. Swap out the electricity gun for the sniper rifle and clear the landing zone for support to arrive. Once you've killed enough Helghast, an Intruder appears. Meet at the extraction point to end the mission.
