If you have obtained a wanted level during a mission you will automatically lose your wanted level upon successfully completing the mission unless losing your wanted level is part of the mission. This is helpful to remember when you're nearing the end of a mission and you accidentally bump into a cop car. As long as the police presence isn't keeping you from completing your mission, just ignore them and complete the mission.

Once you've completed a mission, if you want to give it another go, you can replay missions from the pegboard in any of your safe houses. Redoing a mission won't affect your completion percentage or other stats; it's just for the joy of reliving all of those fun, hoodlum moments. Obviously, you won't get any of the mission rewards again either so don't be thinking you're on your way to riches by playing the same missions over and over.

Random Characters

There are eight random characters and 14 total jobs to be done for the characters. Many of the jobs are simple "drive from point A to point B" missions, but some have interesting twists as well. One even nets you a safehouse. Lucky you. To start a random character mission, drive to the place where the character should be, and the character icon will show up on your GPS. Approach the character and you'll automatically start a conversation and the mission as well. Then just do what the mission demands and you'll be on your way.

Wilhelm

Wilhelm is a scumbag profiting off of the misery of others by buying up their foreclosed properties. Complete all three of his missions and you'll get a safehouse for your troubles.

Encounter 1: Wilhelm can be found in the Steinway district, only in the daytime. Pick him up and take him to City Hall. This mission is timed but the time limit is pretty generous. Reward: $250

Encounter 2: Also day only, this time Wilhelm is in Meadow Hills. Another trip to City Hall, another time limit. Reward: $500

Encounter 3: Your third and final encounter with Wilhelm starts with you finding him on the Dukes Bay Bridge and ends with you gaining a safehouse. Reward: Safehouse

Tommy

Tommy is afraid of the terrorists and wants you to supply him with some guns.

Encounter 1: Head to South Bohan, chat with Tommy and then hijack the nearby AmmuNation Truck and deliver it to Tommy. Make a note of where you deliver the van to. Reward: $100

Encounter 2: Go back to where you dropped off the truck (Northern Gardens, Bohan) and after instructing Thomas on the proper use of firearms, he'll start shooting up the place. Get the heck out of there and lose your 2-star wanted level. Reward: not getting busted

Selma

Selma needs a ride home after meeting a potential suitor. How handy you were around.

Encounter 1: Head to the Industrial district of Bohan at night to meet up with Selma. Drive her home and survive the conversational onslaught. Reward: $50

Encounter 2: Selma is waiting near Outlook Park in Broker for your second "date". Once she starts coming on strong, escape her needy clutches. She will get in a car with you if you're not fast enough however if she does, speeding up, bailing and then running away usually works to ditch her. Reward: continuing to live the single life

Marcy

Marcy likes speed, speed, speed, not to mention lawsuits.

Encounter 1: Pick Marcy up in the President's City part of Algonquin and then drive like a crazy person to get her excited. Near misses, oncoming traffic and jumps all work for Marcy, just make sure not to total the car with her in it as if she dies, it's mission over. Make a note of where you drop Marcy off so that you know where to pick her up for the second encounter. Reward: $200

Encounter 2: Marcy needs to be brought from the hospital in North Holland, Algonquin to her lawyer's office for some just desserts. Mmmm, dessert. Reward: the joy of seeing karma in action.

Giorgio

Giorgio needs your help proving that his wife is cheating on him. Ah, young love.

Encounter 1: During the day, Giorgio is next to his hot dog cart in Cerveza Heights, Broker. Follow the directions to bug his wife's car. Reward: $20

Encounter 2: Also during the day, this time Giorgio has moves his cart to the pool in Steinway. Give him a ride to catch his wife's naughty deeds. Reward: $20

Alonso

Alonso likes buses.

Encounter 1: Alonso is in Beechwood City, Broker. Pick him up, drive him to the bus depot and watch the show. Reward: $10

Cherie

Cherie does not like men.

Encounter 1: At night, Cherie is in an alley in the Northwood section of Algonquin. She'll sick her fellow working girls on you so blast your way out of there. Reward: not being dead
