To promote its upcoming action film, Running Scared, New Line Cinema has created a single-player third person shooter on the film's official website aptly titled Running Scared The Game. This mature themed game puts players right into some pretty hefty scenes recreated from the movie, with loads of gunplay, bad guys and buckets of bullets. You can jump right into the game right now by checking out www.runningscaredmovie.com . For those of you that make it past the first level of the game, but find yourself trapped we've even included some cheat codes at the very bottom of this page - don't use them unless you have to..

Each level of Running Scared The Game is an actual scene from the film recreated to let players battle with the movie's myriad of villains. There are also hidden sequences within the game that reveal an animated version of Running Scared director Wayne Kramer, portraying one of the gangsters from the film - luckily players can shoot this character if they want, but what the consequences of such an action will be is something you'll all have to find out on your own.

Also if you visit the official movie site located at www.runningscaredmovie.com , you can find a six minute movie trailer showing off the first part of the film. Running Scared is rated "R" (MPAA-approved "Mature Audiences") and is not intended for all audiences (the site features an age gate when you enter).

CHEATS

You can access the cheat codes by clicking on this link . We didn't include it here so as not to accidentally spoil anyone's game experience.

And if you need some further motivation to check out this game, then you should head over to our media section to check out these brand new in-game screenshots .
