Hatchet is a classic style horror film that tells the story of Victor Crowley, a monster created by an accident and the cruelty of his peers. One fateful night, a deformed young boy, forced to stay home because of the locals' ridicule, finds himself trapped in a fire set by some troublesome teenagers. As his father attempts to take down the door with a hatchet and save his son, he doesn't realize that his son is on the other side. Victor is literally hacked to death by his father, dying almost instantly. Some say that if you are brave enough to travel to Victor's old homestead and listen, you can still hear him crying out for his daddy.. but chances are you won't make it out of there alive... Hatchet will make its theatrical debut September 7th nationwide and is Rated R.

This DVD may have a lot of star power but its paper thin plot, bad acting and terrible fight scenes make it a lesson in why some movies shouldn't be imported..
