But then, the next week, as I was opening the store on a Tuesday morning, I got a phone call from The Barrister:

“Mike, I’m about to freak out here and I need you to check in the safe to see if there’s an envelope with some money in it.”

“No, I don’t see anything. What’s going on, did you lose a deposit or something?”

“Well, I don’t know…I can’t find that money we took in from Dragon Con.”
