Lionsgate will unleash the direct-to-DVD sequel to its animated feature length film Ultimate Avengers, with the release of Ultimate Avengers 2. Picking up where the previous film left off, Ultimate Avengers 2 once agin features the Marvel super hero group, The Avengers as they battle a new evil in the heart of Africa. Marquee Avengers characters return including Captain America, The Hulk, Iron Man, Thor and – for the first time ever in animated form – The Black Panther.

Set in the deep African kingdom of Wakanda, the film promises non-stop animated action that stays true to its comic book roots and boasts highly-entertaining bonus features including a gag reel, a featurette, DVD-ROM game and more. Ultimate Avengers 2 will be available on DVD on August 8th, 2006 for the suggested retail price of $19.98.

This martial arts film offers some wonderful fight scenes buried underneath an awful plot.
This DVD may have a lot of star power but its paper thin plot, bad acting and terrible fight scenes make it a lesson in why some movies shouldn't be imported..
