D3Publisher of America has been awarded for the 34th Annual Annie Awards in the Best Animated Video Game category for video game Flushed Away (the Game). The Award is hosted by the Hollywood branch of the Association Internationale du Film d’Animation, also known as D3Publisher is the only Japanese organization which was awarded this year. The group hopes that the award will bring a great leap forward in the industry. Flushed Away (the Game) is a video game based on the CG animation film from Dream Works Animation and Aardman. The October 2006 release in North America coincided with the release of the movie, and Europe followed with their release in the following months. Cumulative sales have marked 840,000 units within 3 months from the release, (as of December ’06).
