Top Irish companies make their presence felt at GDC.

Leading players in the games industry from Ireland have come together at GDC for the first time this week. Backed by the government agency, Enterprise Ireland, Selatra, Nephin Games and DemonWare will be in attendance individually and as a social grouping, spearheading the emerging games technology cluster in Ireland. Selatra's dynamic mobile games service brings new revenues to content managers striving to grow their mobile games revenues; Nephin Games creates original games that tap into the key strengths of mobile phones; DemonWare , which was purchased this week by Activision, develops and sells real-time network software for the electronic entertainment industry. Our focus lies in creating middleware and components that reduce the development workloads and risks associated with multiplayer game development; and
