MySpace gets political..
Date: Monday, March 19, 2007
Author: James Fudge

Normally we wouldn't cover politics or MySpace.com, but the 2008 presidential election will - in part - be played out on the popular social network thanks to a sub-section of the site that is specifically geared towards politics called impact.myspace.com . The site, which equally covers democrats and republican candidates, features pages for the likes of John McCain, Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton, John Edwards, Rudy Giuliani, Mitt Romney, Joe Biden, Ron Paul, Duncan Hunter and Dennis Kucinich.

The Impact Channel will house a voter registration tool, links to all official candidate profiles, content from GOOD Magazine, Impact-related event and job listings, videos, and programs. An Impact-specific profile type, to be rolled-out in the next several weeks, will offer Impact-makers special functionality including the network's first viral fundraising tool and customizable badges. Right now you can check out personal messages from each candidate among other stuff on each site.

This martial arts film offers some wonderful fight scenes buried underneath an awful plot.
This DVD may have a lot of star power but its paper thin plot, bad acting and terrible fight scenes make it a lesson in why some movies shouldn't be imported..
