The results of The Art Institute Online's recent scholarship contest are in. The contest, which was judged by Midway Games and Rapid Reality Studios, chose two winners in the "Live Your Creative Passion" scholarship competition. The competition kicked off April 18, 2007, and was designed to encourage individuals to become excited about reaching their full creative potential through art. During the first round of judging, the public at large had an opportunity to vote online for their favorite entries. More than 50,000 people visited the scholarship website and voted for their favorite entries. The entries that received the top 10% of votes from the public were reviewed by a panel of distinguished judges, including game industry veterans Richard Rouse of Midway Games and Tracy Spaight and DJ Cassell of Rapid Reality Studios, who selected the scholarship recipients.

Two scholarships, each in the amount of ten thousand dollars, were awarded to Orsolya Windhoffer, of Rockville, Maryland and Katherine Anderson, of Roscoe, Illinois. Windhoffer is currently enrolled at The Art Institute while Anderson is a prospective student.
