Popular MMORPG gets trading card game from Wizards of the Coast.

Wizards of the Coast and Nexon, announced today a significant expansion of Nexon's massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG) MapleStory. The new partners will launch the MapleStory iTrading Card Game (iTCG) in the US and Canada in November - just in time for the holidays. With the introduction of the MapleStory iTCG, Wizards of the Coast and Nexon will take TCGs to the next level by giving players a fully integrated experience between the online and offline worlds. The move is expected to draw more fans to "Maple World." Currently, the MapleStory MMORPG has more than 67 million worldwide registered accounts. In comparison, Blizzard Entertainment recently announced World of Warcraft had surpassed nine million subscribers worldwide.
