Genius Products and The Weinstein Company announced this week that DOA: DEAD OR ALIVE will be released under the Dragon Dynasty label on DVD September 11, 2007.

DOA: DEAD OR ALIVE is based on the best selling and ultra popular Dead or Alive videogame franchise. DOA is being billed as an all out action-packed extreme combat film about a secret invitational-only martial arts tournament where the world's best fighters participate in a contest to win the ultimate fighting championship. DOA: DEAD OR ALIVE focuses on four hot female fighters who begin as competitive rivals, but subsequently find themselves teaming up with one another against a much more sinister force.

Besides the film, the DVD features deleted scenes, Behind The Action Of DOA featurette, Dolby 5.1 support and more. The DVD is rated PG 13, has a runtime of 1 hour 26 minutes and will retail for $24.95.
