The winner of the "Out-A-Time" sweepstakes-chosen from over 50,000 entries-drove off in a classic 1981 Delorean this week as Universal Studios Hollywood turned the final page on its farewell to the legendary "Back to the Future-The Ride" attraction. Gary Kufchak of Wadsworth, Ohio was chosen at random from contestants who had registered online or during personal visits to Universal Studios Hollywood, The Entertainment Capital of L.A.

After thrilling over 61 million visitors with wild rides across "the space-time continuum," Universal Studios Hollywood officially closed the ground-breaking "Back to the Future-The Ride" attraction on Labor Day, September 3, 2007. The event drew significant media attention nationwide and visits from fans from across the U.S.

Gary Kufchak, a car aficionado who currently owns three vehicles, will now add a fourth to his collection -- a 1981 steel grey DeLorean - the inspiration for Doc Brown's flux capacitor-equipped time machines portrayed film franchise and popular theme park ride.

A signature attraction at "The Entertainment Capital of L.A." for over 14 years, "Back to the Future-The Ride," was closed to make way for the introduction of a new thrill ride based on the enormously popular "The Simpsons" TV series and movie. The Simpsons ride is slated to debut at Universal Studios Hollywood in Spring 2008.

Fewer than 10,000 DeLorean automobiles were built at the company's Northern Ireland factory. The car was notable for its futuristic design, including a stainless steel exterior and top-opening gull-wing doors.

A stellar cast and good action saves this movie from becoming Jackass with a plot.
This martial arts film offers some wonderful fight scenes buried underneath an awful plot.
This DVD may have a lot of star power but its paper thin plot, bad acting and terrible fight scenes make it a lesson in why some movies shouldn't be imported..
Congratulations to the winners!
