Aqua Teen Hunger Force Movie Review
14 out of 15
Willims Streets' demented and devilishly clever animated series transitions nicely to the big screen to deliver exactly what fans of the Adult Swim show want: gruesome, tasteless fun.

The great thing about the show is that it’s not really about anything in particular other than gross comedy and the characters’ misfortunes and dealings with people like aliens and robots and any other strange beings the creators can think to concoct. Not having a continuing storyline leaves lots of possibilities for episodes including killing the characters at the end of an episode - with the ability to bring them back next time without an explanation. I think rarely relying on politics and current events for show ideas proves the creativeness of Matt Maiellaro and Dave Willis as they continue to write fresh episodes for going on five seasons.

Now the movie itself is a must see for Aqua Tee fans as it answers a lot of questions I know some of us have had such as where the Aqua Teen Hunger Force came from and how they ended up in New Jersey of all places. Also I think it’s a must to catch it in the theater as I think it will lose its big movie feel when it goes to DVD. Although only about a million dollars when into the making of the film it definitely gives the impression of big budget animation at times. The film really feels like a regular movie and is easy to get sucked into.

The storyline for the movie is that the ATHF put together a piece of forbidden exercise Equipment that in turn starts to terrorize them and the rest of New Jersey. So our heroes do the only thing they can and start to run away from the problem. Unfortunately for them they are soon sucked in and forced to deal with the situation and figure out how to stop the deadly exercise machine. This of course puts them on another mystery they soon want to solve, where they came from. During which there are forced to deal with the Mooninites, the Cybernetic Ghost Of Christmas Past, The Plutonians and some other surprise guests from the TV show.

As far as I’m concerned Aqua Teen Hunger Force Colon Movie Film For Theaters is a must see for all fans as well as a great movie for anyone who likes grossly hilarious cartoons that like to make a mockery of everything. I was truly amazed when I found out the creators did most of the work on this movie in their spare time and at home. With great animation, a hilarious storyline and a million one liners soon to be quoted by fans everywhere, I have to insist you trust me and rush out to see this film as soon as possible.
