The top downloads for the week ending August 17th, 2007.

Finally on the 360 (phew) there’s a new FEAR map pack (FREE) and a Lost Planet Multiplayer map has been reduced to FREE as well.

GameTap

The GameTap offerings aren’t has strong as they have been in previous weeks, but this week's game are of good quality. Hitman Blood Money makes its way over to the service. As required by Federal Law, there are 2 new Neo Geo games both based off Fatal Fury. Not much else to write home about here for me, so check the full list at the end of this article.

PlayStation Store

We end things this week with the always fun PlayStation store. Apparently they don’t realize I have an article deadline because their Thursday release schedule is “whenever we get around to uploading stuff on the server” (as opposed to the Wii’s 12 noon release time and the Xbox 5AM or so release time and GameTap’s midnight release time). Because of this I had wrote a paragraph lambasting Sony, but then they go and upload two new demos – NCAA Football 08 and DiRT along with a TimeShift Trailer. I’m guessing most people that were interested in NCAA Football already bought the game, but the DiRT demo is worth trying out. We went to press (damn deadlines) before I could try the game out for you, but if it’s similar to the Xbox 360 version (find the review here ), it’s going to be worth checking out.

Well that ends another week in the weird, wacky world of digital downloads. The full list of additions is below in our ‘master list.’ When you’re done reading, start downloading! Especially that BioShock demo? Did I mention that already? Ok. Have a great weekend.
