The Indies Issue #18
It is ironic that we return to the world of the living during eve of Halloween...

Some might say that Meridan4's latest published property, The Chosen: Well of Souls isn't exactly an indie game. Even though Rebelmind'sa latest game has multiple deals for distribution going like TotalGaming.net's deal with Meridian4 to publish their products online, it maintains the spirit of an indie title.

In The Chosen, the name of absolute evil is Marcus Dominus Ingens, a a powerful sorcerer who became immortal after unraveling the mystery of the ancients. But his thirst for absolute power can not be satisfied with mere immortality... With armies of demons and devils are at his command. Marcus decides that he must destroy the God's Envoy.

While he is too weak to do this, he finds a source of power in human souls. Each new soul makes Marcus more powerful, while God's Envoy becomes weaker and weaker. And that's where you come in. In order to defeat Marcus and foil his plans you as one of the few Mystery Guards, must risk your life in the fight against Marcus. Learn more at the link above.

Finally comes word from Manifesto Games that they are offering Digital Eel's cool Plasmaworm game for free, If you have never tried this wonderful game from the folks at Digital Elle than you owe it to yourself to take it for a spin right now. Bonus Round: Ooki Bloks Rock

Studio Work3 and Hermitgames are working on an ultra slick looking puzzler called Ooki Bloks that you'll definitely want to keep an eye on. This game is cuter than a sack full of sugar coated kittens! Check out the movie below and you'll agree!
