Mr. Binky’s Random Stuff: More Wii Fit Exercises!
Mr. Binky devises more exercises to supplement your Wii Fit workout.

After spending over a week with Wii Fit, I’ve determined that the exercises are good, but insufficient to properly train me to handle the rigors of my every day life. Knowing that you may be in the same boat, I’ve come up with some additional exercises that you can do with the Wii balance board to get you in shape in no time. Yes, round is a shape.

Exercise 1: The Sandwich Cut

Sure, the balance board is a fantastic peripheral, capable of measuring your position 60 times per seconds, but it also makes for a kick ass cutting board. This exercise works your wrist and hand muscles. Be sure to push down hard, especially when cutting through multiple layers of roast beef. For an added workout, be sure to put several layers of drag inducing mayonnaise.

Exercise 2: The 12 oz. Curl

Here’s how to complete this very rigorous workout that works your arm muscles as well as your stomach muscles and your liver:

  • Step 1. Grab 12 oz beverage in same hand as Wiimote.
  • Step 2. Bring beverage to lips and take a long swallow.
  • Step 3. Repeat Steps 1 – 2 until beverage is gone.
  • Step 4. Complete Steps 1 – 3 with additional beverages. Note that your balance may decrease with increased repetitions.
