- No changing characters between rounds
Communication and Tournament Adjudication
- Tournament sign-ups are to be held on the GameShark Contest forum
- Tournament to be completed within a 3-4 hour period, at a time and date to be determined
- All entrants and Tournament Administrator(s) MUST log into pre-set chat room / voice channel for official tally, announcements, progression, etc.
- All entrants are to exchange / add Xbox Live GamerTags of participants
- XBL mic communication / party chat strongly encouraged among entrants
- Entrants to confirm victory / losses in pre-set chat room / voice channel
- Entrants will have a single disconnect waiver either for each bracket round or the whole of the tournament; any further disconnects will count as a match loss against the offending entrant
- The Contest Administrator and Sponsor are not responsible for any entrant's inability or failure, for any reason, to participate in any match within the timeframe determined by the Contest Administrator.
- By participating, entrants agree to be bound by these official rules and the decisions of the Sponsor (Mad Catz) and the Tournament Administrator(s), which shall be final in all respects.
Eligibility
- GameShark.com forum members with a minimum of 100 posts and with a good account standing of no less than six (6) months are eligible to participate.
- The Street Fighter IV Contest is open only to legal residents of the fifty (50) United States (including D.C.)
- Entrants must own or have access to a copy of the Street Fighter Xbox 360 game, have a subscription to Xbox Live (Gold Membership) and own or have access to an Xbox 360 game system.
- Mad Catz and the Tournament Administrator(s) have the final say on entrant eligibility and reserves the right to disqualify any entrant at their sole discretion.
Prize & Redemption
- One (1) SFIV Akuma FightPad for Xbox 360 to be given to the winner of the tournament.
- No cash or prize substitution is allowed.
- Please allow 2-3 weeks for the delivery of the prize.
- Return of any prize as undeliverable will result in disqualification, to be rewarded to the next runner-up.
- Where permitted by law, winner may be required to sign an affidavit of eligibility of liability/prize acceptance within 14 days of prize receipt.
- If the winner is a minor, the prize may be awarded to the winner's parent or legal guardian.
- By acceptance of prize, the winner agrees that Mad Catz, and it's affiliate companies, subsidiaries, parent companies, advertising and promotion agencies, and their respective officers, directors, employees, representatives and agents will have no liability whatsoever for and will be held harmless against any injuries, losses and damages of any kind alleged to or resulting in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from acceptance, possession, misuse or use of any prize or participation in this contest.
