Hdtextures

What it is: This modification improves the resolution of the game, revamping the textures so that every little detail pops.

Why you want it: BioWare dumbed down the resolution to make Dragon Age more accessible. But if you have a great computer that can handle the extra load, why not play the game in its most perfect form? You will most definitely notice the difference.

Warning: When I say great computer, I mean it. According to the website, Hdtextures requires twice the RAM and VRAM. Furthermore, the game's loading times increase. Test it out and if you aren't impressed, just delete or move the files.

Slap Morrigan

What it is: For every dialogue tree between yourself and Morrigan, you always have an additional option on top of the many things you can say. It reads, “Bad Morrigan!” When you choose it, your character backslaps Morrigan with a 50% chance that she'll retaliate. The conversation then continues as though the fight never happened.

Why you want it: How many times have you wanted to give Morrigan a little taste of her own medicine, but you can't because it would drop your approval rating? With this add-on, you may not be able to offer a witty retort, but you can still release a bit of angst without consequence whenever she sasses you.
