Set quite sometime before the motion picture, Rise of the Akkadian tells the story of a young Mathayus (Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson) and his desire to become a great warrior. Starting from his initial ambition to become a member of an elite assassins guild known as the Akkadians, all the way to his rise as a prominent monarchial bad ass, the videogame is about as plot oriented as the movie itself.
