Meet The Ultra Gamers
JupiterResearch finds a 22 percent segment of gamers called "ultra console gamers."

According to data gathered by JupiterResearch 22 percent of console gamers fall in the ultra console gamers category, spending more than five hours per week playing games. Detailed in a new JupiterResearch report, "Audience Segmentation: Coaxing Gamers up the Consumption Ladder," these gamers spent more than $50 in the last six months on console game software. Gamers that spent more than five hours per week playing games spend between 20 and 100 percent more money on game software than low-play intensity segments.
