Generations Productions announced that its internationally acclaimed composer Winifred Phillips (whose work includes the upcoming “Shrek the Third” video game) has recorded a “Super Mario Brothers” tribute track to celebrate the company’s four years of success in the video game industry. Since the company was founded in 2003, Winifred has created original musical scores for four blockbuster games: “The Da Vinci Code”, “God of War”, “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory”, and “Shrek the Third”. To commemorate this achievement and to celebrate the importance of music in video games, Winifred created the all-new recording “Go Mario! (Super Mario Brothers)”, a tribute track saluting the 20th anniversary of the release of the original game. Winifred worked with award-winning music producer Winnie Waldron, her long-time partner at Generations Productions, on this track.

Winifred’s music will be featured on the album “The Best of the Best: A Tribute to Game Music”, which will be available exclusively on May 1st at Game Music Central .
