Mad Catz Interactive, a leading third-party video game accessory provider, announced today that it has expanded its license agreement with National Football League Properties (NFL) whereby it produces customized NFL team controllers and other accessories for the PlayStation 2, PlayStation 3, Xbox, Xbox 360, PSP, Nintendo DS Lite, and Nintendo Wii gaming consoles. The new agreement expands the original 2004 license agreement between Mad Catz and the NFL to allow Mad Catz to distribute licensed products in Canada, Mexico and the United Kingdom, in addition to the U.S.

"The expansion of our NFL license is consistent with our overall strategy to offer both new and existing higher margin licensed products and accessories to gamers worldwide. The National Football League is the most popular spectator sport in the U.S. and Mad Catz is pleased to support the 32-team league's increasing focus and commitment to international markets by providing stylish branded accessories for gamers in the United Kingdom and all of North America. With its enormous and growing fan base, its no wonder that our previously released NFL controllers and other accessories were solid sellers as football fans are also avid video game fans," said Darren Richardson, President and Chief Executive Officer of Mad Catz.
