Jon Susser gets a promotion.

MTV Networks' Entertainment Group has promoted Jon Slusser to senior vice president, Spike digital and video games. The promotion was announced by Erik Flannigan, executive vice president, digital media, to whom Slusser will report. He is based in Santa Monica, CA. Slusser was formerly vice president, MTVN and CEO, GameTrailers.

In his new role, Slusser will be responsible for management of the coming merger of the male-oriented, online video site, iFILM with Spike TV as Spike.com, bringing Spikešs broadband and television assets to further strengthen the Entertainment Groupšs digital reach to the coveted male 18-34 demo.
