According to Production Charts.com , the big screen version of Max Payne is set to start shooting next month in Toronto. Starring Marky Mark Mark Wahlberg as the brooding protagonist, the movie will follow the story of New York police officer Max Payne whose wife and baby are killed by thugs high on a designer drug called Valkyr. Max takes matters into his own hands after he is framed for the murders by the police and the mob and tries to track down the true killers and the makers of the drug.
