GameShark Game of The Year 2010

It’s that time of year – time to look back and dish out awards for the cream of the 2010 crop. Like most years, we saw our share of sequels: some good, some bad, and some middle of the road. It was another year of the zombie, but also a year of the cowboy (with zombies!), the assassin, fables, worgen, EA Sports, Big Daddy, and Commander Shepherd. Zergs were back in vogue as were civilizations, open worlds, giant apes, mobsters, Vegas, DJs, robots, Mario, Space Marines (the real ones), modern warfare, and spies. We also witnessed new properties revolving around radioactive Russians, hair wearing witches, and a new spin on World War II real-time strategy.

Was it a great year in gaming? That’s debatable. But we’re sure 2011 will be the best year ever for videogames! You can trust us. Really. It’s a stone cold lock!

We’ll see you there.
