Fall of Man
The must-buy for early PS3 adopters, Resistance: Fall of Man actually lived up to the hype as a fast-paced shooter with great graphics, a varied array of unique weapons and enemies, and an intriguing setting in 1951 England. Opting to deliver quality presentation and clean, refined gameplay over re-inventing the FPS wheel, Insomniac set the stage for a sequel with the tale of US soldier Nathan Hale as he fights off the Alien Chimera who have run roughshod over Europe and will most likely threaten the rest of the world next. - Thomas Gerbasi, GameShark Contributor. |

| Fight Night Round 3
The only game that truly portrays boxing as a sport and not just a brutal button mashing exercise, Fight Night Round Three
for the PS3 is the best and most complete version of the EA Sports franchise. Not only are the graphics a step above it’s
next gen 360 cousin, but the new ‘Get in the Ring’ first person mode puts you right in the middle of the action. Some
bizarre scoring, repetitive commentary, and an average fighter selection are valid issues, but the gameplay remains second to none. - Thomas Gerbasi, GameShark Contributor. |

| Marvel: Ultimate Alliance
Of all the launch titles on the PS3, Marvel Ultimate Alliance is the most fun and the best way to waste some quality time
with a friend. Like the other releases of this super hero powered action role-playing game, the PS3 version delivers a
compelling adventure chalked with plenty of Marvel’s greatest heroes as they take out all your favorite bad guys. Sure, the PS3 version isn't all that different than on other platforms, but it is nonetheless a solid gaming experience that will keep you busy for countless hours. |

| Tiger Woods PGA Tour 07
EA Sports may have released this popular golfing franchise on other platforms, but Tiger Woods for 2007 just looks fantastic
on the PlayStation 3. Like many other PS3 launch titles, Tiger Woods PGA Tour 07 for the PS3 offers the same kind of
experience on other platforms, but looks as good as it plays. Fans that paid attention to EA's portion of the Sony Press event at the 2006 Electronic Entertainment Expo got to see the first glimpse of game generated Tiger that looked and acted like the real deal. In November gamers with High Definition television sets got to see EA's vision come to life and were well pleased. or a launch title, Tiger Woods PGA Tour 07 does manage to keep things real and delivers a gameplay experience and a game world that is cool and beautiful. |

| Call of Duty 3
Activision's World War II sequel is a welcomed addition to the rather sparse early line-up of the PS3, and while it doesn't
go out of its way to change the basic formula from last year, it is nonetheless a thrilling and intense action game that
delivers slick visuals, some interesting settings and the fun gameplay that fans have grown to appreciate. Call of Duty 3
looks every bit as good as its Xbox 360 counterpart and online play is just as fun this time around as it was last year. For
these reasons, Call of Duty 3 deserves a nod for being a decent launch title for the PS3.
