Bloodbath Challenge; Man Golf

The goal here is to grab zombies and knock their heads through the rings hanging above the courtyard. Use the golf club's B attack to grab the zombies and then just line up your arcs to make your shots. You'll know that you hit a head through the rings when you hear and see the glass within the ring breaking.

5.) Man Golf is so easy that you should have exceeded or be very close to the 1.8 million points needed to get the torch. The torch's A attack is a basic swipe, nice for setting dudes on fire. The B button lets Jack blow fire out in front of him for some hot zombie torching action.

6.) Keep on killing until you get your ultimate goal of 2.5 million points and a shot at The Shamans.

Boss Battle: The Shamans

The Shamans can be quite annoying as there are quite a bit of them. As soon as you have control of Jack, try and bust ass upstairs before the wheel of mini-shamans do damage to you. Once the party breaks up use your mini-map to find the main Shaman and start hitting him with chainsaw slashes. Keep running after the main Shaman as he runs away from you and attack as much as you can. When the Shaman puts his hands to his face, dodge so that you can get out of the way of his howl, which will stun you and leave you open. Dodging this attack also allows you to get into a Power Struggle with The Shamans. Keep up the attacks and eventually you'll take that doggie for a nice little walk. The rank of 49 is now yours.

Mad Castle

The Dungeon

Time for another confession. This level took me three attempts to get through. The enemies are tough, the final boss is tough and unlike in previous levels, Jack can fall to his death, which is how I lost two of my three lives in my first attempt. Don't worry though, I'll get you through this one no problem. Trust me.

1.) The area can be hard to navigate, but luckily there's plenty of carnage inducing instruments at every turn. The cells to your left as you enter the area have plenty of spikes, spinning saw blades and even some sewer pipes to chuck zombies into. To the right is a large courtyard with a switch that sends a blade around the courtyard slicing zombies in half. If you make your way through the cells and back out to the courtyard you can find a catapult that will chuck zombies up into the statue's sword. It's a great place to farm kills. Finally, if you jump up on to the boxes found in one of the cells, you can make your way to the upper levels, which will allow you to navigate via zip lines to even more treasures, but we'll get to that in a minute.

2.) Along with the regular zombies you'll have scissor wielding zombies that can ruin your day in short order. Dodge their pincer moves and take them out quickly.

3.) Once you score 100,000 points, the Big Long Driller will enter the fight. This guy is like the Big Bull Crockers, except he takes multiple Power Struggles to go down. Watch for his little hop move before he charges to initiate the Power Struggle. If he doesn't hop, dodge at the last moment to do a slow motion roll and follow up with some chainsaw slashes.

4.) If you're in the courtyard with the statue, you may see a Jack Balloon. Don't worry about it yet as you can't jump to it and if you try, you'll waste a life plummeting to your death. We'll get to it eventually.

5.) At 175,000 go and get a spiked bat and have fun with it.

6.) At 530,000 points you'll get a Happy Onion. To get it, climb the boxes in the cells and run, don't walk, run down the hallway. Once you start down the hallway the floor will raise up to crush you, so don't dawdle. Doing so will cost you a life. Once you get to the Happy Onion, if there isn't a hole in the wall to exit, wait and eventually the Big Long Driller will break through the wall, providing you an exit. I'd save the Happy Onion until you really need it, but that's just me.

7.) From here, head out and stand under the zip line. When prompted, press and hold the A button. It's important that when using the zip lines you hold the A button as if you don't, you'll zip a little and then fall and die. It's very annoying.

8.) When you get to the next platform, turn left, run and jump to the next platform. Use this zip line to get to the next platform.

9.) Take out all of the zombies and notice the spike at the far end, to the left of where you arrived. Sticking a zombie on it will raise a bucket with a torch on it.

10.) Notice that spike next to it? Sticking a zombie on it will raise another bucket with our elusive Jack Balloon on it. Yay!

11.) Use the next zip line to make it to another platform and from here you can fall off of the edge to the area below.

12.) Do what's necessary to get to 700,000 points and you'll unlock the next Bloodbath Challenge found in the center courtyard.

Bloodbath Challenge: Death Press 2

This Death Press is nothing like the last Death Press. This one is a thousand times more awesome. Note the giant upright hand. Your goal is to grab a zombie and chuck it into the hand. Once you do this, the hand will do a sweep and grab whatever zombies are milling around and then crush them. Throw another zombie into the hand and it will do a grab and crush, followed by a mad bout of madly crushing anything around it. You do not want to be around the hand when it does this, but you do want the zombies to be there. Keep chucking zombies into the hand until the time runs out.

13.) At 2.45 million points you'll unlock the daggers which are found in a Mayhem Dispenser at the last platform you could zip line to. Grab them, or don't, but they'll certainly make the last few points easier.

14.) Once you hit 2.65 million points, prepare yourself for the toughest boss battle, Frank. Hopefully you have three lives and have saved your Happy Onion until now so that you can enter the fight with a full health bar. Head to the gong and ring it to start the fight.

Boss Battle: Frank

When you start the fight, you'll be up top, on the landing and Frank will be in the water. For about 90% of this fight you do not want to be in the water, as if you are, Frank will destroy you rather quickly. Trust me on that one. Notice that there are two boxes and two barrels on the landing with you. You want to break the boxes for Happy Pills and throw the barrels at Frank to take a nice bit of damage off of him. Do not throw the boxes as then you can't get the pills. As Frank comes at you, dodge his attacks and then hit him with chainsaw slashes. When he pulls his hand swipe move, prepare for a Power Struggle and do your thing. After the struggle, Frank will be on his knees in the water, with you. Hit him with no more than two jumping chainsaw slices and then haul ass to the ramp or use the platform next to Frank's chair. If you hear him yell "Die", jump as you're about to get killed. Get up to the landing as quickly as possible. Because you did damage to Frank, he'll get pissed at you, start sparking and he'll come after you. Just dodge away and don't bother trying to attack him. Eventually he'll stop attacking and start walking back to his chair. Jump in the water and slash away, continuing to slash him once seated, but again, hit him with only a couple of jumping chainsaw slashes max when he's in his chair. He's in his chair to recharge and gain some life back, but if you hit him on the way there, and when he's seated, you should negate any significant damage recovery. Again, don't spend too much time in the water. Discretion is certainly the better part of valor. Once Frank gets back up, dodge, attack and wait for the Power Struggle. Once that's done, unload on Frank when he's on his knees and by now you should have done enough damage to finish him off. Congrats. It's all downhill from here. Oh, and enjoy your 36 ranking.

Mad Castle

Sanctuary

No scoring on this one, just one more boss before you can put this crazy castle behind you. Head down the walkway, dodging as the columns crumble until you get into the church.

Boss Battle: Elise

Elise is pretty easy as long as you keep moving. When the battle stars, run towards her and hit her with some jumping chainsaw strikes. The bats will hurt you, but just keep smacking Elise around until she runs away. At this point, run around the church, breaking boxes for happy pills and looking at the statues and the stained glass windows. Do not stand still as Elise's bats will attack you. Once you find a statue or window that's different than the others (for the statue, it will be the only one not holding candles and for the window, it won't be a silhouette, it actually looks like Elise), approach it and press the A button. This will flush out Elise and automatically initiate a Power Struggle. Win the struggle, repeat the steps from before and Elise should be out of there in no time. You now have the rank of 18.

Area 66

Access Hangar

1.) Another motorcycle section, this time with a Bloodbath Challenge. Get to 450,000 and then get to the left hand lane so that you can drive through the arch and initiate the Bloodbath Challenge.

Bloodbath Challenge: Road Rampage

This challenge is a hoot, as well as great practice for the next boss battle. When driving, the standard controls apply, however shaking the Wiimote will cause Jack to spin his bike around in a 360, spinning the Nunchuck causes him to spin and do a 180. The goal is to drive up to the aliens and perform a spin move so that Jack's bike knocks the aliens into the various hazards. Keep busting up aliens until the time runs out.

2.) By now you should be close to your goal of 2.8 million points. If not, keep on busting up enemies until the boss arch appears. When it does, get in the right hand lane and head off to the boss battle.

Boss Battle: KoJack

The same premise as the last Bloodbath Challenge holds here against KoJack. Speed off so that KoJack is chasing you, then swing the Nunchuck so that you do a 180 and head towards KoJack. As you approach him, follow the gestures to initiate a Power Struggle. Once it ends, keep either playing chicken with KoJack, or come up behind him and shake things up to slam him into the walls. You should be able to take care of him fairly quickly and claim your 11 ranking. So close!

Area 66

Maintenance Facility

There's a lot going on in this level, so just keep your head about you (literally) and you should do just fine. It's easy to get turned around in this level due to all of the elevators that take you to different places so try and keep in mind where each elevator brings you so that you can find the Bloodbath Challenge and boss gong when they appear. We'll try and point you in the right direction too. In the garages are plenty of boxes that can be broken for Happy Pills, so check back if you need healing. Your ultimate goal here is 2.9 million points which unlocks a fight against The Masters.

1.) The Stormtrooper looking enemies in this level pack cattle prods as well as chainsaws and can pack quite a wallop so be sure to keep an eye on the various enemies around you as it's easy to get surrounded and zapped frequently. Luckily there are plenty of places that you can dispose of your enemies so you don't have to travel far to find something to stick an enemy on, or through an enemy out of. Shield enemies can not be grabbed until you destroy your shield which probably doesn't need to be mentioned, but I did it any way.

2.) Once you get to 200,000 points you get the Magnet Gun which is a godsend in this level. Holding down the B button sucks enemies towards the gun and picks them up. Press the A button to then shoot the enemies away from you, hopefully into some sort of death trap. Try not to use this gun too much though as you'll need it against upcoming enemies.

3.) At 500,000 points you'll activate the Fusion Engine which you can chuck enemies into. See the elevator over here? That's the one you want to take to get up to the Bloodbath Challenge and the Boss Gong, so make a note.

4.) Eventually the Cyber Slicers will show up and these dudes will mess you up if you're not careful. They block everything, are super fast and can do some serious damage to you. If you still have your Magnet Gun, shoot it at them to make them go momentarily screwy then quickly switch to your chainsaw and hit them with a jumping chainsaw slice. If you don't have a Magnet Gun, well avoiding them works too. If the Cyber Slicers start sparking, they're going to explode soon, so try and use this to your advantage if possible.

5.) At 1.1 million points you'll open up the Alien Tractor Beam. Try and knock multiple enemies into it at once for double or triple kills and a boatload of points.

6.) At 1.3 million points a Grey will be released for your hunting pleasure. Find it and kill it and you'll get 99,999 points. Kill three of them and you'll win the level's Deathwatch Challenge. Go you!

7.) At 1.7 million points, you'll get the second Money Shot Bloodbath Challenge. Take the elevators by the Fusion Engine to make it up there.

Boss Battle: The Masters

Telekinetics. Why did it have to be telekinetic? Thankfully it's rare for both of The Masters to attack you at once. Usually one will charge at you allowing you to dodge at the last minute, slow your roll and unleash some jumping chainsaw slices. When they dash at you together, prepare for the Power Struggle and act accordingly. Occasionally they'll team up so that one is standing on a truck. Be prepared for this as you'll have to perform a gesture to avoid the truck smashing you to a pulp. There's no need to go super crazy in this fight, just let them be aggressive and you just react and dodge. You should be able to take them down fairly easy this way. Once they're down, you can claim their 5 ranking.

Area 66

Robot Factory

Just a boss this time, and a fairly easy one at that.

Boss Battle: Martin

Once the battle starts, jump on the center platform. Martin will fire missles at you, and while you can see on the floor where they're going to hit, they will deal splash damage too, so you'll probably take damage even if you're not right next to the target. Just get up and dust yourself off. If you're on the platform and Martin deploys his smokescreen, get ready for the Power Struggle. After the struggle, you can get a few jumping chainsaw slices in, but Martin has a bunch of sawblades down at floor level so don't spend too much time there. One you've sliced him a couple of times, get back up on the platform and grab the shiny new rocket launcher. You can deal a bunch of damage to Martin with this thing, then stand back while he does his crazy wobbling attack. Just keep on dodging, performing the right gestures for the Power Struggle and using the rocket launcher when it drops and Martin will be a bag of bolts in no time at all. You're now number 2 and Area 66 is but a memory.
