This was actually one of the tougher fights in the game. Angelo Credo has some nifty maneuvers up his sleeve and can be a bugger to hit. When he throws his lances at you, you have the option of snatching them with a buster and tossing them back at him or simply jumping out of the way. I recommend jumping out of the way, since they don’t really do much damage to him and grabbing them requires some pretty good timing. Lock on to him and charge at him with your sword and hack away at him with your entire button pressing might. You score some big hits against him and when he is dazed, use the buster on him for some heavy damage. Keep at him, unleashing combos on him relentlessly. He will hit you here and there but it is possible to avoid his attacks.

When he starts blocking your combos, jump back and get some distance between the two of you. Let him toss his lances again and make your way closer. When he is walking back and forth, charge him again and go nuts with your combos while still having him targeted. As long as you keep on him and get out of the way when he starts to block your attacks, Angel Credo will be but a distant memory. After the bugger finally goes down, a scene will play and you will be the proud owner of the Aegis Shield. With it you can hold onto enemies instead of slamming them into the ground when doing a buster. Head for the open door and the mission will end.

Mission Nine: For You

Nothing like starting off the mission with a tough battle. Head across the bridge and some angels will be happy to greet you. Greet you to death! Take care of them and head through the door to enter the castle. Head up the stairs at the far end and there will be a red switch on a pedestal there. Use it and it will activate some lasers inside where you just were. Hop over the two lasers in the center – air hike is especially useful here- and head up the stairs to get to the doorway on the far right. After the battle with the angels at the top, use the purple pillar to receive the Key of Cronous. This able you to slow down time and slip past the super quick laser beams.

Use it on the pedestal in the center of the room and head up the stairs. Enter the next room and use the mechanism in the far right corner to lower the lift in the center of the room. Hop on it and you will fight a few rounds with some enemies that drop in to say hi. Kill them and step off to come to another set of lasers. Use the cronus key there and slip past the lasers to get into another lift. Ride it up and dispatch the ice demons in here. Once they are down, head through some more lasers and go for another elevator ride. Once you finally come to the end, head down the hall way and you will enter Angus’s room for another battle with Agnus is his Waspinator form.

Now that Agnus is in his Angel form, he is a little tougher than his glass window was. Angelo Agnus will have a few main attacks, one of which is to grab you and drain your life into his. Angelo likes to talk a lot during the fight, so when he says that he is going to drain your health, get away from him and don’t attack. Wait for him to fly around some more and then rush in for the hits. He will toss Gladiuses at you at the start and you can grab them and toss them back at him like you did in the containment room. After he starts losing considerable health, he will summon some Cutlasses and spin them around. You can jump to avoid them when he comes close and throws them at you. When you see him fire up the yellow ring behind him, rush in quick for some quick hits as he won’t move and will stay in the same spot for an easy target. Keep on him with combos and avoiding his grasp for the health drain when he announces it and you will beat Agnus once again.

Mission Ten: Wrapped in Glory

Once you are back in control of Nero, head through the door and hop on the elevators again and you’ll meet another new enemy. Take care of him and his buddies and the hallway. There will be more lasers and a blue seal that you need to take down. Use the Cronus key and zip past the lasers to the next elevator. Use the mechanism in there to release the seal and head back using the Cronus key again to sneak past the beams and jump over the edge where the deal was. Head back out of the room, down the stairs and back into the key room. Head down the stairs again past the lasers and enter the grand hall once more. Hop over the lasers and head up the stairs to go back outside where you were earlier with the red button on the pedestal. Head across the bridge and go through the door. If you have air hike on like I told you to, then this part is a breeze since you can jump right over all the lasers in a snap.
