The GameShark Top Ten: E3 Games
We take a look at ten games we can't wait to play based on our time at E3.

2. Fallout 3 - PC; Xbox 360; PS3 - Bethesda

We played Fallout 3 for about 30 minutes at the show and came away...well we didn't want to stop playing but Bethesda basically ran us out of the room because the next group of media was clamoring to get in. Real time combat is tough, but the V.A.T.S. system is slick and intuitive, the graphics first rate, and the atmosphere exactly what you'd expect a Fallout game to feel like. It's bloody, intense, gritty, and packed with personality. If this one bombs we may just retire and start an insurance firm because we know nothing about videogames.

1.Spore - PC; Mac - EA

We went in a bit skeptical. Yeah, we'd played around with the editor; making silly little creatures that made us chuckle. Then we played it for about an hour at the show. We're hooked. Hopelessly hooked. From wandering around your little island killing rival creatures, stealing their DNA, to befriending a smaller race of herbivores after removing their predator from the area to mating and extending the life of our little race—this is the kind of game that our industry should be all about. Yeah, we loved a lot of the sequels at E3 (just look at our list) but Spore is creative engineering at its finest and was clearly our game of the show.

So there you have it. Another E3 is officially in the books and another list of games that are in beta have been placed upon a pedestal. Let's hope they all reach their lofty potential.
