Capcom Entertainment announced this week the appointment and return of Chris Kramer as senior director of communications and community. Having most recently served as Sony Online Entertainment's senior director of corporate communications, Kramer is rejoining Capcom (where he began his career in the games industry in the early 90s) and will now oversee Capcom's corporate communications positioning, product public relations, customer service and community outreach, both off- and online.

Chris brings to Capcom over a decade of video game industry experience, having previously served as Sony Online Entertainment's senior director of corporate communications. Prior to that, Chris has worked for a diverse range of interactive companies, including Sony Computer Entertainment America, 3dfx Interactive and Konami. Over the years, he has spearheaded successful PR campaigns for blockbuster franchises like EverQuest, Resident Evil, Metal Gear Solid, Star Wars and Street Fighter and for licensed products from Disney, Universal Pictures, ESPN and NFL, just to name a few. Chris has also served on the editorial side of the fence as Editor in Chief for both Voodoo Magazine and the Games channel of Daily Radar.com.
